I had to place my 97 year old grandfather into Woodhaven Care Center for rehabilitation specifically physical therapy. I found their facility was very clean and had extremely professional staff. I had great communication with updates about my fathers status. Anytime I called and had to speak to someone they got back ASAP. My father was able to come home in three weeks, and he LOVED the food. They offered virtual i-pad visits and window visits which was wonderful.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Therapy department just received a makeover and has had amazing outcomes with patients since I have been here. Facility is kept clean and many activities for residents to participate in. Great place to work!

My grandmother was treated terribly at your facility. As a nurse I know what it is like to be over worked and understaffed, but that doesn t give you the right to take it out on your patients. Kindness goes a long way and a simple smile can make a sick persons day. The majority of the aides at your facility we re unprofessional and have serious attitude problems. The one aide yelled at my grandmother for having a incontinent episode after waiting for a half hour on the call light. Her actions were completely unacceptable. The PT department seemed to be the only team that was helpful during her stay. Before my grandmother passed, she told us several times how bad she was treated, I didn t truly believe her Until a couple days ago as I said my final goodbyes to her. I wish I would have listened to her and took her out of Your facility earlier. I hope some day medical facilities will be properly staffed to ensure the patients receive the best quality of care they deserve.

I wouldn t give this place any stars! If had to say anything nice about this place it would be that the rehab staff of speech, OT, PT and respiratory are impeccable. Because of them I have to give one star! They are outsourced and are very kind and professional! My mother was there for 4 days of living hell! My mother suffered a massive stroke and had a trache and unfortunately could not speak. There were a couple aides & nurses that were kind to my mom. However they are overworked and understaffed. There was not a day that basic nursing needs fell short! Day 1 - I arrived to find 1/2 cup of mucous on my mother s chest where she had not been suctioned. In addition when I went to assist in bathing there was blood in her diaper which no one can account as to why. Day 2 - I arrive and noticed how quiet it was, well it was because no oxygen was turned on to her trache! I was told no big deal she breathes well it s only to keep trache moist! Day 3 - I arrive oxygen on but no water in bottle! So what are you doing but drying The trache out! Day 4 - I arrive bright and early to bathe my mother and what do I find...skin tear and scratch marks where someone grabbed her to turn her and tore her skin! In meeting with the DON and administrator, I was told by the administrator maybe this isn t the place for your mother! How about an apology, that it should not have never happened! We as a family were visible all day because we realized they have a heavy patient load. We were asking for the basics to be met. These small mistakes could have cost her her life! Unfortunately, my mom suffered another stroke on day 4 while there, it was a blessing in disguise because it got my mom the heck up outta there! Didn t want the delivererance from that place to come in that manner, but it was better than being carried out in a body bag! If you have a loved one who just needs rehab, can speak for themselves and you are a family that s visible you will be ok. Again, the therapy divisions are wonderful!! Otherwise, run Forest run!!! Don t do it don t do it!!! This has made me begin to become an advocate for those who have no one to speak for them. Smh....what has healthcare come to in this world???

This place absolutely tried to kill my mother in several ways. She dropped her nurse button and called me to call the facility. They put me on hold for 27 minutes. My mother has a very bad heart condition. They cut her heart meds without consulting her heart doctor and they cut her pain meds after major surgery. DO NOT under any circumstance put a loved one here.

BEWARE!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, go and look at other places before you place a loved one there. IT IS THE MOST HORRIBLE PLACE.! I had to give 1 Star. It wouldn t let me give NO STARS . This is one of many reviews I am giving, for I will be contacting many different places complaining and requesting that this place be looked into. I was a caregiver for a woman who was placed there. The family wanted me to continue to stay with her, for comfort whatever she needed. She is at the end stages of COPD. Which means she s DYING and she has a HARD TIME BREATHING at times. This HORRIBLE place knew all of this, so you would think that she would get her breathing treatments. Her medicines, her colonoscopy changed or fixed. You would think. After the first day seeing how terrible she was being treated I started to record times that we hit the call button to how long it took for a aid to come in and then how long it took a nurse to come in. I can say that a women dying of COPD. When she calls for a breathing treatment or some medication for her breathing. YOU GIVE IT TO HER IN A TIMELY TIME FRAME! , not make her wait 40 minutes. And before you clap back at me , I do have it all on video. Every single time , times where she laid there In bed with her colonoscopy bag that needed fixed and she laid there for close to 45 minutes with paper towels on it trying to stop the bowel from coming out and all over her. Yes I have video of time. Besides all of that let s talk about the nurses. Their were 2 who were very good at their job, the rest, I don t have one good thing to say about them. no compassion, very slow, none caring. Administration was just as bad, social worker etc. no help at all. SO MANY INCIDENTS . Way to many to put in this review. How about we move on to a bottle of Hal Dol left in her room. Seriously left a bottle of medicine in her room. Of course the nurse says it wasn t me. It wasn t her, she would never do that. She says it was hospice, Hospice says it was the nurses. If it was hospice they were there 5 hours before I came, so that was sitting there and no one noticed. PLEASE! We will never know who it was but that was bad.actually Criminal. Now Remember before you clap back at me I have video of this. We called to complain and speak to someone about this. A supervisor or director I don t remember who came in, along with the nurse who I considered to be the worst of them all. Says where is it? I gave her the bottle of HalDol . I was furious. As they were walking out the nurse goes everything is fine she didn t take any. Are you kidding !!! I could go on and on forever about the mistreatment by this HORRIBLE place. We were calling every day complaining, demanding that she get her meds and breathing treatments when she needs them. Every singe day there was something not being done correctly. I understand when you hit that call button you do not get immediate response, but seriously 30- to the longest 50 minutes. Come on! This woman could of died by the time they came in with what she needed. And then there s the icing on the cake. Was told she had to leave because I was causing to much trouble. Good god seriously. And before you clap back and say that didn t happen. The phone call was put on speaker and there were many ppl listening. And actually you broke the HIPPA law because you talked to someone who was not on her HIPPA forms. These other ppl in there who don t have someone coming in to look after them, I feel sorry for them. For I would hate to think on how they might be getting treated. PLEASE DONT TAKE SOMEONE YOU LOVE THERE .

At this point the facility is clean, staff is friendly and residents are happy. The residents i talk to are please with their experience. I do believe the other reviews are biased and with no evidence of events. They sound like disgruntled employees that have since been discharge from employment.

Worst treatment ever. Waited up to an hour when pushed light for help. I had knee surgery and could not walk but I ended up crawling to bathroom as I could not wait any long. All around service was horrible

Beware: If you are looking for Inpatient OT/PT... find someplace else! If I could give -2 stars I would! I received excellent care at Forbes and needed PT for my arm and hand. Transferred to WCC and In my semi private room at 5 pm, didn t receive my dinner tray until 6:45. My entree: a sandwich consisting of two slices of bread, one slice of turkey lunch meat and one slice of cheese served in a baggie! Roommate yelled throughout the night and I needed to summon a night nurse 3 times which is a joke... at least a 15 minute wait. I got little sleep when WCC felt I needed to take ONE pill @ 5 am that I had received at Forbes with the rest of my morning meds with breakfast. I checked out this morning AMA after only one night. Horrible experience!
