Excellent housing association, strict criteria, but unfortunately this is simply the case nowadays.

First I hear you are the first candidate, a viewing is scheduled. I am very happy because I will be leaving my current home soon.

Do you hear the next morning, error in the system is gone. It just doesn't seem to be granted. I have been renting an expensive home for 2 years without rent allowance. Have been registered for years and respond to everything.

You expect a housing corporation to care about its tenants. This does not apply to Domijn. A home is called an object. People come to your roof terrace without notice, do not respond when you send an e-mail, feel free to sit for four months with a poorly installed oven, and wait just as long until a sliding door has been repaired, and also feel free to abandon if you submit a repair request for a dishwasher where the spring has jumped and the door comes to drop at 120 kilometers per hour on your ankles.

Automatic collection? That, of course, runs smoothly. And of course their office is also located in one of the most beautiful buildings in Enschede.

Oh yes, do you object to the rent increase because there is little question of service and quality of living because of the aforementioned? Then you will receive a standard letter with no response or understanding to your situation.

Don't be tempted by the apparently beautiful and useful website, because the money will be tucked in there. A typical case that it is good if it is right, but if something is wrong, there is a minimal sense of understanding and want to understand you as a tenant.

Pay rent and do everything neatly, but as soon as something has to be made in the house or when you have a right to something, they cannot do anything for you, everything that domijn has done for us is very sloppy, to say the least, last time I am going to look at a house here and do not recommend it to other people !!!

Perhaps the worst private landlord in the Netherlands. Who are those people who have taken over social housing, I started to wonder? When we got a new house, it was promised, among other things, that the walls were delivered wallpaper-free and the ceiling was whitened again. Next comes a cleaning company that half peels off the wallpaper and then leaves. Again contacted with Domijn and the same company was sent again. This time they said that they were only going to make the concrete walls wallpaper-free and not the rest (the house has around 80% of wooden panels on the wall). Again sent an email to Domijn but no response back. Again sent a somewhat angry mail but again no response. The sealant edges in the bathroom are also black with mold and the paint is crumbling off the ceiling. There is also a huge mold stain on a wooden panel in the bedroom, while the supervisor said: "No, this is a concrete floor, the mold is on the wallpaper." You will then receive a telephone call from a Mrs. van Domijn on the phone informing you that the first direct debit must be transferred manually. Look, they like to make some time off for that kind of thing. Domijn, first follow the agreements and then we will talk about the financial picture ...

I have very good experiences with Domijn, I live wonderfully and they are always friendly

A housing corporation that does everything to make your house a nice home. Easy to reach and repair requests are picked up and executed quickly.

Very unfriendly woman on the phone. Shot immediately in the defense while I only came to ask if they might know where my geyser is rented.
I got the answer that the geyser is not theirs, period. Totally unhelpful with coming up with a different solution. As long as they receive money. They certainly do no more than is needed in their wallets.

We have had very bad experiences with the Domijn housing association in Enschede concerning complaints about a passing neighbors tumult. The complaints were handled very badly! The perpetrators were kept on top of the hand and the counterparty was blamed and would be better off looking for another home somewhere in Enschede! Scandalous!! I have written a letter about the complaint, among other things, to the director of this housing corporation, but I have still not received a MESSAGE from her !!!!! That is quite so polite and decent and especially common when she does !!!! Yes, she had that processed in the letters from consultant neighborhood management addressed to us !!!!! What are you incredibly GOOD about it !!!! Keep it up in the future, we would say so !!

I have passed on several complaints about the house and the neighborhood to domijn. Now it appears that little or nothing has been realized. New resident has the same complaints. Bad business

Div. residents in the flat where I live regularly cause noise nuisance or make a mess of it (mirrors spit in elevators, urinate in the porch and waste lying around), there have been problems with bicycle theft from the locked basement for years, but hardly any action is taken.
Only plus is that they are quick and friendly with repair requests.

Now for the umpteenth time again unannounced by all sorts of people in the garden and in and around the house to carry out 'work'!
Domijn has no decency whatsoever!
They are sorry for their tenants !!

The worst residential building of enschede no respect for the people who have been renting a house from them for years and leaving them with their problems very rude how they treat people I will never rent a house from them again !!

They do nothing against noise nuisance. Repairs are carried out properly and quickly. Maybe they should adjust the criteria of 1 landlord statement - to 5/10 years. Then you get the whole other people in the houses. I started renting from someone else.

Regular noise nuisance, however, it was told during the viewing that noise would be okay. Quiet after 22:00 ... not so. Lots of inconvenience, little action. In addition, extremely dirty elevators, rubbish in the hallway and strange figures in the complex are almost always. I dare not touch anything. Repair requests are responded to quickly.

Moderate housing association. If you live there and don't need anything from them, it's fine. Communication is poor and so is explanation about certain matters.

So this is the worst housing corporation I have ever seen. The people who work there are just robots. Exception from the one shorthaired lady at front desk, she is always nice.
But the corporation is maffia like not caring for common people. I sure hope i have to never deal with them again.

We were the only ones at the counter (2 tables in the Performance Factory), but she couldn't help us. Only one phone call with a colleague to ask what the rules are and that was it. Can we wait another year before we can continue with our situation!

They didn't show a lot of effort to help with our problem.
