Seemed very overpriced. For those with insurance, I'm sure it doesn't really matter much, but for those without, going here was significantly more expensive (Almost twice as) than my normal physician, who is simply in a different part of the state, but is much more experienced.
I only went once, which when I asked how much it would be to basically talk with someone, they told me that it is normally more expensive on the first visit, but subsequent visits are less. I don't know how much less, but I don't think I really got a good value on my first visit.
Still occasionally go here even though I'm not a student always prompt response and kind nurses doctors. I always felt heard and respected at this location, I like the online scheduling tools as well.
Move on to the nearest location for your health and safety.
Staff at this location do not know how to properly swab for influenza. Tested negative due to incompetent staff (with swab)
With no improvement and rapid decline, three days later at a competent facility tested positive for Influenza! Three days of unnecessary sickness and hospitalization. This all could of been avoided had they properly performed the influenza swab.
I work at WMU and, therefore, the Sindecuse is our first stop regarding health issues. Five stars indeed: doctors, nurses, technicians, staff, and receptionists. They have been ever so careful about vaccines as we often travel to the most undesirable places. They have also been patient with my occasional hypochondria which I do really appreciate.
Great staff. A few of the doctors are less than sympathetic, but pretty much everyone else in the building is amazing. If you're a student who needs a regular doctor, this is a great place to go.
This is the first primary care doctor I've had and still stick with. Dr. Lean is a doctor I trust, who cares about his patients (and their educational well being too). Dr. Ruggerio is perceptive, she is confident in knowing how to help and problem solve. The online health portal is convenient, and the wait times are relatively short. If you're a student, you might find Sindecuse to be the best choice for health care. Their safety measures regarding the pandemic is unparalleled and they treat co-vid cases pretty quickly.
So if you get in with a real doc you can have good medical care. Dr. Sheldon was down to business and the staff is efficient. HOWEVER if you get in with a P.A. or the likes there are no guarantees they will give you quality care
I have been really pleased with the level of care I have gotten from Sindecuse. The counseling center is also good and I feel like the whole place is very organized and well run. They have been so helpful to me over my time at WMU and I would recommend it to anyone who needs that sort of treatment. Dr. Ruggiero especially is really good at what she does
