Notre Dame students are doing well by walking out on Mike Pence. One shall not simply respect a person for the title or position he is at. I take off my hat for those students who had the courage to stand up in favor of what they believe in.

I agree with the students walking out on the Vice President, I'm proud of them, they are Americas best for showing freedom of expression. The Vice president is an hypocrite that supports a racist administration that marginalizes the poor and immigrants. I'm very disappointed with Father John Jenkins and Trustees for inviting the Vice president.

I wanna go here because my grandparents went there and two of my aunts!! (One of my uncles too!) I went there for a football game once... IT WAS AMAZING!!! The campus was beautiful, the buildings were pretty, and the plants made the place pop! I love the place. I wish people knew that this place was my first choice to attend but then I saw school for poopsies and I never turned back...

Their football team is doing better this year, but if the students can't stay and honor the VP, whether they like him or not, is just wrong. They may not like him but they shouldn't have walked out on him. Adults should be mature enough to not do things like that.

nice

Notre Dame is a great school, and because they are part of Questbridge, a remarkable scholarship, my daughter (not a legacy) is enjoying a top notch education that we otherwise would not be able to afford.

Finally made it to South Bend, Indiana. I've followed Notre Dame since a youth, have some family that also went to school at ND. I always follow the Shamrock Series so I've seen the great Irish play in Boston & San Antonio. Also seen them vs USC in Cali. This year I said "I'm going to the house Rockne built!" Went to the Ball state & FSU games in South Bend this year and I must say It was the most awesome experience ever. It's been on my bucket list for awhile and now I've seen 2 games at this historical site is a great feeling. The campus is just as advertised, got so many great pics and memories.

My Daughter Caroline attended Summer Scholars, and thoroughly enjoyed her experience taking Astronomy from some of the most notable professors in the world. What an amazing opportunity! I am grateful to the community of Notre Dame for giving Caroline Powers this amazing experience. Thank you

This was my first time visiting the campus. My mom and I were on our way out of town, driving back home, and we visited the campus because we were not likely coming back through here anytime soon. So we drove around the campus and I got out and took some photos of the common popular sites on the campus. It's a beautiful campus. You should visit it, if you're ever in South Bend, IN.

Notre Dame is one of the few universities to regularly rank in the top 25 in the U.S. News & World Report survey of America s best colleges. So one can think of taking admission there even by closing their eyes because they are best in every term.

Dear John Jenkins, president of the University of ...

Dear John Jenkins, president of the University of Notre Dame of Indiana, as a Spanish resident in this state of U.S.A. I am writing to tell you that he is illiterate, manipulative and despicable.

Covering the murals of Christopher Columbus, who have presided over the hall of the University of Notre Dame for more than one hundred and thirty years, considering them degrading, is like eliminating the history of the Romans from your educational system by imperialists. Why do not you start Americans to erase the thirteen bars of your flag? Yes, those bars that represent the thirteen colonies, which brought thousands of African people to treat them in the most degrading way that can exist as slavery.
Was your colonization more decent than the Spanish?
In less than a century, the English colonial influence swept the east coast of North America, exterminating the native population, except those that served as fun in the circus.

Look, Mr. Jenkins, hiding the story just because we do not like it or to look good with the four offenders on duty is to despise our identity as humanity, and to believe ourselves morally superior to hide the exploits of other peoples while waving the American flag, is to be very hypocritical.

I recommend you watch the movie "A Good Day To Die," or if you prefer, read "A Century Of Dishonor," a title by Helen Hunt Jackson.
Perhaps after seeing or reading my recommendations, the history of your thirteen colonies will also seem degrading.

P.S. Do not forget the "Appalachian Massacre" and the "Manifest Destiny".

Long live Christopher Columbus!

Awesome School! I've seen a whole floor at Breen Phillips Hall attended by students devoted to be Attorneys. Now fifty years later some are retired Judges. The students that attend there are the sons and daughters of our Nations Finest Leaders. My Grand Daughter will be there, and beware! So walks the Lord! All others need not apply! And you know who you are!

The University of Notre Dame or Notre Dame Univers...

The University of Notre Dame or Notre Dame University is a Catholic non-governmental research university located in the town of Notre Dame du Lac, South Bend in northern Indiana. It was founded in 1842 by the missionary Mr. Edward Surin, who was also the first president of the university. In 1972, students were allowed to enter the university for the first time. [2] Before that, it was established as a male-only institute since 26 November 1842. The university building was inaugurated on a plot of land donated by the Archbishop of Indianapolis, Indiana; It is clearly reflected in the clear and unequivocal commitment to Catholic belief as well as the funding of priests by the university institution as well as the architecture - of a Catholic religious nature - that surrounds the campus on each side. The Holy Cross Council has been the patron of the Foundation since its foundation. To this day, many priests of the Holy Cross continue to work for the university, including the presidency of the university administration.

The campus was beautiful and I just found the people there so welcoming. The peace and serenity at the grotto was remarkable. This is truly a place to build a better relationship with fellow man and God above.
