Witte de With (center of contemporary art) Review

Often new, sometimes incomprehensible and stimulating art. Read that it will be called Melly after months of contemplation by a small army of experts. I fear not all labor of love, but they are out. And now forward again.

They often have artists with perspectives that matter, the more interesting exhibitions. Not always an easy bite, but rewarding.

Great place to see contemporary art. The place is spacious and the lightening is great. The location is easy to reach. The exhibitions are mostly from young contemporary artists which can show to whichever direction art is going. I always recommend this place to student and contemporary art lovers.

Nice gallery, nice building. The price was a bit too expensive compared to the exhibitions.

This is more the center for activist movements than art. There are way too many videos of interviews with activists or experts and very little in terms of good creative expression.

Although it is smaller than we expected it was definitely worth it! This can be nicely combined with visiting the street where the center is located. Wc are gender neutral VAT!

If you're a student of the modern, contemporary art you will probably enjoy the porn songs and soundspaces. But chances are you're not

Always interesting exhibitions, on one of the busiest streets in Rotterdam. Now hosting cultural events too!

The exhibition at ground level (Solid Liquid Vapour) is really nice. I found the other floors quite empty, not very interesting. However the place has a great potential, if better exploited.

Great museum for modern art with very interesting exhibitions.

Amazing experience. Totally worth the 9 euro. Now I have a life time membership. Naah, just kidding, basically there was nothing there.

A center of contemporary art in continuous movement. Every time we go there are new proposals.

This is not my style of art but it could still please many others.

Mixed feelings about this place. Let me put it this way, whatever the gallery has is really good but they don't have enough. Very few items were on display. Some of the art pieces were great in thought but very rudimentary in the skill involved. Not sure if it's a problem of my artistic sensibilities or the artist's laziness. Too minimal for my taste. Minimalism being the latest fad.

Mind blowing, not always easy to understand but keep trying.....
