Hands down the best thing I did in Guatemala. Go far, far out of your way to make a trek with these guys. They have free gear rental, a friendly and responsive staff, and a well maintained website. I cannot express in a short review how much I loved my time with these guys.

Just finished the Xela/Atitlan tour. I've been on many tours all over the world and I can honestly say that these guys do it better than most. Well organised, loads of information, great guides, great food and some fun surprises along the way to keep people motivated. In a group of 19 I can safely say that everyone had a blast!! Highly recommended and great value for money.

Volunteer guides were incredibly nice and interesting. All profits go to a school for street children in Xela. We only did a half day trek with our kids to Santiaguito but next time we'll for sure do a longer one! They're apparently phenomenal!

Awesome company that runs amazing hikes, and so great to see that they give back to the community at the same time.
Were extremely helpful, responsive and understanding in all communication that we had with them as well.
Would definitely recommend!

My guides to Santa Maria were amazing. Steph, Aaron and Sid. They were very knowledgeable are caring for the group. Plus 2 other guides that were in training always willing to help. The food we had a the top of the volcano was good and the views were spectacular. And I have to said the best of all the guides was Sid. I love her and the hike would have not been the same without her.

Thanks for the great experience!

We have done the Xela - Lago Atitlan Trek and the whole tour was awesome. The guides were super friendly, organized and could tell us a lot about Guatemala history. Accommodation and food was super!!! There was nothing we could complain about. Was the best tour organisation we ever had.

Great company. We booked a shuttle from Xela to San Pedro and had two awesome drivers who were experienced and safe on the roads. Very friendly, polite and spoke English. We were collected on time, the whole journey ran smoothly and the vans were very spacious and comfortable. Is quite a windy drive for those who may experience motion sickness however is only a 2-2.5hr drive with a rest stop half way. Would definitely recommend!

Great hiking guide helping kids.

Our guides and group were awesome. The 3 day hike from Xela to Atitlan was amazing. The views, the people, the nature, the villages, it's people, the experience was amazing!

I would highly recommend but make sure you do some cardio for a few months first!

good company. they aren't the most organized but it is reasonable to expect from a nonprofit. make sure to get your gear you will need and consider bringing extra snacks. they sometimes forget their gear.

Great initiative! Volunteers guide trips, the money goes to fund a school for disadvantaged children. Despite being run on a voluntary basis, the service is thoroughly professional. Can recommend for anyone who wants to hike around Xela.

I did two hikes with them, a great company. Impressive with the guides I had up Santa Maria and the hike to Lake Atitlan. One of the gides i had for both was Julian who took two full bags of plastic off of Santa Maria. That's rock star status to me.

Fantastic organization with a great cause. The guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and the hike itself (Lake Atitlan Sunrise Trek) was breathtaking. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Guatemala

By hiking with this company you support a local school and the local communities. I truly enjoyed the Xela-Lago trek, guided by the amazing Jake, Kels and Britt. The guides are friendly, enthusiastic, helpfull and very knowledgeable. They are voluntering, but are real pro's at what they do. This trek was clearly well organized and thought out and the breaks were well spaced. Amazing views, a little challenging but not too much soo, nobody was left behind, there was more than enough tasty food, nobody was left behind, and the nights in the tamazcal en around the fireplace where also a great experience. The guides took great care of us and cooked some of our meals. Any equipment you might need like sleepingbags, warm clothes and backpacks can be borrowed free of charge, for some stuff like hikingpoles you have to give a small deposit. This trek gives you a good taste of the mayan highlands and the people living. We had a super awesome, nice sociable group that contributed to a great hike, but the guides also helped creating this good atmosphere in the group. Would definitely recommend hiking on of the QT hikes when you're in Guatemala! I would have joined one of the other hikes if I would have had the time ;)

Well ... we tried! But didn t quite make it. So, first thing is first and please don t be like us - be more prepared as far as being in shape , and researching a little more. There is no magical wand that will take you from not preparing (I.e., not doing physical activities) to trekking the rainforest of Guatemala without busting a lung (not really, but we felt like it did).

The guides are phenomenal and MORE than patient - not once did they show exasperation at us being the slow pokes of the group. Mona was there for us each step of the way, and being so ever patient with us.

The price for the experience was definitely worth it! Suggestions: bring your OWN towel, they don t have ones to borrow , and YES it will be cold (at least plan for it to be) as the weather is unpredictable.

One of the most enjoyable things I've ever done. We did the Xela to Atitlan walk with Corey, Carlos and Felix as our guides - these guys were awesome. It was all so well organised and a fantastic trek. Meals and snacks were really filling, tasty and healthy (there was always more than we needed too!). Hugely recommend using these guys - it gets even better when you consider the good cause it all goes towards.

They are a group of delivered kids who manage to transmit very good vibes and know how to take a group of people. It is a solidarity project of cooperation with local schools. Reason for more to accompany them on their excursions.

Such a fun trek to Lake Atitlan, great way to get to the lake from Quetzaltenango. You get to stay with locals and hike through this gorgeous country. For a small extra fee they'll bring the rest of your stuff to the Lake so you can travel on from there. Also all the proceeds go to a local charity. I had a great time and awesome group.

Me and my husband with a friend decided to climb T...

Me and my husband with a friend decided to climb Tajumulco with this company. they are some very important issues about their services:
1- checking our mountain gears:
We needed to rent sleeping bags and headlights from them. sleeping bags that they recommended were light therefore we suffered from cold all night and headlights ran out of battery after few minutes, so we started to climb blindly in the height of above 4000!!!!
2- Guides: young kids with little experience of how to be a guide!
one as a head guide called Cynthia, SHE WAS ACTING COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE as my friend started to feel high altitude sickness right after lunch, Cynthia didn't take any action neither calm her down or take her down. so it was me staying up, comforting my friend all day and night despite of being extremely tired. I lost my way climbing to the peak because of lack of light (my dead headlight), plus watching up for my sick friend, I called Cynthia for help, but she preferred to ignore us and run to catch sunrise! which it was my wish too but we were having situation!
and Corey, secound guide , was very kind and caring but unfortunately not informed about his job.
3- hygiene:
Non profit, helping kids, respect green nature... yes! yes! yes! we are all with you and that Is why we chose your company BUT hygiene is still matter! a little bit decency to provide us clean plates, gears, ...
I gave this stars not to the company, but to the dog that leading us to the peak kindly, this dog noticed that that I lost my way and came to help me out, thank her thousands times!

Best trekking in Guatemala, and 100% of the revenue greater than expenses supports a school K-6 and an orphanage. They are the quality leaders and the guides, at their worst, are still the best.
