Central location on Hamngatan opposite the Berns / China theater.
Free admission to the collections, guided tours are available for a fee. Large nice restaurant in the courtyard. Well worth a visit!
Good food if you are craving a slightly nicer courtyard with a cozy feeling. Good service and friendly staff.

Took some drinks on Friday night. Not anyone was good. One of the drinks both smelled and tasted like the kid. If you take the drink for SEK 150 you have to make an effort. Not any drink matched the drink list!

An upper class life frozen in time. Great art, furnishings, and lifestyle of an aristocrat seemingly left in place as it was on afternoon in the 30's. One of the better museums in Stockholm and definitely worth a visit.

A very beautiful 19th century shift with many beautiful and lavish details. I think it's a pity that there will be an entry fee for everyone from 2019. What's free now is the parade hall. The display, exhibition and audio guide cost. During the weekend, there is a queue outside for the museum because they can not take in so many at a time, but those who have pre-purchased tickets with a show get ahead. Many stairs and narrow spaces in the house, so it is not available. In the courtyard there is a nice restaurant that has a Christmas table in December.
The Christmas table is not good! The quality of the food is poor and the service even worse
If you are interrested in Stockholm history with a twist to the very rich people in high regard you should take a swing here. Admission is free an is well worth a visit.
It is a home and hospitality suite some 150+ years old. Antiques are plenty here and the interior is absolutely top-notch for its time. Very beautiful and interresting.
I am writing this review for the Hallwylska Bar & Restaurant. It was not a good experience at all.
We were a group of five people and we did not feel very welcome (looks like possibly because we were like foreigners and not blonde).
The personnel acting like that they are annoyed with our presence there. One of our main courses (king fish) was raw. When we told them, they just brought us a new grilled one after 20 minutes and the rest of us were already done with the food. No act of being sorry about this incident and no compensation.
I am not recommending the restaurant at all.

It s like a private museum. It s free, but you have to go to the gift department to get an identification sticker, and the guard will guide you as soon as you enter the door. I ll go to the locker first to store the bag, and there are kids here Game room, walking up the stairs at the entrance is the exhibition room. The collection here is very rich, which makes me dizzy. The portraits on the wall are pleasing to the eye. Each room is full of gorgeousness, because the visitors and The exhibits are almost zero distance, so there will be people in the museum shuttle, their clothing is full of special, like the clothes of college students ~ This museum is great, you can come in and visit ~

Great place to visit. Tour is cheap if you want the context, but if you just want to see the most beautiful rooms in the home, you can do that all for free.

An old house belonging to a rich family. The family liked to collect items such as weapons and porcelain. Everything is now displayed in their places in the house so generally can come and check it out. All the rooms are amazing to check out. All the rooms are decorated in all its color and motifs.

Good food, however, in the more expensive way. Quite unpleasant staff and it was very difficult to pay separately in a larger company. Recommended for smaller parties, not for example aw.

We had the free visit, which gives you the main idea about the house, but you can also get an extended visit with a guide if you are interested in seeing (and learning) more. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We spent about an hour here and we enjoyed every minute. Loved this place, the rooms were beautifully decorated and overall very impressive.

Very cozy and nice environment like that site outdoors fixed indoors. However, the reception from the staff could be a little nicer. Little for Stureplansaktig for my taste, where one assumes that all women want to drink spirits = very strong drinks. Hence 3 stars. However, a good place for a date or maybe a coffee break with a good friend.

Its kinda hidden museum which bridges you an opportunity to experience the glory of guns shields swords and lifestyle of the Queens Era. Worth a try but do afford a guide.

Recommend to go guided tour for a maximum experience, but also works to walk around yourself but you do not see all rooms. Interesting to see this well-kept floor.
