Very nasty service. Staff are very rude and not respectful. They said wait 5 minutes for my document and I waited 3hrs for my document.

no option for zero/negative starts, pathetic service to the core! hope @Dr.S.Jaishankar look into this! Where as London Embassy is providing class service

Called them regarding a photo then a lady answered the called she is very rude no manners how to handle a customer service. And Just got hanged up without me finishing my conversation

Dont even know why she got that job if she couldn t work properly bull****t.

My husband has applied for passport re-issue, we don t have government marriage certificate but we have urdu marriage certificate and it s authorised translation by state Government . Even those two certificates worked for my dependent visa. Even I have my husband s name on my passport, issued two years back in India. We can t travel to India in this pandemic time for just marriage certificate and without my newly born passport. They are not helping us. We did so many emails and went there in person but they are not entertaining.

Very helpful staff i applied emergency visa for my wife and son just a week before our flights. As the time was very less and not received any updates till before 3 days of our flights so i contacted them and requested to collect the passport and visa from consulate as it was last working day of week before easter holidays. The person answered on emergency contact number was very helpful and advised me to come to consulate when i went there the lady assist me very well and handed me the passport with visa before the closed. Thank you

Very bad service. People have stand outside for hours to get there paper or passports to be looked at .there is system at all how the office should be run.its a disgrace.

One of the top unprofessional body is Indian Consulate Office in Edinburgh, Britain I have ever seen and experienced. I cannot lambast them with any positive words, because they are the lowest dignified people in this city. A face is the identity of a human being, and an embassy/consulate office is the face of a country in the overseas.

The fact they have been demonstrated in their communication skills it is absolutely beggar description. The government of India should take all the staff return to base and train them at least 4 years on how to communicate with people at the international level, especially serving their people and diplomacy. There is no ambiguity, they have forgotten what they have studied, communication and foreign affairs.

I can not articulate enough how poor service they provide in this city of Edinburgh.

Applied for Indian passport for my minor baby and the updates and communication and manner in which the Passport Officer and Embassy team dealt with the request was so Wonderful and Professional. They understood our need after being stuck in a foreign country and made us feel that they are there for us until the end of process completion. Thanks Indian Embassy and Passport Officer and Team for all the help and support you gave for smooth completion of passport process.

We applied for OCI (minor child) in Nov 2020 and received it Dec 2020.
We would like to thank CGI Edinburgh and specially the OCI team for their support and consideration. They were very helpful and accommodating.
We were missing a document on the list of documents required so I spoke to CGI Edinburgh on the phone.
They asked us to submit the OCI application with a self declaration providing reason for not having the document. They also assured us that they will call VFS Edinburgh to accept our application.
When we reached VFS office they were aware of our situation as promised by the consulate and accepted our application without any issues.
Our application was successful thanks to the pragmatism of the staff at the consulate.
