We love WP! It s easy to get to from the Denver area and the traffic is rarely bad - compared to Summit County. We skied on Friday - no crowds at all! So pleasant! We snowshoed on Saturday with our kids. If you stay near the base of WPR, there are great options for all abilities and ages.

It s also close to town where there are more reasonably priced restaurants and lots of great options.

Can t beat Winter Park!

Save Our Bumps, keep Mary Jane extremely Colorado.

Great resort for the whole family. Runs are short, and many lead back down to the base area, but it's a great mountain for kids to learn to ski and families who enjoy skiing together. If you are a mogul skier, Winter Park / Mary Jane is your mountain.

It's a really good place if you want to go dirt biking or hiking, or just to chill, this place has it, there are loads of stuff to do there, and when you get hungry, you can go eat at the many diffrent locations it has, and the food is not that bad. I really reccomend this spot to people that have a lot going on in their lives, and just need to relax.

Went with 6 young kids and did tubing and skiing. The tubing was fun but we got snowed out. They did reimburse us for the second hour we purchased and couldn't use. When we went skiing the whole process was exhausting from signing in to getting gear to hauling everything over to the bunny slopes area only to see there was a rental area closer!? Food prices are outrageous $5 for a small cocoa, so we packed snacks. The staff is friendly so I hope they are paid well. The multiple sizes of small slopes are excellent for beginning skiers and there are wagons supplied to haul gear and kids. We had to ask other skiers which trail was the easiest of the easy (turnpike) so I think their maps/indicators could use refining.

Spent 2 days here and we were blown away! Conditions were amazing and the staff was so fun and friendly, greeting you ever time you got on the lift. Never crowded and never had to wait on any lines. Huge variety of trails!

We did not stay at the resort, but it seemed pretty nice with a small town size, but it had a mainstream feel. The slopes were great if you like blues and blacks. If you're a greenie, you may need to look elsewhere, unless you like just take the same slopes. I did limited greens for 2 days in ski class, and I didn't really get bored, but I know my buddies would have. That said, they love this place. That explains coming here 5 years in a row. The lodges are nice when you need to warm up, and the lifts are pretty quick.

This resort definitely seems a little more family oriented than some others in Colorado. I enjoy it a lot all the same. I hadn't been there for quite a while before getting the Ikon pass last year, and parking was a little confusing at first. I found a go to spot in the dirt lot though and its all good now! Looking forward to another season there!

Great resort, great skiing. Taking the winter park express train was the perfect way to get there. It runs at 7am Fri, Sat, Sun and leaves at 4pm. If you can make those times work, it is absolutely the way to get to the resort.

Winter Park is a great Ski Area less than an hour from Denver. This is the kind of Mountain you can take beginners or the Seasoned Black Diamond skier to! It is an all around great mountain with everything you will need within minutes of the Resort! I am heading back in 2018.

I really want to like Winter Park but I am having a hard time with it. I found the mountain poorly groomed where it should have been. I also felt I had to do a lot of crossing the mountain to get from run to run.

That being said I felt the little village at the base is very nice and has a lot to offer.

Winter Park is a great mountain I've come to many times. This time however, I took the amtrak Winter Park Express to the slopes. This is the way to go! The train leaves Denver's Union Station at 7am and gets to Winter Park at 9am. The train drops you off no more than 50 paces away from the lift! What's best is the return trip. The train leaves at 4:30pm and takes about 2 hours to get back to Denver. You will miss the horrible I-70 traffic and snowy roads which can take 5 hours! The ease of this made the whole day! Ride the train to and from!!

Well-maintained public areas except rest rooms by the north end of the Village Parking Garage that have loose sink fixtures and old wall-debris around toilet. Needs a daily thorough cleaning in addition to hourly checks. We've regularly enjoyed coming to the Winter Park Resort for several years now & like the free public summer garage parking.

Tickets are super overpriced and we had to sign a waiver just to play mini golf. The golf course was pretty fun, but super hard. There should be some way to separate out the different activities. I feel a little cheated from my experience today.

This place rules. My girlfriend had a pretty bad accident and the ski patrol got her taken care of right away. The skiing here is top notch and the food is stellar. Keep up the great work folks.

Amazing place. I have a pass this season and took advantage of that as often as I could. A week ago today 3 run of the day. I took a major spill. Had to contact ski patrol for help. These people are amazing. Everyone from the ski patrol staff on the hill to the nurses and doctors in the clinic made me feel comfortable and we're very confident. Turns out this is a season ender for me. Fractured my left tibia and right clavicle. I will return here knowing that my safety is Paramount, and always speedy and professional. To everyone who took care of me.. thank you and God bless.

There are less expensive options in CO, but not with the great atmosphere in Winter Park. Close to Denver. Real snow. Moderate wait times for lifts, and not too crowded. Snowboard friendly. Some great restaurants in town, short drive.

I've been to Winter Park twice, both times over Christmas break. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The terrain is great, (I like the Mary Jane side). Lines in peak season tend to get long at times. The village is nice and has everything that you would need.

Family friendly and lots of different terrain. Wish they would open up the Cirque more and put a lift back there, buy still have plenty of other options in the resort. Improvements to infrastructure over last few years have been great and hopefully point to more upgrades in years to come.
