Lovely farm near interstate 81. Glad we went there as a break from the road during our Pennsylvania road trip. Well trained friendly horses. I rode Grant, a Tennessee walker with good spirit. Nice safe guided trail for inexperienced riders. We will be back for a 2 hour private ride next time. Cant wait to try Grant at a faster pace. He was so comfortable.

I have been at Winsome Farm since May/June 2012. They have everything.
The owner, Sue Butt is like a knowledgeable 'mother hen' for horse & human --because she really cares. It is a pleasure to know her. 'Rose at the Barn'

It's by far the best riding stables my boyfriend and I have been to for a day trail ride in New England. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our ride was private and allowed us to cater to our more advanced riding skills with trots and canters - something very tricky to find. Our instructor talked to us the whole time and told us about the land, history, horses we saw along the way, and more. The horses were extremely pleasant and the forest trails and meadow views were breathtaking. We were allowed to untack and let out our horses after the ride, making it a more hands on and authentic experience. Afterwards our instructor took his own time to show us the farm's two new Alpacas and three baby horses. It was absolutely amazing to be able to meet them up close and I was extremely excited to interact with them. The grounds were well managed, the cost of an hour ride very affordable, and our whole experience magical. Thank you Winsome Farms, we hope to ride with you again!

My husband and I did a one hour trail ride last Saturday to celebrate my birthday. We had so much fun. The farm is very big, they have lots of horses including a few gaited horses, and everything is clean and well-maintained. Our trail guide was Carl, who said he also helps manage the farm full time and has been there for 20+years. They definitely take great care of the horses and are very knowledgeable and confident with them. The trail ride was safe and organized and the trails are pretty. I rode a horse named JR, who was great, and is also a gaited horse, and my husband rode a horse named Aztec. They have very affordable prices for trail riding.. the cheapest I found anywhere nearby, and we will definitely be back!

BEST boarding facility EVER! FIRST place we have boarded our horse and have NOT worried about him! They REALLY care about the horses. FULL SERVICE at it's finest! I know we will NEVER find a better place like this one! We are a military family and are sadly leaving soon.
