I recommend Winnipeg Hyundai for your next vehicle ask for Marc or Derek and tell them you want gap insurance. I had to use gap 4mths after purchasing my new vehicle. Derek swore by it and so do I. This is round 2 with Derek and the experience is just as excellent as the first time. No high pressure sales tactics.

There was miscommunication when booking service that was my fault but they did not hesitate to accommodate my mistake. Would definitely recommend!

Super poor experience. Service can't or doesn't want to hear or see what's wrong with the vehicle, so I sent pictures and movies, confirmed if they received them and no response since then, not to mention that after body work, they forgot to leave parts inside of the vehicle and now i have to make a 250km trip to pick them up.

The dealership worked hard to put me in a vehicle - both quickly and professionally. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was friendly and professional and willing to assist me. There was no high pressure sales tactics and everyone worked hard to find the right vehicle, at the right price, to fit my needs. The is the second car I have purchased from Winnipeg Hyundai and the service both times has been exceptional. Great Team atmosphere. Call out to Colin for going above and beyond to help me.

Purchased our third Santa Fe sport (this time the Ultimate) and 2nd vehicle from Bill Turnbull, a week ago. Totally honest and forthright from the very start. We came in for service for our 2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T
And tested the same in the 2017 version.
A very nice ride and great looking car.
But I told Bill there really wasn't enough difference in our unit (and it was only 3yrs old) to make the switch.
He asked if I tried the Ultimate model.
Took it for a drive. Bill showed the new options to us. We just knew this was going to be our new car. The safety features are fantastic.
Bill applied absolutely no pressure on us to purchase and I really respect that. Ralph the new GM, and Derek were absolutely great as well. I really like the no pressure sales tactic. It works. Especially when the vehicles are so good. And the honesty shows through.

About a year ago I purchase my car from Thiago at this dealership and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Recently I got in a car accident and my car was deemed a total loss. Between the auto body contact Allison, rental car manager Dee, sales manager Reuel, and finance manager Chris I am now only a week and a bit after my accident almost in another car. Big thanks to Chris Martin for dealing with my file and taking all my phone calls, emails and texts made the process a lot easier and explained everything in great detail to make sure I knew what was going on every step of the way! - * Note * For people buying new consider the Gap and Companion insurance it saved my butt so much on this recent experience and even tho the accident was 100% on the other party this could have put me back a lot of money if I didn't opt into these extras so ask questions and understand them they could just save you as well!

Service has been OK but not great - list of problems with 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe (Bought brand new) is ridiculous - 6000 spend on car since it went off warranty. Also trusted body shop with work to replace a lot of front end after an accident. 13 months after work was done radiator seal failed and send coolant everywhere. Phoned to see if they would help. No reply. Another 1050.00 to fix elsewhere because they couldn't even have the decency to call back.
Update - They called back 2 full days after asking for help. It is now 3 days before Christmas. I had to pay 1050.00 to get it fixed elsewhere because I can't wait 2 days for a callback that should have been done within an hour of my request for help.

He was not pushy with me and advise me to get extra warranty. Which will come in handy I'm sure. Thank you for the great service

Second time purchasing a car at this dealership an...

Second time purchasing a car at this dealership and both times deal have fell through.

First time, after the paperwork was signed and a price was agreed upon, they tried to hide extra fees in the bi weekly payments even though we had signed the agreement for everything in, including taxes at 0% financing. When I refused to pay the extra fees, the deal fell apart. While I was walking out, they explained that the sales manager was `new` and had made a mistake.

Second time, went even further. Signed the paperwork, did the financing and even made the deposit. Got call the day before picking up our vehicle saying that they made a mistake. The dealer demo that we were buying had 11000 kilometres instead of 6000 kms, and was not driven by the salesmen that they had told us. They were somehow unable to say who had actually driven the car. We were then offered a price on a brand new vehicle and the dealer would not budge at all, even though that since we had a signed agreement as well as made a deposit, they were obligated to provide us with that product, or failing that, then to provide a better product in place of the car they could not provide. We offered to pay more for the new vehcile but could not come to an agreement. Little to no acceptance of their mistake. Continued to try and push the new vehicle for a higher price and gave an offer of a small discount on the demo vehicle that somehow no one knew who drove it and why they were so far off on their km`s. Both offers were an insult. We picked up our deposit and will not return. Terrible experience, and a huge lack of integrity at this dealership. Definitely would recommend to stay away from this one.

I bought a car here and I have come back for couple of services. The staff that sell the cars is very nice but the woman at the service counter. She does not care about your car or any customer requests. I have had two bad customer experiences with this person and with the service there as well. They stated that they clean your car "for free" after each service and this never have happened. Additionally, I have had mentioned couple of issues with the A/C (malfunctioning) and the shock observers (huge noise) and the guys there did not even test the car to check this out. They change the oil in and return your car without checking anything else at least.

I have just purchased a new 2019 Santa Fe from Winnipeg Hyundai. I can't say enough good things about the team there that helped me throughout the journey. I felt very comfortable in dealing with them and never once felt like I was being pressured. I encountered mechanical issues with my trade in on the day I was supposed to take it in. They worked with me to resolve the issue by being patient and offering up solutions to help me out. Highly recommend this dealership.

Made a disposit on a vehicle. Then 48 hours later something personally unfortunate happened to me which affected my decision to finalize my lease deal. Winnipeg Hyundai was not understanding as they refused to refund back my deposit. They are even aware that I am a fulltime student so clearly they should understand that a $500 deposit loss is highly inconvenient for me. I am aware other dealerships give back deposits unfortunately this place does not. I would pick a different location to do business with next time.

I've been driving Hyundai since 2015.

I was on my way out of Winnipeg to a meeting when my engine light suddenly came on. I stopped in at Winnipeg Hyundai to have them take a look whether or not the vehicle was OK to drive (I needed to get to Portage La Prairie). They scanned the vehicle to diagnose the problem and it turns out the vehicle had a recall and needed to be repaired right away. I asked for a rental or courtesy vehicle to get to my meeting in Portage and was told they didn't have any available at that moment but if one WAS available it would be free.

I told the service advisor that I would get a rental from another rental company because I needed to get back to work and he told me to bring in my receipt from Enterprise. Luckily, I had 1 free day car rental with Enterprise and claimed that. Wasnt sure how long the repairs would take but was told I could come back the next day. Later that same day, I got a phone call from the service advisor that they now had a free rental for me to drive but its too late because I'm already back at work.

THEY HAD MY CAR FOR 4 DAYS. My rental was $193.08 AFTER I claimed my free day.

Now I'm being told I cant get reimbursed for a rental because it wasn't through Winnipeg U Drive Rental and I didn't have extended warranty. So how can you offer me a free rental through U drive without extended warranty? Because first it was "We don't have any rentals" then it was "You don't have exteneded warranty." then it was "You can have a free rental but only with U Drive."

They took a photocopy of the receipt & sent me on my merry way to never contact me again. I called to inquire about it and was told that they submitted it to corporate and were waiting to hear back and I never heard from them again. Thanks a lot Hyundai. Maybe you should take a few of those unused "older model" cars on your lot and turn them into rentals or courtesy vehicles for your customers so they have to deal with the BS.

The entire experience was very nice, walking in was greeted immediately, then the wonderful Chayson came to help us, we had said we wanted to look at the kona. He walked us through everything, the different additions we could have, and the costs of everything. The sales manager chatted with my mom while we went on the test drive and treated us like we were truly valued. I appreciated the level of professionalism, and customer service.

It s nice they have continued to check on us to make sure we re happy and if we have any other questions.

I would highly recommend getting any vehicle through them, Chayson and Ryan went above and betond helping remove my stigma of the cheesy car salesmen.

I first met Bill Turnbull in 2006 when I purchased my 2006 Santa Fe. He is not high pressure and is very knowledgeable about the workings of the vehicle he is selling. I purchased my 2012 Santa Fe from Bill in 2012. Again, I was pleased with how the purchase experience went. It does not feel like a car purchase I have had at other dealers in years past. No help after purchase. Had issues and they ignored me for two weeks until I contacted management. Took over a month to get answer and then answer was "no". Their way of dealing with issues is ignoring you. I u derstand can't alway do what customer wants but ignoring and hoping you will go away. Is very annoying. Get everything in writing.

I had went to another dealership, because they had a Hyundai Accent with remote start. I wanted the car so tried to get a deal. I had called the next day to find out what was happening with the deal. I felt like I was not a priority and they would get to me on their own time. I told them to cancel the whole deal. Feeling upset, I went back online and thought "what the heck, I'll fill out an application for finance from Winnipeg Hyundai". I got a call from Cassidy and gave all the information needed. Decided to find out what they could do, we went in. Not only did they get me a 2017 Hyundai Accent in the color I wanted (silver), I also got the remote starter I really wanted. Derek got me an awesome deal with the finance and both gentlemen made me feel like I deserved this car. The experience was above and beyond exceptional service. I WILL recommended them to family and friends and know that they would get the same service. GREAT JOB! DEREK AND CASSIDY!

I have purchased 2 new vehicles at Winnipeg Hyundai and have been more than satisfied with both the vehicles and the sales experience. I did not have a lot of service done on my first vehicle (another positive) and the newest has yet to reach a point of requiring anything. Overall I found the sales staff at the dealership to be friendly and helpful. My salesperson was excellent. I won't buying another vehicle soon but when I do Winnipeg Hyundai will be my first stop.

Please bring your car to other dealership, especially if you didn't buy your vehicle from them. They will try to touch every parts of your vehicle and will ask you to fix them even you didn't experience any problems before.

I am really devastated on what happened on my car. My first visit was to do an oil change and wheel bearing replacement.They insisted that almost all the lights were out and needed to be replaced. Since it was my first time, all I did was to say yes. Until a couple of days and I noticed that my left fog light got loosened. I went for a second oil change and after that my motor mount was loosened!!! This shows how incompetent they are.

During that second oil change, they asked me if I wanted my short block to be replaced by requesting it to Hyundai Canada. I didn't use my car for a week due to loosened motor mount. After 1 week the short block parts arrived. After getting it done, they wanted me to pay $1100 for a damage that I have not had before. Now on transmission. Is it supposed to be their responsibility since they are the one who touched my car. Also the the advisors are very unprofessional. Who laughs at their customers on the phone. And they seem to not know what they are doing as they kept on holding me without warning and their manager (Ralph) kept on telling them what to say.

Upon checking the estimates and receipts, they are charging for parts that you could buy it on Amazon 70% less (Genuine Hyundai Parts).

ALSO CHECK YOUR INVOICES. THE NUMBERS DON'T ADD UP!!!

I felt welcome the moment I walked in the showroom and even the General Sales Manager personally made sure I was looked after and got the best deal. I purchased my Hyundai Santa Fe from this location.My salesman Bill Turnbull was very great in getting me a good deal!
However, when I went back to get my car serviced twice.I had such a bad experience with the Service Center.Because I was made to feel as if I'm a nuisance instead of a customer. Especially when I went back for the second time to get my car serviced.
The woman at the front desk treated me so badly. When I went to drop my car. I explained to her my concerns that I have with the car engine, the remote starter, & my tire. So I asked her to get them checked by the car technicians.
It was about 11:30 at the time, & she told me to come back after lunch hour to pick up my car. I asked her if she can get me a ride home with their shuttle service. Because I had my wisdom tooth removed the day before, & I was still in so much pain. I wanted to go home, & get some rest while they are servicing my car.

However, to my surprise she told me she can't get me a ride.She didn't even make any effort, & I don't know why her general demeanor towards me wasn't friendly at all! So I went on to run some errands, & came back after lunch to pick up my car.
But, my car wasn't ready yet. So I asked her again if she can get me a ride to go back home.She told me flat out "no". So I waited there for while, & at around 0200pm. I walked back to the Unicity Shopping Center. I spent about an hour, & half there, & went back to pick up my car. Which was still sitting outside.
I got pretty upset at this time because I was still in pain, & tired. I needed to go back home so badly.
So when they finally took in my car for service it was like 03:30pm. When they finished servicing my car at around 04:15pm. I asked the technician if they find out what the problem with my car engine, remote starter, & tire. The service man said they haven't looked into those things.Because it was never mentioned on the service request form!The woman at customer service simply disregard my requests! So I left very disappointed, & will never go back there again!

I had a great experience with Cassidy the car salesman! He was fantastic throughout the purchasing process. After having some difficulty with a different dealership in Winnipeg, Cassidy was extremely accommodating. He recognized exactly what I was interested in and did not try to sell me on any other vehicle. The price was great, the car was clean, he even offered to come to work after hours to help with the deal. Next time I need to buy a car I won't bother going to any other sales person, no matter what dealership he is working for.

I have recommended the bodyshop of Winnipeg Hyundai to get my car fix but what happens is after getting the car work done there team recognized that one new part hasn't been installed after three days and they just delivered the car. What service they are provided it clearly shows up so before choosing the bodyshop service think wisely I don't want any other person goes through this unwanted situation. Rest the staff is good in sales department but service department I don't believe in their promises anymore. Disappointed by there service don't recommend.

Knowledgeable and flexible sales and service staff and management. Very appreciative of the no pressure approach to sales, unlike other dealerships we also looked at during the same period (I m talking to you Birchwood Nissan). Evan (our salesperson) knew the models and features thoroughly, and was able to clearly demonstrate them. The dealership also provided a loaner vehicle for a week FOC while waiting for mine to be shipped... very impressed with that. Thank you Winnipeg Hyundai, I ll be back!
