Windows on the Lake is a hiden gem on Long Island. The view is breath taking and only gets better as the sun sets over the lake. The food is delicious and the staff is very personal never treating you as just a number. Frank and company went above and beyond accomedating a personal set back, where many venues would of left you out to dry.
Good food, service, and atmosphere but holy cow the music was loud. Way too loud. Others at my table complained too but tuffed it out. Me, I had to go sit in the waiting area every now and then to get my hearing back or stuff my ears with toilet paper. I m sitting here writing this and two men walked by me complaining about the volume of the music. No coincidence I m sure. Bring earplugs

It took me a lot of time and thought to review this venue. I was not sure where to start. I am not one to complain eor leave a bad review. I dont want to make a scene especially a wedding. My husband and I attended a wedding here a few weeks ago. The small waiting area was not large enough for the guests to wait for the ceremony to start. This led to guest waiting standing in the parking lot. There was a crossing guard was helping guests cross the street to the ceremony by the lake. The traffic that was stopped continuously honked at the guests and yelled profanity at the guard. It was not a welcoming experience. During the ceremony the wedding and ambiance was beautiful. However the fact that the wedding takes place near a busy road, the sounds of cars, trucks and motorcycles made it very hard to hear the ceremony music, vows and speeches. It was constantly interrupted by the sound of traffic. Cocktail hour was held outside (so we thought), guests were not notified that there was a extra room inside the venue that was available to us to enjoy food. There was not enough seats and tables for everyone to sit and eat. You would have thought that one of the wait staff would have notified some guests to move inside where they would be more comfortable. You would never know there was another area unless you went inside to use the bathroom. Since 98% of the wedding was in the outside cocktail area, food was always slow to be replenished, Forks and utensils were often empty with no seating and only 1 bar for over 100 guests. Cocktail hour food featured shrimp with pasta Alfredo (Alfredo was just butter and oil with pre packaged mini shrimp) over cooked seafood paella, and stuffed eggplant that was texture lacking. The cold pasta salads were way over salted and inedible. The mashed potato bar was a nice touch however the server was eatting mashed potatos as he was serving guests. Dinner food was average at best. None of the steaks were cooked correctly to order but I can forgive that. We just traded steaks with other family members at the table until we were all satisfied. By this point my date and I didnt have high hopes for anything decent to eat. The wedding candle centerpieces that were provided by the venue melted within the first hour of the reception that got hot wax all over the table cloth and plates. The desserts were delicious however I would be careful when pouring your milk into your coffee. There was brown stains on the inside of the small pitcher. I hoped it was only stain in the porcelain but I was able to wipe the brown residue with my finger and wipe it off with my napkin. I will never recommend this venue. There are so many other local venues with a similar budget, that will not give you terrible food and dirty plates
Good food great service and excellent staff would totally recommend this place to friends and family Michael goes above and beyond the call to make sure your experience is extremely memorable.
Windows On The Lake is simply breathtaking. Spacious, elegant diningrooms, delicious food choices, and a panoramic view of the lake left us in awe. One-stop shopping; catering, music, dresses, suits, photos, music, limos, valet parking, they offer it all. Frank and his team of warmhearted, accommodating, spirited event staff, are the people who are going to make my friend Necole's wedding day gloriously memorable.
They are running some weird marketing scam with beach club estate.
Michael is amazing! Everyone here is so helpful and determined to make your event everything you imagine it being! It's a romantic, quaint, and private location with a beautiful lake view from every angle of the property.

I went to Windows On The Lake on June 9th for their Wedding Expo. We were impressed with their setup and the samples provided from cocktail food/drinks to desserts and different vendors for a typical wedding. We got to talk to Michael who was amazing, very friendly and so informative that we booked the venue right away. He gave us a good wedding package which we can't pass on. Looking forward to working with the Windows On The Lake staff and their vendors for my wedding next year.
Today I had an appointment with Michael for my wedding that I plan to have in May. I couldn t express enough how amazing Michael was! Right off the bat Michael made us feel so comfortable and the meeting felt like sitting with a friend. He asked all the right questions and made me feel so special and confident in having a beautiful wedding with them. I ve looked at other places but he is only person we ve met with this far that actually cares about you and wants to make you happy. At this venue he will work with you and make your wedding so worth it! If interested definitely call and ask to meet with Michael!!

I just had my wedding at WOTL last week and am still speechless at the superb level of service we experienced. From the initial meeting all the way through to the actual wedding day, Michael, Danielle, Anthony, Frank and Maria were an amazing team to work with. The way each one of them went out of their way to provide us with the perfect wedding day brings tears to my eyes. I cannot thank them enough for helping us make our dream wedding come true. There was no problems too big or small. My bridal attendant Sabrina was AMAZING! She was right by my side all night, making sure our day was everything we dreamed of. This venue is very detail oriented and really take great care to give you their very best level of service. Thank you Windows on the Lake staff. We will never forget how you all went above and beyond to make our day perfect!!!
We thought this was the perfect venue. Read some great reviews. But then we experienced it for ourselves and we were left with a much different sentiment. First of all the place was not even ready at the 6:30pm start time. It was a disorganized mess. There wasn t nearly enough seating for everyone. The food was alrigh but not anything like what we had expected given the rather high cost of things. Some of the staff seemed like they were poorly trained for wedding receptions. If you want An inside look at the attitude of their staff, check out some of the 1 star reviews and then read the arrogant and aggressive company responses. Are these really the type of jerks that you want facilitating what could be the most memorable day of your life? Think about it. For us, it was a dreadful experience!

We want to thank Frank and all the staff at this wonderful venue. We had an excellent time, the planning was smooth, the staff was courteous and professional, the Rainbow room was spectacular with great views, last but definitely not least, the food was superb. All in all our expectations were exceeded with the service and attention to details. Thank you all for an awesome experience.
My husband and I were supposed to have our dream wedding here.
But due to COVID our wedding was cancelled on us 4 days prior to our big day.
The day before it was cancelled we payed in full & I asked what would happen if Covid affected I was told we ll be covered.
Well 7 months later & not a penny back.
I understand COVID did a number on businesses but this is just absurd.
I feel robbed. I am hurt. And the excuses are just ridiculous.
I'm not a review person, but my cousin had her wedding at Windows On The Lake last weekend and I have to say it was incredible. Coming back to Long Island I was thinking this would be another catering hall in a parking lot. Not! The wall of windows with views overlooking the lake were stunning, the food was surprisingly good and the service was perfect! We didn't feel like we were at your typical Long Island catering hall. The palm trees made us feel like we were back home on the beach!
Nice place to have an event. Staff were great. The place itself was very clean and overall impressive. The appetizers served were really good, as were the drinks. The dinners we had were mostly good with the exception of the vegan meals which seemed like an afterthought. Everything else was top notch so still easily 5
We just booked this venue for my daughter's Sweet 16 for next year. From the moment I made the first call, dealing with Michael was AMAZING! He gave us the best attention to make this day unforgettable for our daughter. All the staff was very professional and attentive, they always answered all of our questions. The Venue is absolutely beautiful, and the best part is that you can feel an incredible atmosphere.

Me and my wife had our wedding here August 1st 2020. We have to say we are truly happy with their service and assistance in a wedding that was planned just 2 weeks before the date. The bridal assistant and Charles the maitre'd did a wonderful job. Both went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our wedding to the fullest. We can't leave Michael behind as he did an exceptional job to make sure everything we wanted, we got. Overall, we enjoyed our day with our guest and everyone enjoyed our menu as well. We want to thank Windows on the Lake for making our day unforgettable. Everything from the view to the help was outstanding!

We recently went down to Windows on the Lake, checking it out for our wedding we are planning. The place is awesome, right on Lake Ronkonkoma with nice water views. The ceremony area is lake side with beautiful lawn and landscaping too! We really liked that they have an outdoor patio for the cocktail hour. Both the two main party rooms have floor to ceiling windows looking at the lake, and their own bar areas, very nice. The place has a nice and simple layout, works great for a place that caters to one event at a time!
We had met with Michael who showed us around the place, he was so accommodating and nice to work with! He truly wanted to make sure we were going to enjoy our wedding, the food, the room, the scenery and everything! As we went over the options, details and whatnot we were able to try the penne ala vodka and one of the desserts and it was amazing! I'm impressed with their food so far! So we did it and finalized our date, and know that Michael, Frank and everyone there will make sure things go smooth. We are really looking forward to our wedding next year, and know it will be great time at Windows on the Lake!
I recently I got married with my husband Trevor on February 8, 2020. We just want to share that we 100% had the time of our lives. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. We love working with Danielle, Michael and Uncle Frank and their staff. The food was definitely delicious, all our guest had a blast and share that the food was delicious. OMG! From the moment we arrived, we KNEW this was the one. The photos on the website show beautiful, scenic views of Lake Ronkonkoma but in person, it is truly breathtaking. We were immediately greeted upon entrance and offered refreshments before taking a tour of the grounds. We are so excited to have booked our wedding here but even more excited to work with Michael and the rest of his family who own the venue. Michael went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and made us feel like family. We could instantly tell that with him assisting us throughout this process, we were in great hands. I highly recommend you book your events here. With all of the delectable food options, views, space, parking, and true VIP treatment, it makes for the perfect place to hold your special occasion.

My sister's wedding was here. I was nervous because this was the only place she checked out, but they did amazing job. The food was unbelievable, and the people running the show were present, quick, helpful, and super friendly. I'd absolutely throw an event here in the future.
Worst experience of my life. I planned to have my wedding at this hall in August 2021 and canceled because everyone that works for this company is super shady. After they canceled my 3 tasting I canceled my whole wedding event and was told I would be getting my money back in 3 weeks and still haven t received it. It s now 7 months later every time I call for an update on my money back they give me a run around or don t even call me back. Bart states they have to wait for events in order to give me my money back but yet now they opened a restaurant in the hall. They are complete scam artist. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK here. I am now hiring a lawyer because they broke my contact.
I usually dont write reviews, but had such a great time with my family i had to.The view was really nice, the staff was great, The food was amazing, and everything was fresh. I couldnt get enough of the carving station and the price was great too (i used their facebook coupon). Great overall and will be coming back for Thanksgiving!

What to do for valentines day? I m glad I saw the ad just in time to take my loved one out. It was great from start to finish. Valentines day and we didn t have to wait to get seated. It was dinner dance.The dj played a great mix and we danced all night. The surf and turf dinner and the chocolate decadence cheesecake was amazing. When here today for Mother s Day brunch had a 230 reservation didn t get seated till 3 o clock. Very disorganized on top of that had to wait on a very long line for food which was another 15-20 minutes. half the food was an out empty trays on the table waited quite a while for desserts to be refilled I would not recommend this place for any kind of an affair.

I stumbled across WOTL on a Google search as a last hail Mary in attempt to keep our date. See, we had a venue booked since early January and of course as COVID took over I had to constantly be the one to call the venue and see how things were going to affect our wedding. Being constantly told there was no need to worry because no fall weddings had been cancelled; they continued to ask for more payments. A week before the lock down began I had choosen my dress and had already made deposits with my other vendors. They did not allow us to cancel our wedding with a full refund or at the least keep just the initial deposit. They kept half of the payments made and would not answer calls, the owner hung up on me, the manager literally laughed at us; mocked our stress us stating how unfair it was for them to keep half our deposit.
After calling several venues an appt was made with WOTL to meet with Michael and view their Beach Club Estates. From the start I loved Michael's vibe and willingness to help us save our date. He instantly knew from our viewing the pictures of Windows on the Lake, that it was venue we never knew we absolutely needed to host our special day. He spent close to three hours showing us around and going over the different possibilities, determined to make our budget work. We signed our contract that same week and began to work with both Michael & Danielle to fill in all the blanks and rush through a year's worth of planning in 1 week!! For my wedding on the 18th!

Wonderful place right on the water! The view from my daughters sweet 16 in the rainbow room was fantastic! We got some amazing photos! The food was fresh and fantastic and we loved the chocolate fountain! My daughter and all her friends had a blast and Frankie the Maitre D did a great job of making our daughter feel very special. she is still floating on air. Thank you Windows on the Lake!

Both places are great for any special occasion (Windows on the Lake & Beach Club Estate). They are both updated, recently renovated, always clean, family friendly, having different choices for food, venue, and services, and their staff is great. They are also encouraging and enforcing social distancing and mask used. Both locations comply with their local health department and current state and local regulations to stay and keep us healthy.
My family and I recently visited both locations and met Michael and Danielle. We booked our daughter s sweet sixteen. Michael s energy, professionalism, understanding of your needs, and experience were FANTASTIC. You will feel like you are talking and dealing with your good uncle and letting him on charge of your daughter s magic night. We also met Charles who gave us tips regarding different stages within the event to light it up at the right moment creating unforgettable moments for you loved ones.
We also met a very important gentleman at the location, The Chef. We met him for a couple of seconds, because he was busy coordinating another event, but he was very polite too and we said that we will meet one another again for our food tasting afternoon . First off, me and my wife just recently got married at the end of May and we wanted to thank so dearly for Reverend Frank Amantia for marrying us. He was so wonderful and amazing, guiding us exactly what was needed to be said for the ceremony. We also want to thank his nephew, Michael Amantia, for the very warm greeting to the venue itself. More importantly, we want to thank the venue's staff the most. Everyone there was a great big help, making sure everything went perfectly smooth. The grounds was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was filled with so much fun and joy as provided by the staff. The food was fantastic. My wife said our bridal attendant, Sabrina, was absolutely phenomenal. When the day got a bit hot during the ceremony, Sabrina provided us with so much relief such as water, shades, anything we needed. We couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding. Thank you so much Frank, Michael and everyone else that was involved at Windows on the Lake. We would definitely recommend for anyone to have at any occasion at Windows on the Lake.
Just recently got my tour around the venue over there by Michael and it was fantastic. The lake view and their pasta was amazing. Michael was also super friendly and gives you a great detail about what they offer and the prices. Had a great time at the tour the place looked really amazing. They are family owned business so everyone was friendly and they work with you. Highly recommend this place or at least check it out with a tour. You wont regret the view.

So I am planning my daughters Sweet 16 and called various venues to set up an appointment for a site visit. My visit to this place was a terrible experience. I was at the venue for about 10-15 minutes. I was only shown one room (rainbow room) and told that would be where the event would take place. Then I was told that for 120 people the cost would be $17,000 and how that included "everything." When we sat down and I tried to get the details on what "everything" consisted of it was impossible to get any answers. The person that attended me, which I am assuming was Frank as that is whom I spoke with when scheduling the appointment, never even introduced himself. This visit in comparison to the others I've had was horrendous. Don't waste your time!
Beautiful place , food was good drinks were weak at first but when notified the bartender he fixed them right up. Although it was the winter time we werenot able to see the view but I'm sure its nice in the summer.
Just called to get pricing for an event and the woman who answered sounded pretty rude and would not give me pricing. She said I needed to come to the location to look at the menu. I have been calling locations all day and no one else has refused to give me pricing over the phone or mentioned needing to drive to the physical location.
The place was pretty, and cocktail hour was nice, but the dinner plate was Lacking and COLD. No one monitored bathroom supplies and the change in rooms seemed unorganized.
My husband and I and four other friends attended the 2014 New Years Eve party at Windows on the Lake, this year was the best. We already planned to come back next year. They do the little things for you that truly makes everyone feel like family. I will recommend Windows on the Lake to all my friends and family.
