Process was very thorough and guaranteed both our windows fit perfectly. Good customer service and a substantial, quality product. Now I don't have to dig snow our of the window wells! Pheasants love them too.

This company was quick and was able to get me the window wells size that we needed. Unfortunately the delivery was not so great. The delivery person was very rude and unprofessional. At the beginning he has giving us an attitude. We asked him to move the pallet a bit more since he left it at the middle of the driveway and he said okay but never end up doing it. We asked again and he said nope. What a horrible experience. I have never in my life experience this.
Very disappointed with their custom window well grates. I received my grate and it was too big on all sides. When I questioned the fit, the company had a growing tolerance number to get you closer to the difference for the grate I received. When I ordered it; I was not told any tolerance was built in, and that they would guarantee the fit. Then, I was told a 3/8 tolerance was built in after I notified the company initially that the grate was too big, at which time I pointed out that what was sent was still quite a bit bigger than that. Then a 3rd person got back to me saying the tolerance is 5/8 + another 3/16 , which still doesn t get you to the size I received, and they suggested I cut into the wood frame around the window to make the cover fit better. Save your money and just order a stock grate, since that s basically what you ll get.

Ordered a window well on November 25th and gave the dimensions. On Dec 28th we were told that they didn't have the dimensions and they sent an email. We never received the email and asked for a refund as our client went a different direction due to the length of time. Called January 26th and was told they would refund me. Never came, called again today and they keep passing the buck. Going to have to contest with my credit card company.

Placed an order on June 12th with dimensions and was charged for the order. 3 months later and I have not received the window well. They claim that the dimensions weren't sent. I found the transmittal and proved that they were. Still radio silence from them. No window well. No refund.
Literally the worst customer service I ve ever had. Months after my order was placed. Each time I call in they are rude on the phone and say your order is shipping tomorrow. This happened 5 or 6 times in a row. Then finally they said. Oh it s going to be another two weeks. Smh. Cancelled my order. Hope they actually refund me. What a joke.
We love our window well cover! We had a wonderful experience working with Window Well Experts and would highly recommend them! Our window well is not typical and was challenging to even measure as it tucks under a cement ledge. The experts at WWE were excellent at communicating how to measure and they worked with us every step of the way giving us very detailed instructions.
Our cover fits perfectly and it looks great. It's so much nicer than the flimsy plastic covers in the big box stores! Being that the cover is at our entryway, we wanted it to look nice. This cover exceeded our expectations. Thank you!
I ordered in October and still haven't received the cover. When I call I get excuses. When they say they will check on it and get back to me they never do. Poor delivery, poor customer service, and never a straight answer.
Ordered customer window wells for a job and they never came in. When we called to see what happened they said they must of got lost in shipment. Bad thing is they didnt even have a tracking number so they had no clue what happended.

I submitted information for a quote, which came by email from a Laura Frisch a day later. I replied to this email to ask some questions and received no response. I got another email from the same person not answering my questions but asking if I had made a decision. I replied and got no response. I continued to get more emails from this person but never got my questions answered. I purchased window well covers elsewhere.
I ordered a window well and cover with Window Well Experts. The cover was shipped right away, but the window well was delayed due to production problems The Window Well Representative, Kelly, was appropriately apologetic and made what could have been frustrating and negative into a positive event dealing with a nice person The window well arrived and has been installed and looks as nice as the one pictured on the company website.
I ordered a window well cover last year. I gave complete and specific dimensions. The cover arrived with dimensions that don t match what I sent. My MANY inquiries were either ignored or I was given the run around. I sent screen caps of the emailed order dimensions, and photos of the actual cover with a tape measure to illustrate the discrepancy. The company has made no effort on their part to rectify the situation.
In the end, the actual window well cover itself was MOSTLY provided to proper specs, but what an experience getting to that point... I'm a very detail-oriented person that stays on top of things, but everything from their quote process, their spec/measurement process, billing, ordering, etc.... was rife with errors, goofs and miscommunication. Literally don't have time to go into all of the issues that arose but a small slice for you: 1) They lost my quote/order initially 2) They charged me for features I requested, then left the features off of the order until I caught and corrected them (twice) - 3) They sent me the extra features without the proper assembly (omitting a back panel caused the primary cover to be assembled differently than it should have been -creating a headache for me to assemble later). 4) Heck, even the delivery guy (not their company but one they choose to do business with) seemed annoyed that he had to deliver a large package (seriously?). Just overall, very disorganized and clear they don't have smooth system/process in place to keep projects moving forward accurately. These covers aren't cheap, so for the price it left me hoping that a new/different company swoops on this market and shows them how to do it better.

This company took our money in August (and we have receipts!), guaranteed a custom product in 5-6 weeks would be delivered, and it s now December and not only have we not received the well, but they re also saying we never paid. We are having to take legal action for the hundreds of dollars they ve taken from us.
I looked for a better window well cover than those you get at a box store that don't hold up to anything and I was tired of always replacing them. I came across the Window Well Experts from a Google search and was pleasantly surprised from the initial contact to receiving the products. These covers are built really well and best part they are made in Wisconsin! Give them a try and I will bet you will be pleased as we have been and we bought ours this year.
I share the negative reviews posted by others. Order was to take 2 weeks ended up close to 4 weeks. Very fast response on telling you what to do to order but once order placed you might or might not get a response . If you get a response it will be days later. Always an excuse as to why something took so long. Velcro fasteners for mine came unstuck within a week. Fasteners are suppose to be covered by warranty. Of course the excuse was bad supply to them from another company. Have sent 3 emails about this concern and finally was told they would be sent right out. Where are they? After paying over 400 bucks for a piece of plexiglass i think those could have been sent overnight . Not real thrilled with this company.
Terrible, terrible customer service. Quoted me a price on two window well covers. Ordered them and 3-weeks later they contacted me and told me the price quote was in error about $60. I asked them to write me up another contract and never heard from them again. Decided to go with another company. Proceed with extreme caution.
Beware in dealing with this company as they are very dishonest. The customer service I received has been horrible. I have been dealing with two customer service representatives and no-one over there can help me out. I ordered two wells over a month ago and was given a timeline of 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks when it was not delivered I called and they struggled to find my order. I was told the order would be another 4-6 weeks. The next customer service rep. that helped me out told me they were expediting out two in stock wells that day. It's been over a week and still nothing has arrived! I now call and no-one can help me out and they are trying to blame the shipping company. I plan on filing against the BBB against this company as they are very dishonest and I don't even know if these wells are coming. Very disappointing experience.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Google made me select a start but ZERO stars is what they get from me. I ordered covers back in July, my card was charged in full immediately, and I was told a 2 week time frame for production. Purchasing window well covers was a TERM OF MY HOUSE SALE CLOSING!!!! They have still not shipped, 12 weeks later. Every time I've called, someone says they need to talk to "production" and will call me back. I've always had to call back again, and have been told various things from "we have a machine missing a part" to god knows what else, and was promised two different Fridays as "guaranteed for next Friday shipment." So I"m out over a grand, and the new home owners are requiring I buy elsewhere, as well they should.
The Window Well Experts are phenomenal! They offer aluminum and plastic egress window covers. I spent the extra $$ for the black aluminum with a hatch escape. It fits perfect! Customer service was fantastic! I would highly recommend this company!!!

He asked me to confirm the sizes, since it might be cheaper if one of the dimensions were slightly smaller.
I did that, and sent the dimensions by email, but never got a response.
My experience seems consistent with other reviewers. Unfortunately I will try to find another company.
This company is clearly having issues. I placed an order for a cover back in mid Oct. I have in writing that the item would arrive in 4 to 5 weeks. 11 weeks later and I still don't have any cover. I have called them multiple times and have spoken with consumer service. They apologize and say that someone will call me back but then they never call back! So frustrating! I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company that takes zero responsibility for their actions. They have made no attempt to make it right. Do not order from them. The covers may be good but the delivery issues were a nightmare. From the sound of other reviews I think they need to re-evaluate their shipping/freight policies
I'm not going to knock the product. But there is no excuse for saying that the time frame would be 4-6 weeks and then receiving it after several emails 9 weeks later.

For the price I paid ($3500 for 5 covers) the covers were junk. Once they got my money, the customer service was horrible. Timeline was 6 to 8 weeks, but took twice as long. Im not sure why I gave them such exact measurements and pictures, because they oversized and undersized all the covers within inches anyways. Also they made them however they wanted and as cheap as possible too. I will never do business with this company ever again.
This place is a scam. They get your money and then don t answer your calls or just keep asking for the same information over and over. I finally did a charge back on my credit card and then a new voice called asking me again for the same information I have already sent 4 times.
I recieved my window well with no sides. I only recieved the canopy tops so I was never sent 4 sides. I called immediately and was told that the sides where shipped and that they have pictures to prove it. I asked to see the pictures but was never shown them. I was told to look in the cardboard box again that I might of missed them. The sides are not small and weight over 20 pounds. I know this because a week of going back and forth with them they finally sent the sides to me. I put the sides on to find out the holes that connect them are not close to fitting together. Please see the pictures below my review. I emailed the pictures to the company. I am still waiting for a response after 2 days. I am done . I am sending everything back today. I wish I would have read the Google reviews before I ordered. Very frustrating !! I did make a complaint to my credit card company and the better business bureau. For anybody that may use this company be prepared to be frustrated. I made my order in late July and recieved the non fitting sides in October. I just paid $372.65 to send back the useless well covers. I should not be out so much money to send them back their product. Nobody responded to the emails showing them the problem.
