Windmill Casino and Entertainment Centre Review

Very clean and well airconditioned rooms, helpful staff. The problem though is the tv's in the rooms are ages old and looks like computer monitors. No real dining choices other than the Spur. The free internet is always a bonus.. If there was any actual usage behind it. Possibilities to become great, but feels like a road lodge on fortunately.

Really poor service, warm beer and the low quality of the menu, it's even make you eat

No play area for children other than the bowling alley.

Waist of money and time!! Even if you play allot of money, no reward back. Shameless!!!!

People playing on 2 machine on the same time reduce customer experiece. Casino dont have clear rules on this and allowed customers to make their own rules. New year I rate them only on this day a 4. Efford in making Bloem come alive again. Just not enough chairs to enjoy the evening. I left at 9 fot that reason and saw lot of other people olso leaving.

Nice Entertainment Centre to chill and also to Wine & Dine, from Rosies with its Fabulous Buffets, to the likes of Spur and Ocean Basket for the Seafood Lovers.

Terrible Hotel. Expensive. One would expect at least the bar would be open at 17h00 to enjoy a drink after a long 800 km journey - but no, the bartender went to " lunch" and will be back at 19h00!! Ridiculous! Will never go there again!!

Very nice place. Waitress was so chilled and very friendly.

The Brasserie was not impressive to me. The food was very basic, to me it's food you can cook for yourself at home. There was nothing special, it was my first visit.
I was annoyed by the security guard, I took pictures of my daughter and her husband when we went out of the restaurant. The security guard ordered me to remove the pictures from my phone, he was very rude and bully. He actually wanted to take my phone. I tried to explain that there was no sign that the camera was not allowed but he didn't listen. What kind of a place don't allow pictures to be taken in this era, pathetic.

The actual casino is great; some old but fun slot machines! Everything else about this complex let me down. Most of the places are closed.

Basic casino, poorly designed parking, thus for big events build in a lot of extra time. Really good Asian resturant on the premises.

We stayed one night due to my wife s work commitments.

We are not hotel people but this place really did impress.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and amazingly helpful.

Our room was very spacious and more than comfortable enough.

With a full bath and separate shower, ample hanging space for clothing, a comfortable couch, apart from the obvious rest nothing lacked.

TV is a bit limited, both in terms of screen size and available channels...really not the end of the world to us personally.

My biggest and only gripe would be the confusing parking area with many routes/sections closed with metal poles...really no biggy either.

The gardens are well kept and the premises as a whole seems to be very well maintained.

Beautiful place for a time off. Splendid lawn and top class facilities..generally love it

Machines displays had bad colours and not working properly eg some you can not load your money.

Visible security personel, there is enough parking. Hotel is available.

Half of the resturants here seem to have closed down and only 1 of the 12 lanes at the tenpin balling works.

For past few months the guys working at the ten pin bowling say that they will repair their lanes by the next month. The 1 lane that works is also hand packed every time. Thats so funny guys! Not insulting but just think guys. I know its not your business but a business that runs on 8.3% capacity and uses hand to do it, the business wont have thr capacity to make any money, so that would also mean that this business wont have the capacity to br able to pay your salaray in a few months time. I am not mad guys but that is for your own survival. Think about tuning your AC a few degrees up, I know its winter but getting frozen at the lanes shouldnt be part of the experience. I hope you guys can fix it, mabe get an engineer to help I dont think it would be as expensive fixes as ones mind might portray. I wish you guys best of luck.

I am not a gambler, walked into the casino and its seems oke. I guess someone should be able to enjoy it.

The ocean basket, sorry guys your vibe is really cold here and I dont think its working, the one at Loch Logan is really nice.

The Spur is quite nice here. We would recommend it and we had a good time, very friendly service etc.

Casino just about it with 2 restaurants, entertainment is falling apart in need of a major revamp.

Went gambling one night and it was a great experience..friendly staff

Disappointing. Be prepared to drag your own luggage up the stairs one step at a time while employees at reseption sits an watch.
