A wonderful experience - cannot recommend enough for families!

2020 has been a year for the record books! It seems like every time we turn a corner, something else happens to bring back the frustrations and complications. This trip to Wind River Ranch, was everything that we needed. The ranch grounds, cabins, dining hall, walking trails, were in pristine condition. I was amazed by the staff and their attention to detail. We woke up, went for our morning walk and after stopped by the cafe for hot lattes. We were surprised by a rare September snowfall and it was a delightful gift for us Floridians. The chef is classically trained, and she took delight in wowing us with amazing meals and desserts. The horses, I bonded with a beautiful mare named Amazing Grace, she was as graceful as her name and the love and care she receives is evident in her demeanor. I was so impressed by this amazing place. The icing on the cake was finding out about the work they do with our wounded warriors and first responders. This place gives back to our hero s and their families. Thank you Wind River Ranch family. I forgot my heart on your property and will need to return to try and find it. :)

This is one of my favorite places in the planet! The staff is just awesome, and the location is unbeatable. God has blessed this place and is at work here, and there is no other place like it. It's a great place to relax, eat good food, ride horses, and grow closer to the Lord. I encourage anyone who hasn't been to Wind River Ranch before to definitely try it out. You will not be disappointed ;-).

A truly peaceful place, amazing hospitality, staff, food, and views! Disconnect from the world and come here to get refreshed and full of His Spirit. Choose from the endless amount of activities to do, but make sure to ride horses, or just relax on a swing and take in the views!

From the welcoming from "Holly" and the horse escort to the check-in area, to the time we left, Wind River was nothing but top notch. Nice job Wind River folk & enjoy your well earned time off!!

This is a life changing experience that will feed you amazing quality food, help you get back to nature, and give you a path that will bring you closer to God. The staff is all top quality and the work they do for Veterans brought tears to my eyes. That hardest thing you will do there is leave, but you are not leaving alone you will find people that you bond with and be life long friends that can share the memories and help you thru life s challenges. Wind River Ranch is an amazing place! The staff was great and goes above and beyond in every facet. They truly care for the guests and take pride in the ranch. My family met many wonderful people during our stay, many new life long friendships were formed. Our hearts were filled with joy, love, laughter and faith. It was emotional to leave such great place and such wonderful new friends. By far the best trip my family and I could have ever dreamed of taking.

The Wind River Ranch and its ENTIRE staff are exceptional. From the moment you step on the Ranch until the last day you're there you will undoubtedly have the opportunity to enjoy a stay of a lifetime in God's creation. Our family has been to the Ranch a number of times and the only thing bad about it is that you will find the time goes by too fast. I would recommend WRR to anyone of my friends with zero hesitation!
