My best friend's family member was here so I went to Wilton Meadows with her to visit regularly. The facility was was always clean and well maintained, and didn't have that "nusring home" smell that I have been subjected to at other facilities. Employees were engaging and always took the time to say hello even though I was just a visitor. My friend's family member was well taken care of; good hygiene and always clean, engaged in conversation while we were there, and always had a happy demeanour.

My loved one has been at Wilton Meadows for about two years and I am more than satisfied with both his care and the communication with me. His main nurses and aids have become family to us, Ludi, Pauline, Shinika and Nicole. Before the pandemic I would visit every day and in the nice weather take him in his wheelchair for walks around the beautiful grounds and we would sit up by The Greens and enjoy the vegetable garden and view of the adjacent field. Since the pandemic Wilton Meadows has worked very hard to make visits and communication possible. Jessica in Recreation and Hugo in Nursing Support have been incredibly helpful. And whenever I have a concern I know that I can contact Ellen, the Administrator, and that she will respond quickly and resolve any issues.

This is literally THE worst place! Do not send any of your loved ones here! There is only two good things about this place the lovely ladies who run the front desk and Janine in social services. Other than that its awful. VERY unorganized, there is ZERO communication between everyone especially the "nurses" every single time I called they were never there the person at the front desk would page them and page them and no one would answer! Not very reassuring and forget it if you left a message they don't call you back! Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else other than here! Absolutely AWFUL!!!!

My wife s grandfather was here for an extended period of time. The staff was always attentive, willing to accommodate his requests and friendly. The nursing and administrative staff were always available to us when we had questions or just needed support. Everyone treated him as their own family. We are forever grateful.

A truly dreadful and offensive experience. The administration team threw my ill father out with hardly any NOTICE! Ironically, the nursing staff are really quite good and caring. Aside from them there is nothing good about this place. The wallpaper is peeling and mouldy, the halls stink of decay and the admins only want patients there to complete their revenue targets. I would not recommend putting a loved one in such a money driven institution. A change of management and renovation is required.

My mother is a resident here and I for one am glad she s in THIS facility getting the much needed care she needs.

Ellen and her staff go the extra mile to accommodate her needs as well as our family.
They re professional, compassionate and genuinely caring for the needs of the residents.
Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our Matriarch!

I have placed my father at the Meadows few weeks ago initially for short term rehab but he needed more time to recover. Being a Physician both working and living in the surrounding community I am familiar with the conditions of several such facilities.I am very impressed with the time taken by the evening Admin to inform me about the process and show me around the facility. The general cleanliness of the place and attention given to not only my dad but to other patients in the ward deserves to be complimented. May be my dad got real lucky to get a Nurse on Maple 2 evening shift from day one who already knew about various complex issues he has even before I tried to explain for my own satisfaction. Although I can see it can be a daunting task with out adequate staff delivering 24/7 care to the residents with complex problems and different needs and my dad had an occasional issues that needed to be addressed too. Overall I still am impressed and do not hesitate to use the facility if there is a need again.

If I could give this place 0.. I would!! Disgusting place! My father was here for a few weeks!! They would keep him in a wheelchair in the hall for hours. There are many wonderful places for parents to live. This place is awful. Communication.. forget it...no one called to check on my father after he had to go to hospital. Not one person. You would think they would want to know if he is ok. They don t about their patients. Don t spend 1 penny or 1 minute here!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!
