We joined Wilshire a little over a year ago because of this faith community s commitment to inclusion of all. We love our church s opportunities to serve in many many places both within the church and in the community. Our church is not a place of just talk about loving people but a place of action where members serve such people as domestic violence survivors, hungry children, refugees, victims of pay day lending and education and schools. And Wilshire is a place that celebrates beauty, art, music and drama. The Wilshire Way of doing things is unique, refreshing and open to all. It strives to reflect the love of Jesus both inside the church walls and out.

Congratulations on allowing LGBT Community to be a real part of your church. I am straight, but I cannot worship in a church which doesn't welcome everyone!

Pastor Mason is a God fearing, Christ loving man, we need more people such as pastor Mason Amen! Thank you for being such a true follower of Christ!

I have been a member of Wilshire for 17 years now and think we are a stronger church than ever. George Mason is leading us in the right direction. Wilshire has very warm and accepting members, varied programs, and is a wonderful place to learn, worship, and make friends.

Wilshire has renewed my hope that the church can be a source of transformational change for justice in the neighborhood, city, state, nation, and world. I absolutely love my church home. I talk about Wilshire all the time. I wish words were enough.

Since joining Wilshire, this is the first time in my life that I've looked forward to attending church every week. I always feel that George Mason's sermons speak directly to me and give me a renewed sense of hope. I leave feeling challenged to be my best, both for myself and for the community around me. We're thrilled to call Wilshire home.

My family has attended WBC for a couple decades because it is small enough where we know a lot of people but big enough that we're always meeting someone new on a different faith journey. I like hearing about other people's views and find it refreshing that this church lets you think about things and consider there might be shades of gray but that God loves you through the process. Also, my adult kids have returned to this church, as shown by the church's young adults who went to State Fair last year together.

George is one of the best pastors/preachers in Dallas The sermons are always up to date using the Bible teachings as a guide. He is kind , compassionate and very easy to talk to. If you need a church home please come visit us. We are a very much understanding and welcoming church. Everybody is accepting of all groups of people.

Wilshire is a place for Every Body. The staff and congregation challenge each other to think about today's issues in the context of the scripture and to explore new ideas. From children to adults, there is a place for everyone at this church.

I have not been to your church although have felt the touch of God here in Az. Thank you for continuing the second reformation of the Church. Peace to you and yours.

I have been here for Bert Truax's annual trumpet camp for three years in a row. As far as the appeal of the church building itself, it is beautiful and the people are very kind.
I have only been here for one service, but it was a great service. I loved it. I'm normally not very fond of huge churches, but this made me feel right at home. It's amazing to find a group of good, loving people in the world of hatred and strife.

Very nice church!!! Was a great moment with our lovely friend. Some nice events there.

The Early Childhood Learning Center is absolutely amazing! The teachers and administration are so loving and truly care about each child.

My brother is attending their annual Truax trumpet camp. The building is beautiful and plenty of parking. Also it's not to hot or to cold inside.

Our son's closest friends are kids he met at Wilshire but the reason why I'm excited to go church every Sunday (for the first time in my life) is because the sermons remind me of my best professors in college. You didn't mind waking up at 8:00 AM because you were going to be challenged mentally and learn something new. I'm proud to also say that we attend a church that welcomes everyone because everyone deserves to be loved.

An excellent church, reflecting the teachings of Christ and a complete understanding of the Bible. The agenda here is to follow the Bible and not our fears which tend to limit the power, love, and presence of God. Check this community out and you will be surprised. Under the guise of a typical church is a community committed to change the world in the name of Christ.

My husband and I came to this church for the first time in 1995 on a rainy and cold and messy day. He did not have his motorized wheelchair at that time and I was struggling to push him up the inside ramp to the sanctuary, when a very kind gentleman came running down to help me and pushed Neil straight up the ramp. At that moment, I did not realize that the person helping me was the pastor of the church, but in retrospect, I am not at all surprised. George is a loving and Godly pastor who goes out of his way to care for all kinds of people. Thank you Wilshire and George for being my church home and pastor! We're still members since 1995.

Very welcoming. Wilshire Baptist also take care of the community, without prejudice. This message is clear in the sermons and classes.
