I visited William and Son for the first time in December to do some Christmas shopping. Firstly I d like to comment on how immaculate the store looks and the great atmosphere I received as soon as I walked through the door. The service was outstanding, I bought numerous gifts from different departments each of the sales staff were not only kind and helpful but had superb knowledge of the stock and I found everything I needed with ease. Thank you William and Son, I will be back very soon!
Loved my experience in this luxury store. Beautiful boutique with the most fantastic products. And the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I had my engagement ring made there. They made it completely bespoke for me. I got to choose my own diamond, the designer designed a completely new ring for me and they had it made in their workshops in London, all within my budget. I got a lot more for my money then anywhere else on Bond Street... I am definitely going to get my wedding list done in this store. And hopefully buy myself a nice watch from there soon. I couldn't recommend enough.
I approached Clemence in the jewellery department with an idea for a Christmas present and she took me through the whole process from ideas to materials to fittings wonderfully and was always there to answer my questions when asked. The ring turned out perfectly. Thanks.
The most fabulous selection of gifts in the most beautiful flagship store in London! Thank you.
Today I visited this establishment and was met by a most, rude and hostile shop assistant. He demonstrated a blatant disregard of common courtesy and a shocking lack of customer service. I have my own Company and have been dealing with both members of the public , celebrities and members of the Royal family for many years, and if a member of my staff had behaved in such a manner as that assistant, severe disciplinary action would have been taken. It appears that this Company's standards have plummeted since their last positive review.
Luxury retail at its worst. Watch sales man unmotivated with an absolute negative mental state. Every single information coming from that voice was negative and not welcoming. To much trouble to ask for a price - had to find a price list. He was so arrogant that I had to ask "are you the owner of the business?" He replied: "No, I am an employee. But if you want to see the desired watch in real in this shop you have to pay the list price 30.900 GBP (!) none refundable. If you don't like that, I'll suggest you phone around some other retailers or travel to the manufacturer in Switzerland." The atmosphere in this place is toxic, without kindness; to drive any customer to a commercial competitor; without even trying. I am very sorry for such a negative mental state. Disgrace for a Royal Warrant Holder. Well, the warrant is not for watches and that is quite obvious. No passion, only shifting stock. London is full of luxury watch dealers. Stay clear. I'll put a black mark to the name W&S. 40 minutes later I was greeted by a competitor with open arms, trying to make everything possible.
Excellent experience, wonderful and diverse range of upmarket merchandise. Spoke at length with Ian Andrews in the gun room, Nanako Nakamura on jewellery and silver and a full tour of the first floor with Ashley Thomas. Great selection of boutique items at numerous price points. Beautiful guns both new and pre-owned. Especially liked a very versatile necklace that combines with a bracelet with detachable drop gem tassels. LOVELY collection of glass, board games and bedroom items. Really took to an expresso cup designed for use on a yacht.
The best curators of luxury goods bar none. And such a pleasure to visit to. You are always sure of a warm welcome even if you only want some socks!
