This place changed my life and the lives of so many I went to school with. The leadership core that is implemented in the curriculum prepares students for life. Those that by into it, no doubt experience success long term.

I was recruited to play soccer at William Penn. The coach assured me that the school, facilities and surrounding towns would be just as worth it as the opportunity to play collegiality. I was excited about the opportunity but when I arrived all I was met with was disappointment. The facilities were a joke. We were a college team practicing and playing on one of the worst fields I had ever seen. The buildings on campus are worse. Once I was in the student center and the ceiling actually started falling. There were broken ceiling tiles all over the floor. All of the buildings are filthy and infested with bugs. Even worse than the facilities was the actually education. I had one professor who was actually competent. The rest were a complete joke. 75% of the student population wouldn't have been able to graduate from my high school and so the professors who actually can teach, teach down to that level. If the professors were bad then the faculty is downright worthless. Most departments such as financial aid, counseling, business office, etc are full of people who hate their job. These people are meant to help students but instead anyone who will go into them are made to feel like they are a complete burden on those working. They are not helpful and occasionally downright hostile. Even the dean of the school poses a problem for students. For both myself and other students that I know the dean was incredibly hostile and almost made us pay a lot of money in fees because he tried to get involved in situations he had no business being a part of and over complicating them. William Penn remains in business solely because they offer students the opportunity to play sports. However they prey on students who are afraid to miss out on that opportunity. There are dozens of schools in the surrounding areas alone that will offer students that same opportunity and so much more. These schools have better facilities, friendlier people, and a better education. I lasted one semester at William Penn before leaving and I am not the only one. Out of 45 players on the soccer team (I only use this example because they are the only statistics I know for sure) 13 will return. That number is far too low. If that many students are leaving after one semester there is obviously something wrong with that school.
