Love the Safari! We go about once a week, since we have a family membership and every time we go it seems like the animals are doing something different. No two visits are exactly alike. It's our happy place!

This place was great. Had a blast experiencing all the different amenities. Perfect place to spend the day with kids or just look around at all the great animals. Prices were what you'd expect, but overall a good value.

I am very impressed by the staff, the volunteers, the ability for the public to safely observe wild animals. Overall, I believe the management is doing an excellent job with this park. My deep thanks for your work! I will be back.

Got a good discount with my zoo membership. When you go, drive through twice. Animals move around and you may see some the 2nd trip you didn't see on the 1st trip. The workers there said it's best to get there when they open. That's the coolest part of the day and their feeding time so all the animals will be out and about.

-We saw giraffes up close, rhinos super close, buffalo, white & brown deer, ostrich. Even saw some bulls eating at the eating station. We tried getting their attention with a red shirt but it didn't work lol should probably be thankful for that!

-The bears were a little far away but they were having a blast playing in a pool of water with water spraying into it.
-Elephants definitely looked a lot happier than Portland Zoo and had more space to roam.
-The lions and tigers looked happy and healthy, and though they are caged up they have some pretty good space to run around in and grass/shade.

I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention a few animals but this was a great place. They even have a mini zoo/eating area inside!

Explore wildlife and get close to animals while comfortably seating in your car, a great experience where you are inside while they are outside! The place has easy access, the price is fair for the amount of maintenance they have. If you are planning to travel with your pet read the website carefully, as you either have your pet in a knell inside your car or you will have to leave your friend in one of the parks public knells. Great place for a fun family adventure! Was able to get in right when it opened so it allowed for plenty of time to stop and gawk at whatever animals you wanted. I wasn't able to see the hippo or the monkeys but I don't blame that on the farm at all. Animals will do what they want. The emu and crane are so cute...they will approach the car. I was bummed out they didn't have the $5 food cups to feed the animals. Would definitly recommend this place! It takes about 2 hours to drive through the whole safari!!

This place is wonderful for a family trip. We stopped by along the way on our road trip to CA. It's not far from I-5 and it gives the closest wild animal experiance in the PNW. You drive your car on designated paths while animals walk around. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Got a groupon, had a great time. Will make this an annual excursion. If you can't have fun here, something is wrong with you. Half of the animals were species I had never seen in person, and I've never been so close to a bear, tiger, or lion. Very cool.

Did the holiday light show night show. Got an unexpected up close rhino encounter and saw more of the cheetahs than usual. The special glasses on sale weren't the standard rainbow ones they have holographic shapes. I ended up with giraffes and my daughter got snowflakes. Really did make some things 3D. I included a picture of the rhinos, they seemed a lot more interested in the cars than when we have gone during the day.

I loved seeing all the different kids of animals my kids enjoyed it also down fall I would say is we didn't have time to see all the animals in the walk through area because they were closing and the gift shop prices were a little high. But the experience was still a lot of fun. There was a couple crazy drives that were driving over the speed limit and trying to scary some animals out of the road came pretty close to hitting them. But thank God they didn't over all wonderful time and a lot of pictures of different animals great family outting.

We HIGHLY recommend this place for you and your family.

We set up home-base for our vacation at Seven Feathers RV Resort for the week. We had an adventures planned each day - a day trip in each direction. On Tuesday, we went to the Wildlife Safari. It was worth every penny and most of our family s favorite adventure of the trip.

Our oldest son is disabled so the idea of driving though was perfect. We saw any animal you could want to see. We had an incredible experience with a giraffe. We fed animals. We laughed, screamed, and watched in awe as our kid s faces lit up!

If you are near Winston, you MUST do this!! Please take your family there!! You will not regret it!! We cannot recommend this adventure highly enough!!

This place is amazing. First, let's take a walk through the village. The village has a flamingo, an Egyptian goose, a cheetah with a dog as best friend. There is an island of lemurs. We left the best for last, this is a self-guided tour of the roaming zone. We saw elephants, bears, giraffes, wildebeest, rhinos, elk, deer, foals, cranes and hippopotamus. Perfect place!!!

Used to live in Roseburg, Oregon when I was a kid and I always enjoyed going through the drive thru loop as well as the regular zoo. There's so much variety in what there is to see and do. If you're in the area, do NOT miss this it truly is a great place to go.

I was the most excited to see the Elephants, it was what I was looking forward to the most. The view from the car was horrible at every angle no matter what way the elephants were facing or what part of the road you were on. I was extremely disappointed, couldn t even at least get a good picture.

Took the family (my wife had been here when she was younger, but it was mine and our boys' first time) and they absolutely enjoyed the park. My youngest loved riding the camel. And we all enjoyed driving around the park and seeing all the animals. The staff was friendly.

What a very enjoyable experience. A great way to get away from every day life and what is going on in the world today. An easy way to get out and enjoy and social distance with out being stressed. This place is a little gem for those who love wildlife and the great outdoors. So many animals to enjoy. You can take your time driving through. No hurry. There is plenty of room for those who don't like to stop and look to pass by. They do have a little pull off with vending machines and porta potties and you can get out and stretch your legs and just look around and enjoy the view. It is well kept, staff/employees in every look out tower watching! All the staff/employees were very friendly and smiled with their eyes and waved. The gift shop was nice and had plenty to choose from. The area you are able to walk around and enjoy the animals. Plenty for children to do. Don't be in a hurry. Don't forget snacks and drinks so you can just enjoy the drive.

Very cool experience! I would recommend to anyone. Right off I5. Very interactive, you can even feed the animals from your door. You can really tell that they care about there animals. Very friendly staff. If you have a dog or cat, you will have to put them in a kennel provided at the front gate. It's about a 45 minute to hour tour depending on how interactive you want to be. They charge for a lock for the kennel. Good price for what you get. The animals come right up to your window.

I have to admit that I was very skeptical before coming here. But my wife as she usually does convinced me and I really enjoyed myself. The animals were actually very entertaining and when you do the drive you get really close to the animals and some of them will even come up to your window which calls for a very great time. I would definitely recommend. You can also do an encounter which I would definitely recommend as well it is worth the money and it also goes to a great cause!

Great experience and absolutely worth doing if you haven't been here yet. We went fairly slow and it took about 90 minutes to drive through the park. The giraffe encounter was fantastic, up close and feeding the giraffe out of our hands. We spent close to 5 hours here between the park, encounter, camel and train rides, and walking through to see the other animals.

While the park is nice, I was provided conflicting info and overcharged. I bought tickets for 4 ($20 each) to the feeding of the cheetah and maned wolf plus 2 paw paintings by the maned wolf ($20 each) for a total of $120. At the end, the maned wolf only completed one paw painting and the staff that feed the animal said that I can go back to the office and pick the second paw painting from the extra ones that they have in the office. Then when we went back to the office, the staff there said that I would have to pay the full price to the gift shop for the second paw painting. This part is ok for me as they have no control over the animals and I accepted their suggestion for a refund of $20. However, they said they have to keep my original receipt of $120 for the refund and ended up charging me $20 more instead of refunding me $20 which I found out a week later after leaving the US. While each of these events can be single misunderstanding, unexpected incidences, or simple mistakes, when they all happened to me in my only visit, they had sort of tainted my memory for that day.

It is joyful, nice and friendly, lot of animals, pet or wild, you may feed goats, dears, and some other creatures.
The very big elephant may wash your car for free, or you drvie next to the largest giraffe, so be prepared.
This safari allows you to drive in, unlike San Diego zoo.
We been there from 10am until 6pm, then we drove to North Bend for next day where we went to Oregon dunes and had short swim in the ocean.
It was nice trip, worth to do it again.

Great place to take the family especially right now with social distancing since you can stay in your car the entire time...but because of the amount of folks who showed up today, a 15 minute check in took an hour and the 1.5 hour safari took 3hrs...but otherwise we enjoyed ourselves.

Most special place I've ever been, the animals are free to wander, with the exception of the dangerous ones. But torwards the end we purchased feeding cups for five bucks and fed the deer and the ostriches. Would highly recommend ,they even offer pet crates if you need to leave the family pet behind. Have fun!

Went with the family over the weekend, (May 2015) I was so excited. But, when driving through, the rhinos were TOO far away, the lion loop was closed, the cheetahs were "mating" therefor off limits and the tigers pens were so hard to see.
Sure, the staff can not help where the animals choose to lay... But, the huge gaps between the animal area could be spruced up a bit to avoid the wasted space, and time, feeling one gets.

All around, it was fun and if you watch your $.. its a good family time :)

No bathrooms!! Why would you leave a bunch of honey buckets around the place but not let anyone use them? The line gets really long and it takes a few hours and then when you drive up to the honey buckets they just say they re for staff only and tell you you have to drive all the way to the end. Don t drink 3 days before you go here so you don t get stuck like us

I've been going to Wildlife Safari since I was around 7 or 8 yrs old. It's an amazing experience that left a lasting impression on me and my desire to work with animals.

The reason I'm giving it two stars is because of the way management treats people who want to give their time and effort to the place, for free nonetheless. I'm doing everything I can to gain experience with animals, and the way I'm blatantly ignored has made me lose a lotta respect for this place.

Animals are still worth the price of admission. However, expect nothing more than below average help when you wanna follow a passion of working with animals.

Answer to response from Wildlife Safari:
It's ridiculous I had to come on to Google to write a bad review for you to finally contact me and let me know about my volunteer application. Be better towards people that show a genuine interest in wanting to be apart of your team.

The staff are friendly, the park is well kept and layed out perfectly for touring. We had an Ostrich come right up to the window of the car. We didn't use or visit any of the facilities but feel that the price we paid for the drive through tour was well worth it. A must see if you're driving through southern Oregon.
