3/13/2024 I live in this park in Riverview,FL 33569. 10731 El Paso Dr, Riverview, FL 33569 The park management is lazy and cheap and does not fix things. Allan Nash who is above them is just as bad. They do not keep the park clean. Overgrown shrubbage, Dumpster area not open to residents to dump trash. Security gate broke and they won't fix it. (Did I say cheap cheap cheap) Hot tub gets sand from an underground leak and the jets do not pump water as they should and water level constantly drops. Wilder is aware and does nothing. They do not trim overgrown trees. Park management has lied to me on a few ocassions and also to another resident that I am aware of, making excuse's as to why things don't get addressed. I could go on. I would not move here again. Do not buy here. Stay away. You'll regret it if you move here. Drive thru and speak to residents for confirmation. You might want to steer away from any Wilder Corporation LLC park you find if this one is an example of how Wilder is run.

Extremely Poor Managers here at Hacienda Heights in FL.
The rudest most irritating person you will ever meet. He will bombard you with insults and is so abrasive you will find distain for this person right way.
It's supposed to be a nice place to live not a Nazi camp. There are some nice normal people in hear and then you have all the complainers. People come here to die and complain, complain, complain about nothing.

We have stayed at Wilders Blue Parrot Rv Resort in Lady Lake, Fla for about 15 years or more. We normally stay the month of April. Nov. 2018 we decided to stay for about a week or so before moving on. We did everything we usually do from arriving around 12:00 or 12:30 or so to picking the same site or area in the campground. As we entered the office to check in we were told it would cost us $10.00 because we were checking in early. First time for this. The site was ready, no one was on it. Next we found no cable TV. Then we found that all the picnic tables were removed. We enjoy eating outside on occasion but not there. I don't know of any RV facility that has no picnic tables. As for the early arrival charge, maybe they have a rule about that but we have never been charge before. Are they that hard up for a little extra money. Don't know the situation with the cable provider but it might help to know this ahead of time.

Even if it is the last rental available on earth, if it is through or associated with Wilder Corporation you should avoid it like its ebola. The policy at all of the Wilder RV parks is if you don't like it leave.

Wilders latest venture into the land of ignorance is to force all residents to remove anything attached to the ground, including TV dishes. Since 95% of the mobile homes can't have a dish attached to the side or roof they are now left with no access to TV. Through Wilders ignorance they have deliberately depressed the resale value of all yearly residents trailers.

I accidentally rode into a security sensor at the exit gate with my bike at hacienda heights mobile home park in Riverview. I did not see it sticking out on the small side walk and I did not realize I had hit the sensor. Yesterday I was told by the park management that I will be charged 467.50 for the technician to come out and adjust the sensor. The sensor was not broken, just bent. I was initially told I would have to make a lump sum payment but I pleaded with Management to give me a payment plan of 12months. I have not even received a copy of the itemized invoice Which management has decided I am responsible for. I thought we
were in a pandemic where more consideration is appreciated. I have to help family members who are not working. It has been very stressful. I don t know how they can charge me full price and then turn around at the end of the year and claim it on their taxes.

Hi this is my first season at the blue parrot rv park.
I made my reservations back in September 2018
I was to arrive January 1, 2019 which I did
and they promised me a pull through.
And there would be no problem.
I Drive a 40 ft class A Motor home
They took me to site 179 it was large enough for about a 30 ft rv
after I got it maneuvered in I was right up Against the concrete pad on my right side , and about 6 from the OLD electric poll. Then when I went to pull out my awning I found that it would not even come out half way.becuse of a tree. I saw red so I went to front office and ask nicely to be moved to the next site over.
and just treated me like a low life. And I had no say so of what I should get for my $730.00 per month.
They also think for the 730.00 I should clean up my own yard ( I have never had to rake up my space in any other park I have stay at. )
If they told me this back September I would have never stayed here.

On the plus side the residents of the park are fantastic I miss them already now that We have left.
Love John & christine
(Ps. Wilder get your head out of your butt you have a gold mind there. )

Jeff Osborn verbally accosted me(which is assault charge being filed with the Hildago Police against him) for reporting that the water was off because the maintenance man had run over the water pipes. He was on his golf cart and yelled at him that the water was gushing out of the pipes 2 lots over and he yelled back "is that the way you want to do it?" I said that the water is off. He started calling me names and threatening me with eviction. "He said I want you out now!" I called the Hildago County police and they are sending a police officer over for me to file an charge of assault.

Wilder Corp., Clearwater put up a barrier wall due...

Wilder Corp., Clearwater put up a barrier wall due to erosion of storm drainage ditch which was about six feet from the back of my mobile home. This was done in April 2016. It was filled in with dirt to level off the ground. In June 2016 after heavy rains, the ground started to split and the barrier wall was leaning toward the ditch. In September 2016 it got worse. I informed Wilder Corp. of the situation and in October 2016 their contractor came and haphazardly tried to fix the situation in the cheapest way possible. It is a complete mess and hazard situation. To this day, Dec. 27th it has not been rectified, after several calls to Wilder Corporation. Evidently they don t seem to care about keeping their properties up to par , yet they continue to raise our lot rent every year.

We had a family emergency and had to leave early from our reserved stay at Fort Myers RV Resort. We were told that there were no refunds and no exceptions. We had several friends that stayed the remainder of the month. We were told that 3 hours after we left our camp site, it was taken by someone else the entire length of stay. I would think that since they received double rent, they could have reimbursed us some of our $600.
I wrote to Wilder Resort 5 weeks ago and have not received a response.

Came to Florida in Oct 2018 after spending 6+years in Az! Settled in a RV park that was not really to our liking so we went exploring and found Southern Aire in Thonotossa Fl. We immediately felt that this was to be our "new" winter home. The women in the office - Linda --was extremely pleasant to us and we felt we would fit in to this park. We pd our $275.00 Deposit (in oct) with intentions of moving in around Jan 1. We left on a cruise with friends and upon our return to the area Nov 12 we received a call from our daughter - who is a single parent informing us that our granddaughter-(15-) had attempted suicide and had been admitted to a mental health facility in our home area. We felt the need to head home as this was our daughter (a single parent) whom we felt needed us!! We drove to Southern Aire and again spoke ( approximately Nov 13) with Linda informing her of our situation. Again she was very nice and sympathetic and stated she would talk to her regional manager and see if she could get our deposit returned. We advised her that if she needed paperwork proving our granddaughter was hospitalized we could provide it and were told this was not necessary. Linda called us the next day and informed us she had spoken with her DM and they would return our deposit.. We were very appreciative and thanked Linda. we returned home on the 15th leaving our RV in storage with friends-- hoping that if the situation at home improved we could return. Fast forward to December 2nd - as I had not received my deposit back I made a call to Southern Aire and was ainformed by the manager that there had been a bit of a snafu with the corporate office and that our check would be out soon. Several weeks later another call was made and this person stated they would check with corporate to see what was the hold up and return call. No call ever came!! By this time (mid jJan) we knew we would not be returning to Fl this winter so we flew into Tampa to pick up our RV and while there we attended the Fl RV show in Tampa. While there we came upon a Wilder parks booth and spoke with a gentleman who said he was a member of corporate. I explained to him exactly what had transpired since Nov and the promises that had been made. He promised to look into it, next day I received a call from Linda again at Southern Aire trying to explain away the problem with getting our check. However this time she says " has anyone ever asked you for documentation about your granddaughter?? I was seriously taken aback. #1 We had asked on the 1st day we spoke to her if that would be necessary and #2 I at that moment felt - they are accusing us of lying about such a awful event!! I agreed to try and get some form off documentation and send it. I did provide paperwork to Linda in early Feb. Today is March 8 and I still have received NOTHING from Southern Aire or the Wilder RV corporation.

My advise to you would be stay away from Southern Aire and stay away from any Wilder RV park. If they go to these extremes to keep $ 275 what else could they do?? I have no room in my life for anyone who just tells 1 lie after another!! Shame

3/27/19

I have provided ALL documents as requested by Wilder Resorts doing business as Southern Aire-- as of this date 3/27/19 I have received no further communication from them. I will NEVER stay at a Wilder Resort facility and will inform my RV friends to beware of this company. Broken promises and lying to consumers will not sit well with many RVers.

Somebody named Debbie is a supervisor or something over at Hacienda Heights in Riverview. I have lived here 4 years now and have never met her, but it is clear that she does not have the best interest of either the residents nor Wilder corp. it is little things, like allowing unrestricted smoking at our pool. Lots of residents in this park are elderly and often have health issues that are excerabeted by exposure to second hand smoke. What would it hurt to confine to a corner of the pool area.

This is our fourth year at this rv park however this year is extremely disappointing. We have always recommended this park because of the wonderful people here but also the wonderful pool and spa. This year however they have lowered the temp of the pool and it is just to cold to enjoy. The spa had been reduced to an area with warmer water than the pool which only serves as an area to warm up in after the cold pool. The water jets have been removed so it really isn't a spa any longer. The guests are extremely disappointed and we have not heard one good review on the pool this year where in previous years the pool has been one of the greatest assets to the park. I fear many of the guests will be looking to go else where in the coming years. This is in regards to Southern Aire in Thonotasassa,FL. We would like to know if ALL Wilder parks have made this change to their parks.
