Often helpful, often friendly, other times condescending, overcharging, and disorganized. Multiple times I was expecting a call back and it never came. Another time I ordered touch up paint. Waited two weeks called every few days to see if it came in, they said they would call me, they didn't. I called again they said "oh yea, it's here, came in two days ago" I drive down to get it. Waited 30 minutes for them to find it, "sorry we sold it to someone else".
They are always trying to sell you another procedure, they will try to convince you something is wrong then urge you the best course of action is to have them fix it. They will promise that you will get a good deal on parts because they get a discount from Napa and pass the savings on to you, except each time I compare the cost of authentic parts from Napa to the prices they charge it is about double the price at Wilde. The rediculous up charge is one thing, but the straight faced lie is another. Or confident incompetence. Not sure which it is. I do trust and appreciate a specific and very competent mechanic that, when available, works on my vehicle. He is great. The advisors are probably good people but working with them has been a turbulent experience, one I am not happy to pay a premium for. I have paid for services I did not ask for, been convinced to pay for something to solve a problem, it did not solve, and asked for a break bleed and gotten a break flush, which still left air in the system. All of these mistakes cost me money and or another trip to Wilde, and with another trip to Wilde comes another chance for them to kindly find a problem they can fix. I will not completely stop working with Wilde, there are benefits, but I will always be cautious and skeptical of them. I hope my experiences and perceptions are wrong, I hate not trusting people.
