It felt good to finally meet mechanics that did not try to price gauge me just because I'm a woman. They really took their time to educate me on the services they were providing and proper maintenance...

I've been going here for years, they're always willing to help. Service is great and parts are priced better than fair. It's great when you find a shop that will talk about your problem and even give you advice on how to fix it or setup time to fix it for you. Plus they will work on all brands of motorcycles, scooters, atv, and utv. It's a one stop shop!

Anytime I have any questions for problems with my night train I take it to them and they answer and solve any problems I have. A couple of time they have warned me about something that is going out and I have them repair it before it leaves me stranded. Born and all the other workers are very knowledgeable and I would recommend this shop to anyone. Billman

Widman Motorcycle Services....has always taken care of my needs. This last time....I was having issues with my rear master cylinder and they attempted to bleed it but it was shot.....40 minutes of their time invested and didn't charge me one dime. They ordered me a master cylinder rebuild kit (that I will install myself).

Best damn motorcycle mechanics around.

Best damn motorcycle mechanics around.

Another shop on the east side had my kids Kaw 750 for 2.5 months. Charged me $650 to rebuild the carbs and still the exact same problem, power loss at 4000 RPM
They called me and said we can't figure it out, come get it.
Sorry about your $650......Really ?

Brought it to Widman, they figured it out in a quick minute.
I'll NEVER take it anywhere else
THANKS

The first experience I had with this shop was pleasant and professional. I had my tires replaced, along with a new chain and sprockets. Service on all of this was finished in only 4 days from the time I brought my bike in.

Moving on to the second time I've taken my bike there. My fuel pump went bad a couple weeks after I had it serviced at their shop. And I had to have it towed somewhere, what better place than where I JUST had my bike serviced. So I did that. It took them OVER A WEEK to diagnose the bad fuel pump. After 6 days I called them and they told me the bike was "on the lift right now, and I have no other information for you yet." The next day I called since I hadn't heard from them to ask what the update was and I was told "we will be looking at your bike tomorrow."

What?! So they lied about even looking at it.
Then after the problem was figured out and I gave them the okay to order the OEM fuel pump and have it replaced. 2 weeks after that, on a Friday, I called to ask about it and was told "the part will be in today and you will be riding it out this afternoon" 2 hours later I got a call and was told the part was not delivered and you will have to wait AT LEAST until next Wednesday.

So at this point, my bike has been in their shop for a month and I have no idea what's happening with the repair. It's especially disappointing that I've missed out on a month of perfect riding weather. I'm not sure how they can stay in business when the turnaround is this long, who would want to return after an experience like this.

I might update after I finally get my bike back so people know how long it actually took for them to replace a fuel pump.

Took me a bit of searching through STL area motorcycle shops/mechanics before finding Widman. Their prices are honest and beat out everywhere else I have looked in the city as well as they have a great staff and a solid selection of parts for repairs or motorcycle maintenance.

Bought a new (to me) scoot recently and needed an inspection; Steve and Norm got me in right away, were fantastic to work with and took great care of me - as it turned out my battery died on the spot! Made me a solid deal on a new battery (instead of trying to pinch me) and got me out the door in no time.

Being there brought back memories as a kid - used to go there with my father when he rode/raced enduro. The place is still cool as hell!

But, hey, don't take my word for it: go visit them and see for yourself!
