Wickford Boat Rentals Review

Wickford Boat Rentals made our day on the water better than we could have imagined. The boat they rented to us was brand new, clean, and well kept. It was SO roomy. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and clearly well-prepared. David, the owner, was so helpful. I had a million questions when booking and he answered every one patiently and didn't make me feel silly for asking them. They also made it super easy for us by making it so we never had to dock the boat. They drove us out to a transient dock, left us to go on our way, and we picked him up on the way back so he could dock us in the slip. This procedure took SO much pressure off us. We can't wait to rent again!

I highly recommend this company. We love boating and visited Newport. Dave delivered our boat as promised. The boat was exactly as advertised. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Great equipment (lots of selection) and outstanding service. Dave and his team made for a fabulous day on the bay for us (we took a power boat which was in pristine condition). There are so many places to see starting from Wickford - we anchored for a swim and then motored to a wonderful lunch restaurant hat were only a short ride from the base. This is by far the best way to enjoy Narragensett Bay. I've used other boat charters but Wickford Boat rentals has been the best by far.

I rented a boat last weekend while my good friend was visiting from out of state. From the moment I first communicated with Dave I knew I was making the right decision by choosing Wickford. The service was exceptional! The prices were amazing and these wonderful people treated me as if I were family! I highly recommend this business and I will definitely be coming back!

My family has been renting boats from Dave, Wakefield boat rental, on our annual family vacation to Newport for the past 3 years. Dave and his knowledgeable team are so helpful. The boats are immaculately clean, maps and suggestions of where to go based on your vision for your boat trip are provided. Imagine having a speed boat and zipping around the bay on a beautiful sunny day... now imagine docking at a restaurant in Newport, having a great meal or to go meal to enjoy in your boat and hopping back on your boat to enjoy the rest of your day. It s truly magical! I couldn t imagine trusting any other rental company for my family s vacation.

Rented the 22 foot sailboat and everything was awesome.

Brand new boat and motor, ran great. Service was good. No gas dock at marina.

The boat was awesome to handle, Dave knows his stuff, and the views were awesome. This is the way to see the area the way people have for centuries. Highly recommend!

Rented the 249 Seafox Avenger for a Sunday with some friends in August, had a fantastic time on the water. I highly recommend this boat! My favorite part was the misters! Awesome tough on a hot Sunday afternoon! The staff was amazing, can't wait to rent it again next year!

I haven't rented one of there boats yet but I have looked at then very nice and we'll taken care of.
