Store that sells non-perishable items close to or passed it sell by date at low prices. Very good value for money
My daughter loves this place. For what you need, use, want, it's Good if you can get a parking. A must for loads of visitors.
Crowded, no actual bargains, and shopping lanes. Everything is squeezed in. Staff leave their trollies in the way. I truly hate going to this place.
Great place to purchase cheaper food that is nearing or at its Best Before Date food. The major problem with the facility is space. The products are jam packed into a small foot print and when there are alot of people it can become difficult to maneuver around the floor.
Great variety of different foods at a very affordable price.
Very good deals on food. Some are expired or short-dated but still worth it!!
The best place if you are on a budget, always has bargens to be found
Always has bargains, especially for bulk buying. Just need to check the best-before dates for certain food types and every other week may have different stuff or specials so it's really a lucky dip every time we go. Generally good service considering everyone looks young, but one time we had a new person ring up our shopping and she definitely gave us the wrong change and not sure how since the register tells you what the change is on the screen.
Great value but always congested, more product needs to be out than in boxes. Also staff shouldn't be bringing stock on the floor during peak periods and blocking aisles. Check outs also slow..
South Auckland's secret treasure trove for the serious bargain hunter.
Fantastic with Low prices. Mark this store on your google Maps as your first stop shop for Food, crafts and all assort of items. Love the fresh Focaccia Bread.
Also a bargain to be found. Prefer going early mornings as it then not as busy.
Happy Treasure Hunting! Never seizes to surprise me!
Good to pop in every now and again. Store is always busy.
Too busy at all times not enough Staff for check out and impossible parking causing Lon queue up to the main road where other cars goes too fast.
Social distancing in the Ynot Shop is PERFECT. You can get around easily - normally it's mayhem ...
The store is quite busy and the narrow isles makes for lots of excuse me's. You get some good deals but you end up buying so many unnecessary items as you believe it to be cheap, especially sweets, chocolates and cookies:) Check sell by dates carefully
The prices are nice and cheap but when ever you go there is no where to park and it is always crowded in the shop
Very good if you looking for party supplies, art or cake decorating, huge costume section, etc
Great to stock up on goodies for kids and some other grocery items.
Great savings for all. Keep up the good work keeping prices down.
Why not shop here it's your one stop food shop in bulk order plus you get a free tub of ice cream depending on stocks too love it
Some really good deals here.. Great for kids lunches, friendly staff, only real let down is lack of parking
I always go in not knowing what I'm gonna get, but i always walk out with a a good bargain (usually sweets lol). Always pretty busy. Best time to go is during the day Mon-Friday.
Why Not does one thing - sell food near, or past it's best buy date. It has some amazing bargains... But is difficult to navigate, often very busy, sometimes expensive, and in many cases unhealthy food.
But we go there every week. The place is crazy - but the place to go if you are on a budget.
Crazy fun. Bargains like you have never seen. The crazy priced is because of short dated products, but if you can consume quickly, cannot best this place!
Heaps of good deals/specials on any given day! Great place to shop in bulk or even just in general!
Can get really packed especially during the weekends.
Parking at these times can be hectic.
Limited parking, rotating items for sale but always able to find a bargain. Just be wary of some confectionary as it will have passed use by date (hence cheap price) and may not taste the best. Perfect for the bargain hunters.
Awesome place to shop at everything is cheap and this shop has everything from food, clothing, cosmetics, laundry and household cleaners I give this shop a thumbs up
Good specials would recommend anyone to go there if they can't afford the normal shop I've spent 190 and my trolley was over full
Can score some great deals here.
Parking is a bit of a pain however
Good shopping but would like better system with check outs had to miss one lane ha ha
Great cheap shopping if on limited budget cant wait to go again when back up in Auckland
Y not, xactly. A huge variety of cheap Lil knick knacks n food n goodies. Be prepared to battle da human traffic during busy times tho. Happy shopping.
Why (k)not? Let me tell you why not! A friend recommended this place to me. It was so crowded and the isles were very narrow so you felt like you had to decide and move quickly, otherwise you would be holding people up.The lighting is bad so it is hard to read the signs and prices. All this would be acceptable if the food was ok and cheap but it's not very cheap. The only things that are cheap are nasty sugary drinks and cereals. I spent $117.00 and I have thrown away most of what I bought. The parmesan is not dated,it has a few weeks left, but is mouldy. The unusual brand nutella is awful, it has stevia but the lighting was so bad I couldn't read the label. I bought some cereal that just tastes like chemicals. Flour and basic dry goods were no cheaper than pak 'n' save and mostly dated. Of the $117.00 worth of groceries I bought I had to throw everything away apart from two 500g bags of frozen prawns, four packets of tim tams and some dishwasher tablets. So of a total of $117.00 only $37.00 worth was ok. So overall a huge disappointment and waste of money.
There are some real bargains if you dont mind buying some stuff that is near, at or past the recommended use by date. Stuff thats quite okay as there is a some leeway with recommended use by dates.
Good cheap produce. Can get very crowded and has limited parking. Mostly junk food.
Everything is set out for you so no need to bother staff, who buy the way are always working. The products you see in aisles are what's available for purchase. Checkout staff are always friendly.
too many Indians, expired and cheap food everywhere.
Good staff, great prices, always a bargain 5 stars from me guys
If you visit this place and don't come away without at least half a trolley full of goodies then you must not have been in the mood to shop for bargains.
Good product range, with very good pricing can get very busy though but worth it
Was quick in and out.
Kinda confusing
Too much traffic
Always good, wish the shop was a bit bigger so people can move around each other better. Otherwise its great
One of the best shop in Auckland with huge variety of end of line and near expiry date items. Some of the prices are nearly 1/4 the of the normal retail price.
Search or low price groceries? This is the place, but watch out for the expiry or best before date before you buy
Amazing prices
A must to for backpackers
For me; on a budget . The Why Knot outlet is Da Bomb
My $30.00 worth will last me jst
Ovr 2wks. Kia ora Why Knot
Shop. And a Big Merry Christmas to all your friendly staff. Thanks frm Lily in the hood sth AK .
When running low on cash for grocories, best place to go.
Always a bargain. I shop for the church community pantry.. It is just prefect.. Have everything that I needs to stock up and share.
Most of the items are expired and the ones not expired are expensive.
Second best place on earth, especially when you have freakin' 3 elephants to feed!
