More rules than a prison. If countdown etc can do without these ' rules' then why is this place so special?

Great prices and sometimes you get free stuff but you need to be aware of the expiry date. We love to shop here , best bargains ever!

Awesome place for cheap and inexpensive grocery items, I always leave with heaps of goodies and enjoy visiting. Can be busy at times so go early also has pretty good parking. Highly recommend

Has alot to buy but not always there when u go to shop other wise bumper.

So many good deals. Can get a weeks worth of food for about $60 or less (family of 4). Every time I get to the checkout I'm surprised how cheap the total is.

They sell mostly expired products without any warning

I enjoy coming to shop here. The prices are always really good you can always find a good bargin.

The only down side is the customer service. You're not gauranteed to come in and find a friendly face especially if they're having a bad day. So much for professionalizm.

Always good for a cheap bulk shopping i like to gt the lifs lunchs here when i nd ti aav can get in bulk and last awhile and it's cheap. I also like to have a look at there cloths there cheap as well

Good selection of bargain groceries - end of line items or close to "best by" date.

Great goods/prices, way insufficient parking, blame the council for that. Interior too small for the stock levels and lots of patience needed getting past people and trolleys.

Smaller outlet compared to other outlets. Lower pricing on products available. Not much range and choice.

NO WARRANTY ON PLASTIC BOXES IT'S A JOKE POLICY. I bought I 32 plastic cube boxs and I realise one box has cracked from the bottom. I ask the counter to replace it and she refused because their policy it says no refund or replacement. I understand food no refund or replacement that's OK but plastic boxes. Your policy is a sh*****T and you should read the consumer guarantees Act.

After many years I still make special trips to go here. Can always find some great specials is you look. Low prices mean not much spent on looking flash which I'm happy with because it keeps prices down. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Love going there to get a bargain. Other shoppers need to learn how to be polite though and not push and shove and also leave some stuff for others to buy rather than fill their trolleys and sell it on in their dairies etc.

It's AMAZINGLY CHEAP! Dated goods like export quality ice cream tubs originally destined for Japan buy 3 for $5. They're $20 each in Japan (according to my Japanese flatty).
Basically fill your trolley with $500 to $600 worth of frozen meat, cereals, junk food, dairy, coffee, you name it for $300.
It's the kind of place that buys up seconds (like cafe trays of chocolate brownies that were cut wrong or mousse cakes where mouse is too hard or too soft, which cafes sell for $7 per piece) and sells cheap ($15-$25 for the above mentioned browny tray.
Value for money!!!

Forget all the sales at the Supermarket, go to the Why Knot Shop in East Tamaki Road. If you're on a budget then this is the place to go. Note you will still need to get all your fresh vegies from your local. Check this place out. You won't be disappointed.
