So far this is a garbage product. For something so expensive I expected this thing to be polished and perfect.

My device just flat out doesn t work. It fails on the initial update every time and we tried pairing to my wife s phone as her Whoop paired without a problem, but no love. Waiting to hear back from support on what to do with this thing.

My wife s worked out at first but after test pairing mine strap to her app her whoop no longer works. We ve started from scratch multiple times but it just won t connect anymore.

The instructions we received left a ton to be desired. There seems to be very little information on how to use this device or the data it s supposed to give you.

This product might be good someday but they have a long way to go.

Also, is it just me or do the 1st 3 5 star reviews just scream employees or fake accounts?

Whoop is different than any other fitness tracker I ve used before and I have owned both a FitBit and an Apple Watch. The emphasis on health rather than over performing and undernourishing is incredible. I m so stoked to own this. Also the customer service has been amazing too!

Don't believe shipping time. I placed an order April 10th, supposedly shipped April 14th. UPS has no record of receiving the order with the tracking number. Very efficient email reply from Whoop said another band would soon be shipping and still hasn't. Would have thought issues would have been a priority for this company. Beware of ordering you may not get your product, even though they already have my money.

I have been a Whoop member for more than a year now, and have nothing but great things to say. The analytics Whoop provides are bar none, the best you can get without being hooked up to many machines in a fitness lab somewhere.
I have encountered a couple technical issues - one was my fault, the other lay somewhere between the Whoop and my body's unique structure. Both were resolved within hours of letting Whoop know. They take care of their members (at least this member), and are continually improving the analytics to make it easier for me to track my progress, and continue to push my 40-something year old body to it's peak. I love being able to keep up with the 25 year olds, while keeping the wisdom of 40.

Great product and customer support. I ordered my strap at the breakout for corona so almost a month delay in receiving the band. The company was great about making sure I was informed of the status. Really like the features and needed to get away from a smart watch to refocus my lift instead of constant distractions. Tracks my sleep well and I work rotating shift work. Would highly recommend for anyone who is working to improve their performance and really understand sleep and recovery.

Not impressed with this product. The strap was not consistent with tracking my data the first week or two and then pretty well stopped collecting data all together. So I had returned & cancelled the strap with in 30 days of purchase and am supposed to get my money back. Something was telling me that there was something up(call it a spidey sense), so I logged into my account and something must had happened cause it wasn't cancelled. >_< I have emailed customer service to see if I can at least not be charged for future dates and guess what no response. But by the sounds of it, they are getting flooded with complaints. Also, I found the strap very uncomfortable no matter what I did my pinky and ringer finger would go numb. So I had to constantly adjust it. Basically bought cause a certain podcast made it sound awesome and said it was a great product. Super bummed.....

I'm a professional water skier and heard about WHOOP from a friend of mine. I've really enjoyed my WHOOP since I received it, I have learned a lot about my training with all the information that comes out of this device. It really puts all the information into one app to really understand the pros and cons that certain aspects of life and training can have on your recovery and ability to perform your best. Since owning my WHOOP I have had nothing but good experiences with customer service staff when I have questions of any sort. I would definitely recommend WHOOP to anyone active and already have to my friends!

Quite possible THE worst customer service I have ever encountered.
Takes days for them respond. When they do it may or may not even be related to your issue, just cookie-cutter preprogrammed responses. Possibly automated.
If I thought I could get a refund at this point I would but I can't even get an answer to why my data is not available to review in two weeks of inquiry.

Mistake of a purchase. After receiving my whoop that did not record data properly, I reached out multiple times to whoops tech support I received too many lackluster responses that in no way resolved my data recording issues. I returned my device per whoops instructions, however I am still being charged my monthly membership fees. I returned my device within both the 30 day return window and within my complimentary month of service yet my charge still appears. I have used a few fitness trackers over the past few years and honestly whoop was the easiest device for me to give up. It may have been different if whoop had made any attempt to resolve technical issues but to be pointed back to either the website or whoop podcast s is unacceptable. If that info had helped I would not have reached out to tech support to begin with. If you want to pay $30 a month for a cool fabric bracelet for then whoop is for you. If your looking for a fitness tracker then look elsewhere.

I haven't even received the device yet, and I already love this company. They helped me with a shipping issue, answering my questions and providing solutions to my problems efficiently and effectively. I recommend anyone to join up and get yourself a whoop strap!

First off let me clarify that I have been using the app for almost a year! Not cheap considering what I received! It is very important for everyone to know that when you buy this device you are doing so at the risk of receiving A used one! Mine smelled of cigarette smoke and they would not replace. I got over it and forged ahead but wishing now I hadn t been so curios about the device. If for some reason your device does not work properly you can expect some very high wait times of at least a week just for someone to get back with you via email. The service is OK once someone actually gets in contact with you but it s like the Company may be operating with very few support techs! So you just may be throwing away $30 a month! To wear a device on your wrist that doesn t even give you the time. Pretty sad.

I would give this company ZERO stars if I could. Their 30 days trial is a LIE. When you try and return the band- customer service just stops responding. I have reached out to their app customer service , Instagram, Facebook and email. I even called them and was hung up on after a recording told me to email them.

DO NOT get involved with this company you will regret it.

Not to mention the band is horrible. It said I was burning 700 calories a day .

Customer Service needs substantial improvement. I bought a band and the price was charged to my credit card - full price for a year (I opted for the full year) and it has been 25 + days and I have not received it yet, nor has it shipped. I have never been in a business where consumers pay before the product is shipped.

Kind of a trash product for the price. The hardware itself is cheap and has pairing issues, they charge your 25 or more for a piece of different color fabric, and the battery pack rarely works to recharge. Go buy yourself a Garmin and avoid whoop.

I ve been wearing the Whoop unit for over a year now so have plenty of experience with it. I don t a smart watch so overall the Technology is awesome. Lots of solid data concerning sleep, strain of workouts, etc..., customer service another story. I ve had intermittent issues and am on my 3rd warranted unit. Last week unit decided to not display recovery data even though it recorded sleep. I requested service ticket and included screenshots of missing data. I immediately got automated message that stated follow up was coming ASAP. 4 days later I got message from CS rep asking what the issue was and asked for pics of data screens. I resent. CS rep said she would mark it urgent and I should get help soon. Another 24 hours (5 days total) I get a tech support message asking for more pics of band placement, etc.., he ran a diagnostic and found some errors. Within 5 minutes I got link to you tube video to correct error and got unit back up at 100%.

My issue is not with the unit but with customer service. This is my 3rd unit as previously stated and wait times for replacements were over 10 days out and every time I ve contacted customer service it has taken 4-5 days to get resolution. So twice now with 2 malfunctioning units my service resolution was 15 days? With the price of the strap and subscription costs I expect much better service. Once my subscription runs out I doubt I ll renew unless something drastically changes.
