Not my favorite Whole Foods in Chicago. Small, crowded with small aisles, but it will do in a pinch.

I like their bulk section. I can measure out what I need without fancy packaging. Cuts the cost.

This Whole Foods is always beautifully arranged, and very well stocked. The customer service is on point, everyone is well informed and ready to help. These things make the high prices on some things worth it, I wouldnt say worth it I guess but less painful lol.

Excellent service and selection.
Great efforts made to ensure sanitary conditions in the midst of Covid.
Everyone who works there is fantastic.

Supermarket with many fresh products, a little expensive

Good branch of Whole Foods. Nice selection of prepared items to eat, decent local beer selection, helpful staff. (Visited December 2019 before COVID-19 Pandemic)

Very very expensive, and today I got diarrhea from their hot bar.

Haha it's really big, it's surprising when your American steps. Big market place, they have a lot of interesting organic and vegan products.

They are now open at 7am everyday....great place to stop in for quick breakfast burrito!!

Great selection of products. Nice people and great customer service. The only thing is that if you go every day the hot bar gets really boring because they don t rotate it very often.

I love whole foods it's like a boutique for food... personalized, professional, uplifting, not antiquated, love the Specialty Foods, the employees have great knowledge of the food and the store and are willing to help at the drop of a hat. I'm immensely happy every time I walk through their doors thank you Whole Foods keep up the good work.

Sadly disappointed. Shopped on a Saturday afternoon for a dinner party. Fresh veggies didn't match up to past experience--radishes, celery, potatoes, greens were wilted or noticeably going bad. Limited choices for carbs like dinner roles, bread sticks or crackers. Limited egg choices, too. Beef was great but it needs veggies and other sides to make a meal. Many other shopping options in the area to choose from look around.

Magnificent. We lived in the apartment above the market and we ate here every day. Top Quality!

I was never judged for wearing my black loafers with my pajamas. The fish market man helped me find the tampons in the sea of organic products. And the pizza was really good cold/the next day/the actual day we bought it. Thank you for understanding me.

This is maybe not the t biggest Whole Foods in the area but how somehow they always have almost everything. I've been shopping here for many years and people are always smiling and eager to help out. They are always a very busy so be prepared to wait extra few minutes. Just a few minutes from magnificent mile. Highly recommended. Thank you so much

Good place for quick bite and healthy food and drinks

I've been here many times, and I have never had a bad experience. They don't have the selection you'd find at a larger store, but they also don't have the high prices, while surpassing many other stores in customer service. Most of the people who work there seem to actually enjoy it and are willing to help. You can even return items you don't like. The atmosphere is positive and some selections seem extensive, such as cheeses and nut mixes.

Lots of great food, and mostly higher quality than basic grocery stores. They were totally out of strawberries the day we ran in, which was very surprising, as a pretty basic produce item. Check out was slower than I'd like, but the checker was great. Just some one in front buying about ten items, yet paying for them in FOUR different separate payments. Next time I went in they were low on baggers and even through there are LONG lines and three able bodied people waiting for that one particular large prefer to be processed, none of them lifted a finger to help bag and get themselves out of the store and others through the line faster. Annoying.

organic food is always tasty. the variety of food selections are terrific. You can stay healthy by snacking on fresh food without pesticides.

You will find everything that you want. Quality of food is good and service is nice. People working in there is really friendly and you enjoy the experience of buying there.

We love shopping here but there times on their pizzas are less than desirable. we were told 30 minutes we arrived at the store and we were told to wait an additional 30 minutes. Then our pizza was burned. NOt sure we will be oredering here again.

I absolutely love this store. It always has fresh and quality produce. The service is always rapid and friendly not to mention conveniently located.

The best place to shop for food by weight. Lots of variety. Delicious and healthy

I have been going to this store in the past 3 years, and very disappointed to see how the quality of goods and personnel has been steadily degrading over this time.
Firstly, the salad bar. Apparently, it is now ok to serve semi-fresh produce. And don t be surprised if you find sand/soil in spinach, kale and fresh mushrooms.
Secondly, personnel. The new staff that has recently been recruited thinks it is ok to place fresh tomatoes at the bottom of a heavy bag.
At the beginning when all this started to happen I was hoping that the new staff will eventually get properly trained, and was patiently waiting for 3 months. But situation hasn t improved.
Must be a sign that I need to start looking for a new grocery store.

Whole foods is a nice store that was bought by Amazon recently. I personally enjoy shopping at stores that you know anything you buy is geared towards people who have food allergies.

The down side is that the prices have been higher than other stores in the past, but I have not price checked since Amazon bought them.

Very clean, lots of choices but on the expensive side

I love their pies, I got most of the flavors I wanted except strawberry rhubarb. Other than that I got my dutch apple, cherry, & Michigan 4-Berry pies.

Whole Foods is a very good place to shop, that is if you can afford it. whole foods is a really pricey place to, I call it whole pay check. But you do get better better products, considering that everything at Whole Foods is organic and better for you. But who say eating better and healthier has to cost you an arm and a leg. the service is great and everything there is pretty good to try. if you want to try Whole Foods and it won't hurt your pockets check it out. But honestly you can go to trader joes and get tjhe same good products for far cheaper, I'm just saying.

Do not get the Thanksgiving dinner. One year I wanted to avoid doing any work, so we ordered the (what I now realize) overpriced meal and invited people over. What a total disappointment and even embarrassment. The turkey was totally dry, even though we cooked it according to instructions and despite using gravy. The stuffing was just dry pieces, and potato was bland. I could've made better green beans as well. Nothing was good, and I regretted my decision to assume that they would offer quality. I went to the store and told the person who was promoting another holiday meal, and they were like "whatever." Other than that, it's an okay place.

I love Wholefoods. A bit on the expensive side, but the quality is unbeatable. Super discounts for Amazon Prime members. Fresh fruits and vegetables are a delight for the eyes. Cheese selection is huge. Fresh seafood and meat counter. In house baked products.

This whole foods was amazing. We have some in AL but there was just something different about this store.

A market for natural products, many organics, dietary supplements, and fresh food that can be eaten at the tables located after the boxes. The food is very rich, and is made with natural products, without chemicals, meat without antibiotics, etc.

Tho' this is a smaller location I love the atmosphere, intimate like a Ma & Pa grocery store. This is my favorite Whole Foods location in the Chicago area.

Today is Saturday November 2nd. I just left WF (Huron St in River North) at about 4PM. I write these details because my experience at the Customer Service desk was top notch and I would like the nice lady to receive credit for her exemplary service. I had left a grocery item behind yesterday and she helped me with a smile as I walked out with a replacement! I watched how she tolerated an unruly customer with class and professionalism. I would just like to say that she is doing a great job and she deserves an award for being so professional and pleasant. Thank you.

I love doing my shopping here, prices and services are decent. This is one of my favorite places to shop at.

An awesome experience! I was impressed with the sheer size of the place. Also, the option to drink while shopping was Amazing. Rolmarr at the Chef's case had an amazing attitude, and he helped me over come my anxiety. Great Store.

Whole Foods has some neat, hard to find, products. Beyond that I think the store is confusing and pretentious. My friends and I call it "Whole Paycheck" in reference to it's focus on exclusivity and high prices. I understand it's a good work environment, however.

this is the best take out North of Michigan ave. Great bakery and Take out. Friendly staff.

Conveniently located in river north and probably one of the better grocery stores in the downtown area.

I like the on on Grand St better.. This one is super compact.. Although they have the cilantro pesto (amazing amazing amazing) but the sirloin steak was raw!!!! it smelled like raw beef... couldn't finish it, but ate the salad..

Fresh flowers smell fabulous. Cozy neighborhood grocery store.
