Lovely green white chocolate hot chocolate. Bought loads! Tea to go downstairs at good prices. Recommend.

Amazing variety of teas and cocoas! I couldn t choose so I had both - green tea with mango and PB cocoa. Both delicious. We also enjoyed the focaccia and the mince pie. Very nice experience! I took some teas home.

I went to tea shop. Staff was very friendly but the manager was not. (woman wearing a glasses has brown hair. I am not sure she is manager or owner of that shop)

A very nice tea shop - Whittard being a bit like the English Dammann Brothers - located in the heart of a tourist hotspot that is Covent Garden. On the lower level, you can also enjoy the typical pastries of an English tea room: cream scones, Carrot Cake, small sandwiches, etc. The tea is served with three small hourglasses of different colors, to measure the infusion time of the tea. Because in these people, the infusion is a science ... The decoration is at the height of the institution that is Whittard. We are far from the modernity of Dammann boutiques. Here we are rather immersed in an English cottage, with its white painted bricks, vaulted ceilings, soft cushions and so British porcelain. Here, tradition has prevailed over fashion and we can enjoy a well deserved break after a few intense hours in the heart of London.

I used to be big fan of whittard but they dissapointed me recently when buying loose cammomile tea they gave me very bottom of the batch which means very few accual flowers most of it is just powder like. I have to use two strainers everytime time I make the tea.
Won't be buying tea there again.

Green tea ! Tried 2 different ones both just like HOT WATER staff brilliant they did not charge but very disappointing

I had the Toffee Apple tea, Gammon sandwich and Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownie whilst visiting Whittard Tea Bar today. The food and tea was excellent value of money and really delicious. I was very impressed! The cafe is attached to the store itself which had great samples to try before purchasing and beautiful gift sets for Christmas.

The only criticism is that the service could have been friendlier in the Tea Bar itself. There was one gentleman working who I assume was the Store Manager as he was confident chatting with us and we had an enjoyable conversation. However, the other staff members were less confident with talking to us and advising us on the different types of tea. I am sure this will come in time as it is a new establishment.

Overall though, I 100% recommend and I will be returning :)

Take all the tea you can! It is indeed very good. They sell many gift packs for friends at home who appreciate it and packs of 100g of all types and tastes. Of course there is also the possibility of taking bulk if you already know what you want. In addition there is also a section dedicated to coffee with a huge choice and here too the opportunity to take it loose.

The staffs are not kind at all. Reccomend to buy at the other location.

The perfect place for tea, coffee and hot chocolate, and especially if you're looking for a gift. You will be spoilt for choice at the wide selection of beautifully-packed beverages available. There are also ready samples in-store if you would like to have a taste before making your choice. The interior is lovely and the staff are helpful- if you need any advice on their products.

Nice place to have tea, with several food options, at a good price. Many variety of teas. In addition there is a place to buy also with a lot of variety. Good attention.

I have bought tea here multiple times. I find the selection to be top notch. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My kids were impressed with the huge amounts of hot chocolate available as well.

What a great place to try different blends of green, white, black and oolong Teas. Does a lovely warm scone cream tea. You can buy and try many tea varieties. If you're tall watch out for the low ceiling as it's a basement cafe in Covent Garden.

Excellent place to visit and try and test the tasty teas and cakes staff are lovely.

Whittards always have such a beautiful range of flavoured and boutique teas, coffees and hot chocolates. I have recently bought a salted caramel flavoured coffee from Whittards and was not disappointed. Definitely worth a visit for an enthusiastic hot beverage fan!

Had a lovely afternoon tea here. Be prepared to wait as it gets very busy. We shared an afternoon tea which was plenty.

There's always hell in the shop. You can try cocoa and tea. Downstairs you get the loose tea, one floor up cocoa and ready packed tea.
Cocoa is delicious and so many varieties. Tea as well. Just try it.

A lovely place for an afternoon tea. They've got a really interesting and wide range of tea collection to choose from. Loved their avocado toast (on a sourdough bread). The staff is super friendly and courteous ! Highly recommended.

Stopped by here because every place else had a long wait and we needed to eat before a show. They had a great open faced sourdough avocado sandwich and a great tea selection as well. Very cute store, I wish I spent some more time in!

The customer service is extremely terrible here. I just came tonight while I was checking the bill the staff at right is very impatient and her expression tell me she is a racist because I am Asian. Also I don t understand why she didn t give me the paper receipt. Later I want to change one product, and I saw she gave other customers the paper receipts then I ask she why, she said because they use American Express card????? So they have to sign??? If she is not racist , she can just say they have to sign, why mention America card???And while she talking, her eye is full of dislike to me. It s shocking. Also she can t do the return she ask me to another store.terrible experience!

Drinks weren't so great and the area was cramped, although the service was fast and the decor is charming.

Absolutely delightful experience. I strongly recommend visiting it. The members of staff know what they're talking about, can make really tailored recommendations and take their time with you in order to offer you the best experience possible. Goes without saying that the flavours are incredibly diverse and really something else ! Cannot recommend it enough for tea lovers and also their hot chocolate is exquisite !

The manager here (brown hair and glasses) was absolutely worse that useless!! She didn't have the slightest clue about anything I asked her and was just rude, because of her own ignorance!!! I had to ask another member of staff and she was lovely! Couldn't have done more to help me. But the manager needs to re-evaluated because she didn't know the difference between tea and coke! Ridiculous.

It's underground, but it's hot. Coconut tea is recommended. I do not feel the smell of coconut, it is really fragrant. I bought it in a carrier and it acts as a natural air freshener ^. ^ It smells so good too ~ ~ The servers are very very very kind and handsome ^ ^.

Hot chocolate is really delicious and you can get a discount on your international student ID, so you can buy it cheaply! Friendly staff! But if you don't match the timing, you can wear it among Chinese.

I visited Whittard in Covent Garden today, looking for a gift for my father. It is not easy in places crowded such Covent Garden to get a satisfying and bespoke service, but I did. Andrea guided me in this complex world of blends, flavours and scents and helped me in finding the perfect combination for my needs. I will definitely come back to buy more tea for myself. Thanks.

Stopped in for a spot of Afternoon Tea. With more than 100 different types of teas, making a choice was a bit difficult - fun though. I chose the Piccadilly Tea option because it was the cheapest. Nevertheless, it was delicious. I also chose the white chocolate tea, and I love the option that if I tasted it and didn't like it, I could choose another tea. I enjoyed the white chocolate tea and it went well with the hot scones and cream/jam. I'll return to Whittard - and next time I bringing home some tea.

A friendly place offering a nice afternoon tea with an excellent choice of different teas. It can also be easier to get into if you forgot to book one of the more well known places.

If you walk out of the ground and walk a little further, there is a way down. If you walk there, there is an underground store where you can have tea. Please tell us if you have made a reservation or not.
