We would ve liked to do carry out, or even dine in but we were told we aren t doing any carry out orders right now because our kitchen is too busy & when we asked about dine in we were told there s no tables available until 8pm. That s fine, but the carry out restriction made no sense. I ve worked in customer service for 5 years and have never been told to turn away customers because we were too busy. We weren t informed of a wait time for carry out, just denied the service totally with no option given to us. Never experienced that before at a restaurant. I don t blame the employee who spoke to us either because I understand the stress; it s unfortunate that management accepts this kind of chaos.

Absolutely professional service and impeccable food with an eclectic selection for everyone. You won't be disappointed here. I love their classic cocktails selection: try the Mint Julep! We loved the Brussels Sprouts Appetizer and the Oatmeal Pie for dessert.

What a gem! This little diamond is tucked away, but well worth the trip. The food and drinks are great, but the ambience is unmatched. So much beauty and history. It's ridiculously cozy. Great for the bar or for big groups. Also, if you ask nicely, they may give you the unofficial ghost tour!

Place was hopping for a Sunday at 5pm. Had reservations for a birthday dinner for my daughter. Our server made sure our daughter felt special on her special day. Food was awesome (as always!) and service was outstanding.

I will start out by admitting that I haven't even been here yet, but wanted to post a five star review to balance out a two star review from 18 hours ago. These are challenging times for all restaurants, with many not surviving. The fact that management realized their limitations and refused to put further stress on a kitchen staff already past capacity is to be commended, not criticized. "I don t blame the employee who spoke to us either because I understand the stress" I really don't think you do. I look forward to our first visit soon.

Dining at the White Horse Inn was well worth the drive. We enjoyed lunch in this beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the service was terrific. Thank you for a great experience!

Superb food at a fair price, and unique homey yet upgraded renovated restaurant. I had the pesto salmon, baked potato and husband had the pot roast. Good wine recommendation. Only near issue was we had to take a stand with hostess for what we feel is safe distancing between tables in the pandemic. An employee nearby saw what was happening and assured us she would handle if the hostess became a barrier, and it worked out.

Beautiful outdoor patios and indoor atmosphere. You feel like you are at a luxury horse and riding club. The restaurant was packed and the food was good. Had one issue with my steak being over cooked but the server and manager fixed it right away. Great overall experience.

Just left the White Horse Inn. Took my mother and others there for dinner. My first time and definitely not my last! Coming from Portland, OR I was very impressed. The food was made with care and precision. The service was attentive and happy. Prices were on point for the quality. This was on Mother's Day and ran like a well oiled machine. Now! The interior and history of this place is off the charts! I thank all the people that put in the work to make this place what it is. Would have taken more pics, but ya know...covid stuff. See you all again next time I am in town.
