Another excellent week sailing the Whitsundays. This was our third rental with the Whitsunday Rent a Yacht people. The boat was in excellent condition and the staff could not not have been more helpful. The boat was ready and waiting when we arrived at the dock with A/C and fridges going. The staff took the boat out from the dock for us (and back again when we returned). They provided good advice on places to anchor each night. Overall a great experience that we will definitely repeat.

Great company with fantastic friendly staff! Lots of guidance and support to ensure we had an outstanding holiday sailing around these incredible islands.

Paid for a week long sailing school ended up staying for two. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I was nervous about sharks but the staffs knowledge of the waters and competence when it comes to client safety put me at ease. Not much to worry about when you apply a bit of common sense.

My course instructor Dave was amazing and helped build my confidence resulting in me feeling confident enough to skipper a catamaran the week after my day skipper course.

Whitsunday rent a yacht have a huge selection of yachts and catamarans to choose from and I will definitely be coming back.

Best family holiday and a fantastic company to deal with. Armed with plenty of information to commence our bareboating trip, thanks to the team for making us feel comfortable to sail The Whitsundays.

We just spent 5 glorious days aboard Yellow Fin.

From first contact with Mel in sales through to Donna who gave us our briefing prior to departure, and the gentleman who debriefed us, I found everyone to be professional, very communicative, courteous, and have a sound sense of humour. It s nice/refreshing to walk into a business and see everyone smiling and enjoying their work.

Waking up with turtles taking breaths a few meters away from the bedroom window and then sailing from one magnificent island to another through the most beautiful blue waters was breathtaking and memorable to say the least.

I happily parted ways with my money in this fine establishment.

Great service. Good people who know what they're doing. Highly recommended.

I m standing in the car park after a 10 night yacht charter and I just want to cry that we have to leave. Beyond being impressed by by Sunquest, the main thing that made this trip all it was comes down to the simply outstanding service of Whitsunday Rent A Yacht.

We arrived early but were welcomed into the boat before we were supposed to be.

Tenielle and Michelle at reception couldn t have been more wonderful. Beautiful smiles and so helpful. Tenielle even alleviated my fears over Facebook when I thought we had locked ourselves out of the marina for our sleep aboard.

The boat was incredibly clean, we had a very thorough handover - much more than we had been given with the previous company we booked with.

When our radio wasn t working they had guys running everywhere to get us sorted so fast. Any maintenance was attended to with such precision and speed. I felt at all times that our enjoyment and use of all facilities on the boat was of paramount importance to every single member of their team.

Paul even attended on his day off to a salt water pump issue but again never complained.

We came back to base quite a lot but it was never met with impatience of having to come out and bring us in again, only smiles and warm conversation.

Going out of Shute Harbour was so much cruisier than Abel Point and by the time we left we knew everybody s name.

Dave even took us in the tender to take a look at their brand new boat before we left.

As we were checking out, customer service manager James, came out to personally introduce himself and offer a past passenger discount on our next charter.

We couldn t have felt more valued or more welcomed. It felt like saying goodbye to family.

We have already started looking for next year but we won t be going anywhere else.

First class charter company. Worth the extra effort to get to shute harbour rather than the easier option of Abel point. Great staff with a fantastic attitude. Compliments to both Paul and Simon. As a qualified commercial skipper and engineer, watching their skills in the tricky business of bareboat charter was a highlight of the trip. See you all again soon for the next relaxing holiday with the family and also the opportunity to pass on some skills to the not so little kids anymore!

We had a sensational week sailing around the Whitsundays on Whitsunday Rent A Yacht. Following a very thorough induction covering all important aspects of managing a catamaran, the 7 of us set sail on a 5 day/night explore of the islands. We had a couple of minor issues along the way, but our experienced captain (friend and fellow sailor) handled these technical problems in a calm and rational manner. Let it be said that chartering a boat is a huge responsibility for all on board, and this should only be done with good company and know how . Our boat was fitted out with everything we needed to have a comfortable and really special experience. The staff at Shute Harbour were very efficient and ready to assist by radio at any time. I can highly recommend this organisation to rent from and sail the Whitsundays.

Lovely staff, great service and an all around wonderful experience. The yacht was a bit run down on a few corners but everything was working fine and we had a lovely holiday. We found WRAY was the friendliest company around and they provided the best value for money as well as an all around great service!

Whitsunday Rent A Yacht is my go to charter operator for the Whitsundays. Fantastic customer service, great vessels at good prices, and always so friendly and professional at the same time.

We had a wonderful 5 days cruising the islands on "Anya". Very professional and helpfull WRAY staff. Well prepared and clean boat. All of our extra wishes and problems encountered were dealed with immediately.

Wonderful experience. Would recommend it to anyone. A thorough brief by Simone on waterways, navigation and ins and outs of our boat (Anya) was given and everything backed up by onboard manual, making it a pleasurable experience. Had a wonderful 7 days and looking forward to the next time. Thanks to all at Whitsunday Rent A Yacht.

Horrible recent experience with Whitsundays Rent a Yacht. I booked and paid a deposit for a book for October 2017 in February 2017 for 8-10 people. As many are aware there was a storm in the Whitsundays and some boats were damaged. Whitsundays Rent A Yacht didn't contact us to advise, ignored multiple emails, and only after a phone call we discovered our boat was damaged and unavailable. When we ask for alternative they offered smaller boats, at a higher price, or a different date. Neither of which suited. We asked for a refund as our boat was unavailable, they made it difficult and time consuming, and then tried to charge an "admin fee" on the refund, despite not having a boat available for us. There are plenty of other charter companies in the Whitsundays - do not use this one.

We had a great time with WRAY onboard the Lukim Yu for a week - having chosen to stay in Oz rather than do much the same thing in New Caledonia. The staff are well organised and easygoing. Everything worked smoothly and the boat was really comfortable and easy to sail. A good choice for first-timers. Minor boat problems we encountered were well handled by the staff onshore via radio - nothing was too much trouble. The Whitsundays are glorious - after early unseasonal rain we had days of blue skies and fresh winds. Diving was good - not like the outer reef but plenty of nice coral, fish etc to make it worthwhile. We also saw dugong, manta rays, lots of turtles and also sighted wedge-tailed eagles, sea eagles and an osprey (Australia's three biggest raptors) in about 10 mins viewing at Cateran Bay. National Parks and
GBRMPA are doing a good job balancing visitor numbers with the environment - beaches and facilities were squeaky clean and a pleasure on the eye and we weren't overwhelmed by other visitors. All-in-all a world-class holiday.

I cannot thank the crew at WRAY enough for enabling the most fantastic family holiday I have ever had. 25 yrs ago my wife and I lived in Airlie and worked out in the Islands and reef, as such a return was always bittersweet and I was concerned we had built it up to a point with the kids it could never deliver.......how wrong I was.

I would like to thanks Mel for being a wonderful host and dealing with my youngest doing the radio 'Scheds'. Mike for an informative briefing which prepared us for handling the boat in the conditions we could expect. Paul for helping us easily fix the broken fuse in the forward head, Ollie for playing 'get me, fetch me' with a hangover and the other team members whose names I don't have (sorry). Lastly I will mention Gi Gi, very forgiving of my rusty sailing skills, easy to moor, anchor and sail (we hit just over 10 kts coming down the passage without a scary moment).

I cannot recommend WRAY highly enough and would suggest anyone considering this type of trip contact these guys. Thank you from the entire family, we will be talking about it for years to come.
