Awesome little Distillery located in the rejuvenated downtown square of Valley View Texas. They have the only double Thumper Distillery process in the US that creates a great, high-quality product. Tons of moonshine options to choose from and tasting options available as well.

I'm not a whiskey drinker but we stopped in for fun. These guys are great. They allowed us to sample several things and we left with great options.

Love the PainKiller!!! Bartenders are always ready to serve and answer your questions. Love the fact that you can get your drink in a Whiskey Hallow cup and lid. Then walk around town.

We saw the sign on the way home. My son and I enjoy a good whiskey. The tasting area had some beautiful barrels. The location had 3 types of whiskey and the rest was moonshine. We tasted some nothing really great but what made the visit not really worth the stop. The bartenders didn't really want to talk about the business and when my son purchased some moonshine they sold it to him in water bottles. Which I was not impressed. Here is the biggest kicker he put them in the freezer. Moonshine should not freeze. It is frozen Solid. We got taken.

Had never been by and passed it 100+ times. Just thought it was just to sample and make their product. I was very wrong, very modern facility with lots of products and an unbelievable blue label bourbon. Give it a try.

Love the atmosphere and the staff treats you like family. Dr. Hot shot and Dr is the bomb and the painkiller is exactly that.

A one-hour tour turned into almost three hours hanging out with Les, the master distiller and some great cocktails! His distillation process is different from any we have visited and the taste matches. Definitely some of the best Texas whiskey I've had! Here's how to do this:
1. Budget-minded? Shootin' Whiskey
2. Like mixing? Hot buttered rum kit with a rum bottle.
3. Special occasion? Bring the credit card for a bottle of Texas Gold. Not cheap but very worth it - it's a single-barrel bottle.
Oh, and the shots of Texas Gold are directly from the barrel!
Spend the cash and leave with a bottle. Don't question this.

Sampled a great single malt and a 151. Both smooth and a treat. Bartender was funny and knowledgeable.

I was in valley view visiting my boyfriend I live in NY. My boyfriend and I decided to give you guys a try since he lives in town and I like whiskey. ....we were both looking forward to trying the moonshine also the Pickle to be exact. We walked in and grabbed 2 seats at the bar this was after we stood looking at the menu on the wall above the bar....where I know we had to be seen by the staff at this point. We proceeded to sit down we waited for atleast one of the 4 staff to acknowledge us.......noone came over or even said we will be right with you no eye contact nothing. 2 bartenders for a small place like that and still no acknowledgement. The older gentleman was too busy in conversation with a younger woman that appeared to work there. We waited for a good 15 minutes until I had enough we both walked out and I decided never to go back. I felt it to be very unwelcoming unless maybe your a regular. For a small town and not too much going on I thought maybe you would be mor welcoming. I visit quite a bit so I would have gone back seeing how I was looking forward to the different flavors.

It's worth a look, a taste, and a purchase or two. Craft spirits for lovers of the craft is the reason this place exists.

Tastings are reasonably priced and portioned. Rum and infused whiskey can be sampled, but you'll pay yet another reasonable price for a sipping sample of the Texas Gold bourbon.

Went there just to buy a birthday gift end up getting the history of the place and samples and very nice and wonderful loved it if you like whiskey you'll love this place

Pulled off the highway to try this place on a whim, delighted that we did. Unfortunately I forgot to get the bartenders name, but he was very friendly and had great suggustions. Would highly recommend trying the 4 shot sampler, they have tons of great alcohol and it would be a shame to limit yourself to trying just one thing

Great service, great atmosphere, great drinks!! So glad this place is not in Dallas because I think I would just move in. My husband and I are not whiskey drinkers, but we are adventurous people so since we haven't been to a whiskey distillery we had to check it out. The rums and moon shines we tried were amazing. We left with 3 jars.

We have been here almost a year ago.
The wiskey is by far the best we have ever had. The moonshine so many flavors all impressive. Above all this was the kindness and professional way everything was explained tobus. No hurry and all with a huge pride I what the are doing here. We will make sure we returned anytime we are even close to here.

Great place to unwind after a busy day or week. The people and the product set them apart from any bar around. Excellent drinks and top notch service make this well worth the drive. It's not just a drink or a bar, it's the best entertainment around north texas. If you are heading to the casino be sure to grab a bottle or a jar of moonshine for your hotel room. Better than any drink winstar has to offer !!! If I could give 10 stars I would. This is the place you tell your friends and coworkers about

This place has a small tasting room with a variety of things to taste. They experiment a lot with flavored moonshine. They also make a few rums. The silver rum has some whisky notes to it since they age in the same barrels. The 15 was quite potent and I couldn t drink it. They also had a bourbon but the cost was quite high at $150 / bottle. However they will give you a sample of the three rums and the bourbon for just $5.

We saw the billboard on 35 and, on a whim decided to go by. Incredible place! It sits in an old (like 1900 or something) First National Bank building and is incredibly preserved. The inside is well done and distillery workings are impressive.

$5 gets you a sample of 4 of their products. (Take a $10...) We finally settled on jars (yes, jars) of the Apple Pie (good strong cinnamon flavor) moonshine and the Coconut Rum.

Now, we are waiting for a cool day to go back for a hot toddy...
