Wet Republic is oversold and packs people in like sardines. It s amazing that they can get away with violating basic fire (read safety ) codes.

Total waste of money and not worth it unless you are a total d-bag that enjoys being amongst your peers.

Tiny lockers are sixty bucks, drinks are expensive, we paid for tickets and a promoter tried to give us free ones at the door (waste of money), and they confiscate everything, including eye drops.

For all the hype, was hoping for a bigger pool. Locker rentals were $50, so a lot of people that couldn't buy a booth or locker just had to find a corner and shove their clothes in. I wasn't interested in doing that, not bring crammed into a pool with nowhere to move. Disappointing.

It was fun and not a bad deal for a table. However your customer service is not the best. Extremely disipointed that even after offering a generous tip I still can't get the bill split by 4 cards. It's just poor service to deny such a simple request.

Super expensive. $50 for mixed drinks $12 beers. $50.00 for a small locker $30 to get in. If you don t spring for a cabana (2k-4K u.s.d.) you won t have anywhere to sit or get out of the sun. Super packed shoulder to shoulder in main pool. Music is all no lyric techno type music. Place is not my cup of tea. If you like over paying for everything even by Vegas standards this is the place for you.

I've been to many Vegas and non-vegas pool parties. My sister and I go there for first time (2 girls) I had been told that I'd be on the guest list by a promoter who didn't put me on - granted this wasn't wet republic mistake. The entrance staff ASKS to see the promoter text which I show the confirmation she then checks for the DATESTAMP. Idk why she had to ask for the message details to then reject us and rudely say that it's $40 per person or "step out of the line immediately; those are my only options." it felt like a bad joke!! The security line is more like TSA only worse. No shades so expect get to burn.. lockers are expensive and limited so there is ppls belongings crawling everywhere. Security and management is rude and ineffective imo. Will def not be going back.

MEH!

MEH!

Stayed at the MGM Grand hotel, and went to Wet Republic in May of 2016.

The sound system (and maybe the DJ) is what makes you consider this venue in the first place. That and the close proximity to the MGM Grand hotel.

To go to the Wet Republic here are some points to note:
-You can't see inside from the outside.
-Men pay a $40 cover and women pay a $30 cover.
-You must be dressed "right". Fashionable swimwear on exceptional bodies ONLY. Ladies, platforms with sexy bikinis, shades, hats (optional). Men, toned, tanned bodies, shorts, and cool flip flops or shoes. Of COURSE you can get in if you don't look exactly like described, but be prepared to be dealt with rudely by bar staff and servers. Also be prepared for disapproving looks from the beautiful people.
-You must check your bag in a locker for $ unless you get a daybed or cabana.
-Towels must be rented for $
-Lounger chairs are first come first served and cost $. Daybed's, and cabana's can be reserved and paid for with a minimum spend of $500.
-Drinks can be bought for mucho $.

Ladies and gentlemen the moral of this story is you'll either pay and sit, or stand up and sip. If you must go, go on a Sat or Sun before 1pm to avoid the line up.

If you are a non-celebrity with a group of people willing to spend about $300 each you'll be good. But then again if you were a celebrity you and your entourage would get in free, bypass the line, get a cabana for absolutely free, and a comp'ed bottle or two like Prince Harry, Will Smith , and countless others do.

Really the only reason to go to Wet Republic is to day party with other like-minded (and some say douche-bag minded) people. There are several perfectly good pools at the MGM where you can listen to the vibes from the Wet Republic, tan on a free lounger chair, actually swim, cool off under a tree, and get served appropriately priced drinks by a server who comes to you (I posted a pic of two of them).

The venue and music are great! I really liked the vibe there. Ticket prices are ok, unfortunately the rest is pretty expensive. Anyway, when in Vegas, you definitely have to go there and check it out.

Basically no shade unless you pay thousands of dollars for it, the pool is overcrowded and honestly just disgusting and everything is totally overpriced. Charging $15 for water is just pure evil when it's 106 degrees and no shade is provided. Lockers are $65.
We ended up leaving early.

Pool is a good size, music quality is good but if you're not getting a table don't expect to find anywhere to sit. Seems there's plenty of places you can't stand either lol. Drinks are more expensive than most Nightclubs. Over $10 for a small red bull. Lockers are $50 and since there's nowhere to sit I don't recommend you bring anything you can't take in the pool if you dont have a table.

We enjoyed an Open Swim on a Monday but there was a few things we didn t like and would have done differently. Putting our name on the guest list helped us with free admission while others paid $10. The lockers were a whooping $40 and the gentleman that assisted us told us the MGM Grand pool has $10 lockers. We could have easily put the clothing we wore on the shuttle in the MGM Grand pool lockers along with our sunscreen and whatever belongings and only brought a ID s, a credit card and our phones. We did not appreciate the fact that security took my can of Copenhagen and a pack of chewing gum yet there was people with gum in their mouth all day and people smoking cigarettes, so we didn t get that. The beer prices were outrageous, together we racked up a bill of $120 on 10 beers so we ended up getting mixed drinks which were $35 each of cranberry & vodka. In all for the six hour experience it wasn t worth it to me figure between a locker, drinks and tips we spent over $260. The bartenders were great but unless you reserved something they expect you to go hang out in the shade or sit on the edge of the pool. I would have rather found some place where I don t need a locker, I have my own chair, and the pool bar has something closer to $6-8 a beer and maybe a happy hour. Since my wife enjoyed it here s what I would have done differently, if its in open swim it s probably not gonna be overly crowded so I would get a pool towel there and put all your belongings under the towel. Pace yourselves we noticed a lot of people either weren t drinking or they would sip on a beverage for hours. If you need a locker go through MGM Grand just keep in mind you won t be able to access it again until after you leave Wet Republic for the day.

Nice environment with not so friendly staff. I'd say pricing is in keeping with all other day/night clubs. I would return for the day party but maybe not spend as much on drinks. Tip: enjoy cheaper drinks before going then enjoy the music and scenery.

Killer pool party spot. Word to the wise though: Protect your stuff from water here! We saw Calvin Harris and every-time the bass dropped everyone would smack the water and water would go everywhere. Even though my phone was (I thought) far enough away from the water in a bush, my phone got destroyed by water. Be smart, friends!

Large pool and open air club. Venue was great fun with a large group. Only disappointment was the "compulsory" 25% gratuity ($254) on second bottle ($1,015.80)... . Drinks were overpriced, but overall a good afternoon.

Absolutely diabolical place, service, staff and experience - If i could give a negative rating, believe me i would!

A group of us attended over the summer months, we hired out a cabana and spent $2,300 - our waitress was "Melanie G".
The service was rude, slow and overall awful considering the amount of money we were spending, so we ended up asking to reduce our service charge from 20% to 15%.

We were then spoken to like pieces of dirt, made to feel worthless, then escorted out by security when we asked to speak to management.

If you want to have fun in Vegas, i strongly advise you find somewhere else to go!

Wet Republic parties are always unforgettable. When more famous DJs go, the place gets crowded and tickets are more expensive. To compensate, a lot of beautiful people and excited about the party.

Although it's a pool party, they won't let you swim or jump. The idea is to stay in the pool but without risking hurting others or drowning after too much drinking.

Speaking of drinks, the ideal is to do a warm up first. The price there is quite steep, as in any nightclub in Vegas. A bucket of 6 Heineken, for example, goes for $ 66.

It has drinks and distilled drinks options too.

Lockers are also expensive ($ 60) so pack your pocket or take as little as possible and buy one of those waterproof bags to store cell phones.

Wet Republic was beyond deplorable. I made reservations on 10 March to use a cabana on 24 April. There were 9 men (a mix of active duty and military veterans) in my party. The friend who made the reservation arrived at Wet Republic to pay for the cabana, in cash at noon; everything was going well. The rest of my party arrived at 1:15pm. When we asked to be shown our area, management refused to let us in, stating that the price has now doubled. When management was asked for a reason, none was given. At this moment, everyone in my party was supremely civil, however, that didn t stop Wet Republic security from descending upon us. No one said anything to us, but we were virtually surrounded by guards. We were never asked to leave, but we got the sense that we were not welcomed. We took our party to Drai s Beach Club, which was much better!

Went here for a Calvin Harris Pool Party. Overcrowded, $60 for lockers, over $100 for 8 domestic beers, $12 for water, 20 min wait to use the drinking fountain or get ice, forget about trying to get food, no reentry allowed even though he showed up 5 hours after originally promised. Pool was a murky hot mess before we decided it wasn't worth the wait. I can only touch wet napkins, Band-Aids, cigarette butts and drunk people in a pool for so long before I gotta go.

Absolutley ridiculous. Abhorrent prices to get in. They do not tell you that you cant bring a bag in. When they force you to check your bag in, it costs you $20 USD. Service is rubbish and you can't even stand by a wall because it is reserved. Horrendous and will never come here again.

I was here on a memorial weekend on saturday.
Probably the most packed it could ever be.
WE HAD A BLAST !
its simple.... bring nothing with you. No phone , no bag . just $ for those 60 $ large 5 ounce drinks.
( people complaining about the drink prices are way off. 5 ounces in one drink, thats the equivalent to 5 drinks... do the math )
60 % chance you will not find your shoes at the end of the party. So bring some cheep flip flops.
A must see party

Absolutely loved this place, great staff, security, and atmosphere. Love the fact that the hotel backs its staff if the client decides to verbally or physically attack their staff during a drunken escapade. 5 stars and props to the security guards on standby. We will be back love the fact this place has a ZERO tolerance for BS as that's the atmosphere I enjoy. Keep it going!

I've been to Vegas so many times but have always wanted to come here and finally that I make it not what I expected. For all the first timers please keep in mind no bags allowed or they will charge you 20 bucks to store it no seating on any of their lounge chairs unless you are willing to spend 1000dollars or more depending on where you want to sit price does go up so come early when the open at 11 am so you can sit on the edge of the pool. Drinks are expensive so be prepared and keep an eye on them I spent 52 dollars on a drink and I still had a little bit of half left but since I was sitting on the edge of the pool I put my drink down next to my stuff so I can take a quick dip in the pool and the staff goes around picking up any drinks left on the edge ! Not cool after that we just left went back to the hotel and enjoyed the pool

Watch what u sign over there had a waitress named Alyssa take the full payment for the table in cash with her tip on Labor Day and told me to please still Fill out closing table slip which I didn t realize was a my debit card slip she knowingly took over a thousand dollars . And still made tip on the card . I made the mistake regretfully . When explained to management they neither wanted to hear nor spend the time to review the cameras to try and resolve the issue . The manager rich over there made false statements to mgm head security in the matter to cover for his employee stealing the money from us . No resolution was made . BEWARE shady ass business practice .

Over crowded, garbage everywhere it was in the pool and covering the walkways. No chairs except paid for tables, 60 lockers and no where else to keep your personal items. No shade. Recommended to get there at 11 and headliner, Calvin Harris, did not play till after 3. Chicken tenders plate 22$ from over crowded bar with no where to sit and eat. $100 for six pack of Corona cans. Terrible experience overall with a sunburn to boot.

STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND here! Had a horrible experience here this past weekend. Decided to choose this pool party on Saturday for my girls and I, for my bachelorette, and it was unfortunately not worth all the money we spent. We had bought a private cabana. For starters, before we even entered here, we were told by another group, that this place "is like a prison". Which, at the time I thought they were exaggerating, but they weren't. The day started off with having our bags checked, and we were asked to put a few items away (just a ring float for my drink and a few pool toys) so my maid of honor had to walk all they way back to store our items. Once we got settled in our cabana we were served our bottle service shared among the ten of us. With COVID we were asked to try and maintain our distance in the pool, which we respected for the most part. As the day went on things continued to be fine, but once the pool was about to close in thirty minutes, my maid of honor was asked to leave because she was "too intoxicated". We tried to calmly ask what exactly had she done for her to be kicked out. They continued to not give as an exact answer. Things escalated quickly after that. More of the party started to be kicked out because they couldn't give us an exact answer and at this point the workers knew they were in the wrong. As we all collected our things one of the workers had finally told us that my maid of honor was kicked out because of three strikes. Not one person had warned her to watch herself and not one worker told her she had any strikes against her. The 3 strikes against her were : she was crying (for personal reasons), she was dancing on another girl and the third, because she tripped over a step. Now, I am not saying she didn't have alcohol in her system, because she did. Because we paid for bottle service. Because it was a POOL PARTY. I am saying she was nowhere near the point of being kicked out. On top of that we noticed that as soon as we closed our last tab is when they decided to kick us out. Also, while I am throwing out other points....there were several other people who had fallen that day, several other people who were 'grinding on each other'. It is really disappointing the terrible customer service we were given. And again, I strongly would not recommend this place. I would personally recommend Marquee Pool Club, because we had a table reserved there the night before and had no problems!!! Thank you

Awesome pool larty and a fun time. However it is incredibly crowded and insanely expensive. Make sure to do your drinking before coming here. Also, not a lot of places to hang out with all the crowds, and the guards will move you along if you do want to hang out outside of the pool.
