The wet republic should of been a good time but I was overcharged by there waitress staff. I ordered a Day bed for Labor Day
for myself and another couple. I signed for a receipt of $1,150 total and when I returned from my trip my back account was charged $1,920.00 in charges. The receipt was signed by the waitress of the wet republic she forged my signature and took a large tip for herself and the bus boy. I have called and disputed this with my bank and the Mgm sent them the falsified documents. I called Mgm and disputed this and haven t heard anything in return. Be careful and make sure to pay cash at the Wet republic they will take advantage you otherwise as well!!!
30 dollars to get in unless you are female then it cost 20. If you have too much gear you have to cough up 60 for a locker. No where to sit unless you pay a fortune. Left after an hour as I kept getting moved on my security.
Great place to hang out with your girlfriends! Ladies get in free if you get on the guest list on the website. $20 drink minimum isn't too bad considering I got in free, but if I had to pay a cover I probably wouldn't have gotten a drink. Not too crowded and good music!
Security was remarkable and we had a great time watching the chain smokers. Wish i didnt keep getting drenched with champagne tho.
Expensive, crowded, and unsanitary. Might as well hang out in the Lazy River.
The worst place in the world! Glass of alcohol cost 25$ the DJ up to stage after 3 hours from beginning of the party
Good pool, kinda pricy drinks even for that area. I was on a Saturday so it's possible the drinks are cheaper mid week.
Didn't use the pool; too cold in the evening but the venue is fantastic...lots of seating; TVs all around; space for dancing; great food (they do a excellent job of presentation and access to the food); and quality staff that made it all run smoothly!
Went there 9/29/18 for Steve Aoki.
I've been to better pool parties in Vegas. Only giving it 2 stars because the people I met were cool and Steve Aoki is always great to see!
The pool has a TON of chlorine it BLEACHED OUR SWIMSUITS!!!!
I suggest bringing as little with you as possible or pay an arm for a locker.
Someone mistook my shorts for theirs and now I'm stuck with H&M shorts that dont fit!! #IWANTMYBLACKSHORTSBACK if you have them, i have yours! Lets swap back! Lmao. Also Get on a Guest List (free entry) or get a Daybed/Cabana pool is so small! And the water gets pretty murky.
Pics are swimsuit. Had to turn it inside out to get original color.
As long as you accept the fact you will spend an exorbitant amount of money on drinks (or even a locker), you will have a great time!
Drinks are good, sound system is great. If u don't pay for a cabana then plan on standing or being in the main pool. The smaller second pool is cabana only
Overpriced ..overcrowded
It would be nice if you didn't have to pay four thousand dollars for a seat
Nice spot and good music. However, very overpriced drinks and also keep an eye on your valuables, if they're taken the staff are worse than useless.
Best to enjoy sober and take no valuables....other than that, good spot.
I had a blast! The pool however was pretty grimy. Just drink a lot so you don't notice.
We had so much fun here for the Steve Aoki pool party, and heard great things about other events offered here. Lockers run you about $50 so try to remember your own waterproof containers.
Had such a good time especially since Tiesto was there!
Attended a party here for a conference; very cool venue!
Amazing when youre in the cabanas. Super expensive drinks tho and wild lines.
Very nice, kids loved it! Weather got cold and rainy, so we weren't able to enjoy very long.
We'll be back tomorrow!
Do not bring a large purse or bags they charge you $20 to keep it in the purse check area not allowed in
Excellent pool are with refreshing drinks. Enjoyed working on my tan and relaxing here.
Don t do business with them. Let me repeat, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They are crooks. If you try to buy a cabana, they will pressure people in your group to hurry up and finish drinks, so that you can quickly go over your limit. They will have people purchase stuff without consulting the owner of card. They will bring random girls to flirt and help finish your drinks and food, then said girls will leave. Then they will pressure you buy more food and drinks, since suddenly you re out of everything. They will throw away half way full drinks. You will fight the false charges if you re smart and sober enough to catch it, and they will agree to remove it, but then days later they will go back and add the original false charge. I warned you in advance, and either heed my advice and go elsewhere, or get burned like I, and many others did.
I paid $ 65.00 to enter and $ 50.00 to drink ... but the crowd is beautiful and lively
Very nice place! Lazy river cool. Lots of people around, sometimes too crowded!
If you are looking for an over the top pool party experience. This is the place to go. Just be prepared to be surrounded by a bunch of sun loving fun seekers. It is loud, it is crowded, the drinks are expensive. But it's all worth it and you will make some great memories and have a great time.
If you have a chance to go, book it!!! Incredible time, for my first time in Vegas!!
It was abit full and the drinks were really expensive. No where to sit other than the edges of the pool by the steps. They could of done with alot more shade and seating for the lesser paying guests
Sick pool parties. We saw Calvin Harris when we were there. Ice cold CO2 jets blast you every time the beat drops which is nice on the 115 degree days. Drinks are very expensive but it's Vegas so they are expensive everywhere.
Really disappointing
Rude staff
Super expensive drinks
Dirty water
Over crowded
You cannot being your back pack and 50 dollars for a locker (25 cents token lokers ) 40 dollars for a slush
Music is okey nothing especial
Wet repoff lic
Great pool party venue with TOP performer's @ MGM Grand. Recommend it to everyone. Only know that if you want to purchase drinks or food, it's going to cost you an arm and a leg. Otherwise, it's a blast! PS: Once you're in, you can't re-enter if you leave.
Pretty cool place but I think it's crazy how much they charge to go to a pool.
Really awesome. You have to be 21to get in to the pool area
Had a fantastic day, the DJ was awesome great tunes.
I ve never been here. I wouldn t give them one star! HOWEVER, recently a woman was escorted away from the public because was pumping breastmilk for her baby. She was covered under a towel, under a cabana when she was approached and told she couldn t pump there.... she was escorted and hidden away from everyone and they posted A SECURITY GAURD WITH HER WHILE SHE PUMPED MILK FOR HER CHILD.
They have removed the ability to comment on their Instagram instead of releasing a formal statement or apology to the mother and the public. They have received tons of attention on that account from women all over the world. What this says about this is business is that they lack knowledge on their state laws in regards to breastfeeding/pumping as it is PERFECTLY LEGAL, they lack professionalism and integrity and they clearly have a problem with being held accountable. Instead of owning up the blatant discrimination and igornant treatment of this woman they have hidden away and chose to show that the owners and the business don t have a backbone and crappy business practices.
What I find most disturbing is that their business uses the over sexualization of women bodies to promote their establishment, this is obviously not a unique practice but it is problematic. The double standard this company is embracing/selling is that it s ok to use breasts to sell and promote business but when used for their natural purpose they discriminate and take away a woman s legal rights to pump/breastfeed. This is utterly ridiculous, shady, ignorant, uneducated and unprofessional.
I truly hope that the owners will address this but I doubt they will after what we have seen on their Instagram account. I will be posting on their Facebook and yelp because I believe it is important to hold businesses accountable when they are clearly in the wrong. The message they are sending to potential clients is this: we lack a backbone and don t know how to be professional in the wake of controversy. I speak my opinion as a mother and if I am ever in Las Vegas I would never give them my business after seeing how they have handled this situation.
Pretty much what I expected. Fun time party atmosphere.
Don't waste your time or money. Absolute rip off. $40 for drinks, can't sit on side of pool. Overcrowded. Absolutely horrible. Only way to do it is a cabana....if you can afford it. Never again!
Yes beautiful; several inbound checks; inside, if there is no special guest (and if there is no price, it is affordable, around $ 30) the music will almost certainly be hip hop / r & b; black complexion in power (nothing racist, indeed), and lots of great company from all over the world! 32oz drink $ 45 but at least without measuring cup
Nice place but a DJ is needed in a pool party even if there are not many people .....
Lines moved very slow. Fun event however. $50+ dollar drinks but worth it.
Staff was helpful but over price. Not flexiable at all have to buy seating that you can t even choose. When ask if can get another seat they said not available. Obviously it was a cold day and none is here. So I don t know who reserved already. Cause it s first come first serve.
It's illogical to wear a mask when youre tanning outside.
Attended a White Party thrown by a work vendor when in Vegas. The location and staff were awesome!
At first it was difficult to find a place to sit or lay down, but the staff and waitresses were very accommodating and made the experience fun and worth while! Be aware that no snacks, drinks, or even empty bottles are allowed. The fee to hold items is a whopping $20 so leave EVERYTHING in your room!
An amazing pool club! Quick and easy to get inside! During EDC week, basically entry is free from many promoters that are outside offering free guestlist or entry admissions!
Ladies, no big bags allowed. You got to check them in
Overhyped. No shade, cemented floor and a kiddy pool. Expected much more when came there. Spent at best 15 minutes and left to an other hotel.
The lazy River and island in the middle was fantastic it was beautiful out their staff was great very funny very helpful we had just a wonderful time on our staycation thank you signature hotel MGM I'm making everything is so wonderful for us
Of the best pool parties, they can't stop not going
Every where I stood around the main pool, a guard told me I couldn't stand there. Both sides and the back. The back of the pool I understand because you can't block those reserved areas. There's a tiny walkway between the front booths and pool that I wasn't shooed away from. I think they try to corral you into the main pool which gets pretty gross after a while. So we went to the side pool which was cleaner but you don't have a clear view of the dj booth because there are tall bushes in the way. They mostly want you to reserve a bed or cabana $$$$ otherwise you're told to move to places that they will tell you to move away from later. The bartender we had was awesome, he even made a mock tail for our 1 pregnant friend, we spent the $45/ea on 5 souvenir cups but then as we were in the smaller pool and our cups (with drinks still in them) were on the ledge by our stuff, an employee scooped up 4 of them thinking it was trash so I tried waving them down to say NO STOP WAIT THOSE ARE ALL MINE! A day bed guard saw was happened and asked did I want those? I said yeah! So what did she do? Nothing. Didn't try to help me out or chase her coworker down. There goes $180 worth of souvenirs. By the end of the day there were multiple lime wedges, fries, and chicken tenders floating in the pool. Not from us. The next day we went to Encore Beach Club and had a way better time.
All those people at the entrance are fkn rude af like if I came to ask for charity. Bret the bartender was really cool. All in all it was I good experience but the get a bad review for the bouncers.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, the drinks aren't super expensive, and the DJ's are top notch. I had a blast here and I will for sure be coming back the next time my favorite DJ is playing.
I couldn't get in bcs I had hand sanitizer and and unopened pack of gum in my bag
Expensive, and super disorganized place, the promoters promise something that is not true, giant queues purposed for terms that pay dearer and very full. Run away
Fun, energetic party scene that could use a few improvements. Upon arrival you have to check bags if they are drawstring which we couldn't find listed on the website, as we were renting a locker for our items/bag.
When checking the bag multiple people left their ID in the bag as we had already been through security, yet at the bars you need ID to use credit card. A simple sign at security and put front could have saved a lot of headaches.
We did not purchase a pool side table, but for the amount of money they cost they have absolutely no shade. They should have some sort of umbrella as the folks in those sections were all complaining about the lack of shade at there $10k table.
Fun time just feel like with a few customer service items this place could be significantly better.
pools are nice, pretty expansive, however wet republic itslef for pool parties kinda small. hardly any shade unless youre in the bar
Slushie drinks are practically non-alcoholic and they charge you like $50 for them. Don't buy them.
