A very pleasure stay in the dormitory.
Dormitory - each bed have curtain for privacy, two electricity plugs, and reading lights. I don't know about other rooms, but the lower beds in my room have space between it and the wall, so my stuff can be kept out of way and out of breach. This is small stuff especially for dorm rooms, but they provide fresh towels that smell really good.
Entrance is using key card, so its safer and more comfortable than regular keys.
Downside: door is heavy and makes quite a noise when opened / closed. But the bed is comfortable, I wasn't bothered throughout the night.

Bathroom - very spacious and have many stalls. Its very clean too.
I would suggest to add more wall hanger near the sink to hang towels and stuff.

Laundry - available with coin. I didn't try it, but from the look of the place I guess the machines are well maintaned and countable.

Staffs - the best part. They are very helpful and speak good english. Had a nice long conversation with Nan the owner (hope I spell this correctly) and she recommends many things.

Other suggestion I would like to give: provide drinking water station in the common space. We need less plastic bottles.

Overall, very recommended, I'd stay here again if I return to Kanchanaburi.

Hotels, cafes, restaurants of all kinds, in the cafe zone, restaurants have pound cakes for sale with cute little pound cakes. As for the hotel, the rooms are good, spotlessly clean, fully equipped, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms. The hotel is on the roadside. But the entrance to the car park is in the next alley. There is a covered car park with a walkway for dragging your luggage into the hotel. There are many types of seats. Can support a lot of customers

Totally correct service, in accordance with my stay on this site.
Breakfast a little meh, although the Thai tea they prepare is very tasty.
The room when we return after a day out is an oven, we had a room that had the sun all day.
The reception girls are very friendly and helpful.

There are three stars, the fourth is for the attention and concern of the boss. Reasonable price, rather small rooms and manageable (previously selectable) breakfast.

WesTory is a chic hostel in Mueang district, Karnchanaburi province. The hostel's lobby is reminescent of an English pub and the rest of the hostel is decorated to show the key elements of Karnchanaburi province such as the River Kwai and the railroad to Myannmar. There are both private and dorm rooms available at reasonable prices. In addition, the hostel has a coffee shop and bar, restaurant, and other facilites.

WesTory is a bare cement loft style hostel. Before decorating the lights, Warm White color adds a warm feeling.
Rooms are not very large. Below is a beautiful photo corner.

The hotel is in the center, close to the metro station and next to a local bar that serves wonderful rice! Cozy room the kitchen of the hotel is splendid! Worth it!

Very cool decoration. There is a breakfast to choose from. The set is not bad, but the drink tastes very sweet. Very good location in town near Om Fai Kai. And near many other delicious restaurants

This was the last hostel my friends and I stayed in during our 3 week trip through Thailand and we definitely saved the best for last. The staff at WesTory Kanchanaburi were so welcoming and helpful. We checked in later than expected (delayed flight) and the tour package that we wanted to book with was full. Nan and Mink helped us get in contact with a private taxi that would take us to all the stops we wanted to see, for a much cheaper price than the tour group. They even recommended to stop at Mallika city and it was so much fun! Aside from the amazing & friendly staff, the building is very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very clean. And the food from the restaurant downstairs was delicious. My group and I all agreed that this was our favourite hostel that we stayed in by far and 10/10 would recommend staying here!

WesTory is an excellent hostel and I would stay here over and over again. In total I spent 6 nights to explore the area and many sights around Kanchanburi. The hostel is a perfect starting point, as the bus station is within 15 minutes walking distance and from there all buses depart. I would like to especially emphasize the service and the friendliness of all staff members.
They make the hostel a very special place and have helped me with many tips to filter out the best sights. I was in a 6er room and it was super clean, the beds are excellent and the bathroom very clean and spacious. Wifi and Aircon are flawless. The breakfast is very tasty and you can wash your clothes and rent a bike if necessary. The attached bar and restaurant have something for every taste. I especially liked the design, because here you notice that the hostel is planned and managed with heart. Thanks to the whole WesTory team. I'll be back again.

OK to stay, helpful staff. Not happy with Air Con, blowing direct to the bed.

Staffs were helpful and speak fluent English. I stayed in family room for 2 nights. The place was very clean. But the air conditioner didn t work properly.

Stayed here for three nights during my visit to Kanchanaburi. The rooms and common areas are tastefully designed and decorated. Located on the main road through Kanchanaburi city, the bridge and restaurants are within easy access. For the price, there are few better options in the area.

Really cute poshtel near the bus and rail station and away from the backpacker Street. Super clean and well designed and the staff were lovely and breakfast was good! A chilled out place with families and couples, but a bit of a walk to the bridge over river Kwai.

One star taken off because the restaurant next door had loud karaoke into the night both nights I was there so was hard to get some peace..

Stay here for 1 night in the room. But at night, the sound of music comes from outside. If it is difficult to sleep It may be a little difficult. But the accommodation has ear plugs for you. The breakfast is delicious.

I stayed in WesTory for two nights as part of a long term Asian backpacking trip, in August 2018. I have been lucky to stay in some good hostels, but this place was amazing, and totally unexpectedly so. The design of the building is ultra modern, while still being very cosy. The dorm beds were super comfortable, had every convenience (charging points, reading lights etc.) and excellent privacy screens. There were large lockers in the rooms, and the bathroom and shower facilities were by far the best I have experienced in Asia. The entire facility is spotlessly clean and the included breakfast was delicious! However, the best thing about this Postel is the service from the staff, who are so helpful, speak excellent English and are very knowledgeable about local attractions etc. One of the managers even gave myself and my two companions a lift to the train station when we were running late and refused payment for doing so!!! I had only visited Kanchanaburi to see the Erwan falls, and wish I had allowed more time as there is so much to do and see there. I would advise any travellers to research the area properly (unlike me) before visiting. I will definitely be back, and will definitely stay at WesTory again!

We stayed here for one night while visiting the local history (bridge, cemetery and museum). This place is awesome. I really enjoyed the train theme used for design. Staff is very friendly and speaks English well (I do not speak Thai).

I stayed on the night of October 13, room 502 went to bed at 11 pm. At 2 am, I was wake by the sound of the air conditioner. Patiently until 3.30 am, told the Reception, So she send the technician up. Technician said, "I turned on the air conditioner fan too hard." GIVE ME A BREAK!!!, This is three o'clock Do I have to sit and argue with technician for this topic???

He agreed to change to room 403, At 5 am startled with the same problem, Was a very bad experience With a hotel calls itself Stylish Design Poshtel . Bye Bye my sweet vacation

Narrow room, A lot of dust, Pillows are very dirty, there are yellow stains. I don't know how many times they used it.

Fair design But basic service work is very poor. Not recommendations at all. Next time who go to Kanchanaburi stay at Hop Inn or Kanokan or anywhere. But not here !!!

It was a great time staying in this hotel. Good customer service, friendly people and clean rooms and wonderful food. I appreciate the overall design and theme of the hotel reminded me of the Second World War. Loved the ambience of being in that era.

The hotel is a nice loft style in concrete and steel. The concern is at the desk level. It is the only hotel (there were 22) to request a deposit for the room card. And this is not surprising because 5 minutes later you are told that you have had 3 cards when not. 1 only! And we raise you 6 times all evening and at lunch to ask for 3 cards that we have never had. In the end, it is therefore a means of illegally debiting you, an illegal deposit in Thailand. And when we ask for a sweet dish for breakfast we answer "no" because by booking we have a simple lunch and not sweet. The hotel is not bad. The rest is zero. /. A modern poshtel in Kanchanburi where the owner and staffs were very accommodating and kind. Location wise is also great, near the war cemetery and the bridge of river kwai.

Great hotel. Fantastic staff, they were very helpful with any questions we had. I had accidentally booked for the wrong month, this wasn't a problem for them and they sorted it out for us straight away.

We rented the hostel bicycles for a quick cycling trip. They were pretty basic and heavy but they did the job okay.

Rooms are nicely decorated, the overall design of the hotel is very stylish.

My only minor complaint was that the air con took a very long time to cool the room down. Also, it would also have been nice to be able to be able to book day trips through the hostel's reception.

Wonderful 'posh' hotel and hostel. Very new, only open 2 months. Bunks have curtains, power outlet and lamp. Beautiful design, most beautiful poshtel I have stayed so far in Thailand. For the hostel part: Bathrooms separated female/male, they were just about to introduce female-only dormitories when I stayed with them. They also have hotel like rooms which are beautiful. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Great location between JETAH museum/night market and bar-street on the other side, everything is walkable. Best hotel/hostel in Kanchanaburi for sure!

A very cosy and nice setup located in the city centre and less than 1km away from the bus station.

The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, being able to help you with organising taxis, renting scooters, or even just pointing you towards local hotspots.

The rooms are great, where I reserved a private room and had a private bathroom. Having a private room will naturally cost more than a hostel setup, but the price wasn't steep for two nights and well worth it.

The hostel is aesthetically pleasing and comes with a restaurant with reasonably priced meals so you don't need to go too far out to find your next meal.

Had a wonderful time and experience at WesTory. I highly recommend the place.
