Westin Excelsior Rome Review

The ber on the 0th floor has a cocktail made by blending your favorite fragrance and it is very interesting and delicious.
Fragrance to drink. This is great to experience once.

The indoor environment, bed, bath, etc. are very close to a familiar hotel and calm down. (I stayed at the hotel, staying at the hotel, and stayed in the Heavenly Bed room at The Westin Tokyo about 15 years ago.

Fitness is not available after 9 o'clock, but I am happy that I can use it freely with a card key.

A hotel suitable for staying in the second half of the trip, giving guests a good image of Italy.


This hotel's decafe cappuccino is very delicious.

The hotels we stayed in Italy did not have toothbrushes or mouthwashes, but the Westin group hotels were found in Singapore.

If possible, rent a yoga mat to your room.

Breakfast is also very enjoyable.

The property is located in the center of Rome, very rich cozy comfortable facilities at the height of the structure, very knowledgeable, professional and always helpful and friendly. So my experience was definitely positive.

I spent a night there years ago and I remember it as dreamy, with a very good breakfast.

room was on street side, sounded like cars were in the room, in need of renovation. they could get some tips on breakfast from the westin excelsior in Florence. The staff also need training to stay with the customers that have been standing in line, and not help people who randomly walk up and ask questions. I won't stay here again.

Old building so no coffee maker but they bring you one free cup per day. The Continental/American breakfast is over priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is beautiful.

Enjoy to have breakfast early, because they do not usually replace what is ending.

Built in 1906, The Westin Excelsior Rome has an impressive pedigree in the Via Veneto district. Furnished in grand old style with modern high tech gadgets, hand-fresco ed cathedral style domes, its own private fitness room, sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi, and a formal dining room, it's a perennial favorite for those who deem money to be no object.

Just got back from this hotel. It's location is ideal. Just a short walk to the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon.
The staff are amazing. They are extremely helpful and attentive.
The rooms are enormous by North American standards and extravagant by European standards. The beds are really comfortable, although the pillows are typically hotel lousy.
Be aware this is a typical luxury with exceedingly overpriced breakfasts. Expect to pay over 100 Euros for a family of four. Absolutely crazy!

Perhaps the most important Hotel in Rome for the position certainly in the Via Veneto of the dolce vita .... for those who can afford it ....

Excelsior is a Fantastic and Grand and beautiful Hotel with top service that still keep the charm of the "Good Old Days " I stayed there already in 1970 with my family.Good memories for life.

Stunning hotel. Rooms are massive and gorgeous. Lobby and other public spaces, like the bar, are visually stunning.

Since we first got to the hotel the staff have been extremely accommodating. They go out of their way to provide you with a unique experience that is what your are looking for, whether it is asking for restaurant or trip recommendations. They are their to help you make your stay a memorable one. The rooms are extremely beautiful and the hotel it self is in the city center so you are not far from most of the main attractions in Rome.

I ve just spent the last 2 days here while doing some filming in Rome. The hotel is spacious, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, but I m leaving this review because the staff go above and beyond to help you. I actually just had a couple of my
Camera parts stuck together, which meant I couldn t pack the gear up to fly home. The two guys in the luggage hold room took it down to a workshop, prized the parts apart and saved what would have been an extremely stressful journey home. Thank you so much. I will be back the next time I m filming here!

I LOVED this hotel!
Well located, you can walk pretty much anywhere if you like walking.
Beautifully decorated. Live music most nights. Spotless clean. Great service.
They even have a service where you can borrow workout clothes so you don't have to pack all that stuff. I didn't use it but thought it was a great idea.
Concierge gave us great tips on where to dine and made us reservations also.
We'll definitely stay here again when in Rome.

The views from the sixth floor are amazing.... The room was more than I could imagine. and the only thing that bet the amazing room was the service. It was top 10 all time and I travel. When I come back I'm coming here. Please when you get here. I know Rome is amazing take look around the hotel the spa, bar and music are amazing. The food. I had to order room service because my feet was hurting from going round Rome. The jumbo club sandwich was awesome.

The Excelsior is special. The bar is very luxurious and there is often a pianist. The spa is very beautiful, not to mention the suites with gym and all the imaginable options available. Really top

Great location, all sights can be done on foot. Close to dreaming and rock cafe. Top hotel, room, service ... etc. Price a little above but fair for the quality and location.

The hotel is little bit run down...poor service. It dosent justify with the hotel name and the services that they render. Its very disappointing. Bathroom very rundown.
When we book through the website....the picture that they posted looks very deceiving. Telephone line in the room was down...when i wanted to contact the concierge & room service. Bathroom has got no toothbrush. It was very dissapointing.

Greeting wasn't there upon arrival, price is high for what you get in comparison to other hotels. Room was fine, breakfast was so so in teems of freshness of food, layout and service. Would stay again but would try another hotel first next time.

Absolutely gorgeous SPG property. Fantastic lobby, restaurant, lounge area, and fitness center. They were limited in SPG platinum upgrades and they don t have any sort of hospitality suite. Rooms are beautiful!!

The place is distinguished by the American Embassy, the small Oasis is full of tea or coffee

Amazing hotel in the heart of Rome. You can just walk to all the sites from here. Clean large room super service. The interior of the hotel is so rich and beautiful that after the end of the day its great to relax in the lobby. The Internet speed in the lobby could be better. There is no view out of our room but can't complain the interior of the room is like a mini Palace.

I found it very well it was a fantastic place and I recommend it to everyone.

Pleasant to stay in a fabulous place, with princely rooms and sparkling chandeliers. Excellent common areas such as the gym and the indoor pool. But what makes the difference is the humanity of the staff, always affable and attentive to every need.

This is an extraordinary Starwood property. One of the more unique hotels I have ever stayed it. The rooms are like from an old Italian movie but the comfy beds and bathroom are still very modern and elegant. The staff are always happy and willing to help. Thanks for an amazing stay!
