Westin Excelsior Rome Review

Most of the luxury collection hotels I have been to just seem like old buildings. Which carry a lot of downsides. The Excelsior had none of the downside. The room we stayed in could be updated. However the room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The noise isolation in the room was very good as well you don't hear other guest like I often do in other old buildings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We had a great time at the Excelsior and would definitely stay here again.

The location is wonderful. Walking distance to some tourist attraction. Etc Spanish steps, trevi fountain.

This place was really nice and worth the extra money. The room made me feel like I was sleeping in a castle.

Located in Central Rome, The Westin Excelsior is ideally situated for you to visit any location in the city. The Spanish Steps are 15 minutes away on foot and the Trevi Fountain is another 10_15 from there. The hotel itself is well staffed More

Very prestigious, the live piano is just delicious. courteous staff and always in a good mood. The concierges are just great.

room was on street side, sounded like cars were in the room, in need of renovation. they could get some tips on breakfast from the westin excelsior in Florence. The staff also need training to stay with the customers that have been standing in line, and not help people who randomly walk up and ask questions. I won't stay here again.

Gorgeous hotel, staff were awesome and helpful. Kinda a maze to find my room but it was beautiful when I found it. Wonderful food and drinks! Great location for walking to nearby sites.

I was there this week for a party organized by the Quatar embassy. All very nice impeccable service.

we lived a large delegation in this hotel.
on the night of leaving my colleagues' room stole a wallet.
a wallet with money was stolen from the table when a person slept in the room.
the manager said that the camera does not shoot this room
from the other room, two original Armani sweaters were missing.
this is not a complete list of the missing
we are very sorry that in such a beautiful and expensive hotel is so unsafe

Well located in an old building. Large room with classic decoration. Good breakfast

Great location to stay in Rome. The hotel is historic so they do not allow coffee pots or irons in the rooms, however they will bring you hot coffee in the morning for no charge. The staff is awesome as well. No executive lounge in this hotel either.

Nothing to say. Excellent location, professionalism and competence. A hotel worthy of the area. Also excellent for conferences and meetings.

The location a bit far from the subway station and need to walk about 10min to reach the hotel, but if you know how to take the bus that will be convenient. The hotel services and stay is pretty nice, a nice experience for me in my 4 days trip in Rome~

I loved this property. Beautiful hotel, great location, spacious rooms. Bar and restaurant were both fantastic. Staff was helpful and made a nice dinner recommendation. We will stay here again.
