Absolutely beautiful. Went there for a team appreciation party for Carfax. Was amazed with the service and professionalism throughout the entire night.

We had issues checking in, even though there were plenty of rooms available and we had conformation numbers. The woman at the front desk was very rude. Hotel food and drinks were outrageously priced and mediocre. Service was not good in the restaurant. We had to wait forever for our checks on two different occasions. A bottle of water is $5 at the front desk and a cheeseburger is $15 in the restaurant. If you want an alcoholic beverage they are about $10 a piece. The rooms DO NOT have a microwave. Our refrigerator did not keep things cold. The pool was NOT OPEN on a Friday in June because there was no lifeguard available?!?!?!!!! They also charge for internet unless you are a Marriot Rewards member $12.95 a day. Me, my husband, in laws and 2 year old stayed for a week in separate rooms for a group event and will not be back! The only positives were the door men and room cleaners were very nice. The hotel is also pretty to look at and it has a fitness room and indoor/outdoor pool. But what good is a pool of you can't even use it?
Internet was not free and no free breakfast, but the beds were very comfortable
Very nice room, hotel and location. It's rare to fine a room so quiet, comfortable and cozy
I was pleasantly surpassed by the quality of the food at the company holiday party i attended. I've been to this hotel for other professional functions, which typically go very smoothly as well. Well done.
Went to the parking lot to play Pokemon Go. Seemed like there was a wedding it something going on because the parking lot was packed.
Very nice hotel, great staff and location. Looking forward to my next visit.
Besides for horrible housekeeping the rest of our 10day stay was perfect
Gorgeous hotel. Attended a wedding here. It's near Dulles so you get some overhead airplane noise but still a cool place to visit.
Arrive to a full parking lot and a long walk in the rain, parking lot layout is not ideal. The Gathering Hall was adequate. Afterwards had snacks and drinks all of which were far beyond expectation. You have to try the honeycomb.
This is actually a really nice hotel. The beds are super nice and the rooms are very spacious with giant, bright windows. The first time I stayed here was great.
However, BEWARE, the 2nd time I stayed I was surrounded by super loud teenagers who ran around yelling and playing music until super late. My advice to Marriott is to not put business travelers or people traveling without children in the middle of a giant youth group.
There is no free WiFi and it costs $13 per day for slow speed and $15 per day for high speed. The rest of the hotel is very average compared to other hotels of the same price range. Overall do not stay here
The room I reserved was not available. Which kind of defeats the purpose of reservations.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! They charge for Wi-Fi without letting you know. I won't make that assumption ever again. $14 for Wi-Fi here and motel 6 has it for free or pay $5 for high speed.
Great rooms, nice and quiet location. Conveniently located near Dulles airport.
I was there for a gala in one of their ballrooms, not a hotel guest. I thought the food was good, not great. One of the servers at our table was rude. Following dinner, she brought one of each tea bag flavor to our table. Shame on me for wanting a flavor someone else selected! She audibly blew, and demonstrated quite a bit of frustration with me. Very inappropriate.
The hotel is gorgeous, but parking is a nightmare if you are there for a conference. Plan to get Valet.
The accommodations are nice and most of the staff are excellent, however there were a couple of staff members in the bar who continually provided lackadaisical service - leaving the room for minutes before filling a beer or water or even being willing to take an order. If your idea of good service comes at a high price and snobby staff, then this place is definitely for you. If not, you may likely be happier elsewhere.
They were overpriced for the quality of the food. Vegetable Soup was $7 and was made with tasteless broth and Frozen mixed vegetables. The security/shuttle driver was awesome!
The staff were exceptional. I've never stayed in a conference hotel with this level of service and perfectionism. Everything was spotless.
The parking situation sucks and there is no free WiFi in the rooms.
Wellington restaurant has bed burgers around. Ut also extended menu. Suites are beautifully appointed
This Marriott is located near Dulles airport, though not as close as the Marriott actually at the airport, or the Marriott Suites. It's only 15 minutes away, but you do have to deal with some traffic rushing towards or away from the district during certain times of day. The payoff for being further away is the secluded location, and the old mansion/retreat feel to the property. The rooms are very nice, if not especially modern, and the service is good. The hotel restaurant, the Wellington, is very good, and better than most hotel restaurants.
Beautiful property both inside and out. Food and accommodations were excellent.
Went there to pick up a friend. Super fancy and nice looking inside.
The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable. The staff attempt to be helpful.
Unfortunately, poor preparation and communication had put a big damper on my wedding stay here. When I arrived the staff was almost at a loss for what to do even though we had specifically reserved wedding party and guest rooms, and had an event planner who was supposed to be assigned to coordinate our event at the hotel. I never spoke to her. The staff wasn't sure about anything, and the room reservation has been nothing short of a mess. I have been given the wrong room, and they charged the Maid of Honors room as $250 for a suite, discounted from some 300 dollar mark, but have them a standard room as well, which only cost $120 the following night. None of this is correct, and so far we have yet to fix this with the staff.
The hotel suffers from numerous only small problems that a hotel of this class and cost should definitely not be struggling with. At 11pm I wandered the hotel for 15 minutes searching for cold water to drink. The "ice and beverages" room only had an ice machine on my floor, so I searched for others but same result. Finally I went to the front desk and had to purchase a $3 bottle of water. I'm disappointed that this is the kind of experience I received the night before my wedding, and that despite reserving a large amount of rooms, we really didn't get much help, and that there was so much confusion from the staff; a hotel like this should be much more squared away.
The night of the wedding was a great improvement, and we were generally happy
The event staff is communicative, helpful, and flexible.
I was meeting a vendor and the experience in the lobby was fine, staff very friendly. No experience with the rooms though.
Love the ambience as you enter the Marriott. Very elegant.
We stayed here for two nights for a convention nearby. The hotel is gorgeous! The room was comfortable and very clean. We went into DC for a day, as well, and the metro was about a 30 min drive. We will definitely stay here again!!
Great location right in Chantilly. Great restaurant and conference/meeting room facilities. The best Marriott has to offer.
A gorgeous hotel with great rooms. The beds we're comfortable and I slept like a baby! the continental breakfast was the best I've had from a hotel but it was $19 and for that price I felt the selection was lacking. Overall, I'd come back for a nice getaway.
The conference center was great but parking is atrocious and the restaurant could not accommodate large parties.
Very clean and comfortable interior design. The atmosphere was amazing.
This is a hotel unlike any other. It's absolutely gorgeous. There was surprisingly very delicious food.
This hotel is in a beautiful wooded location, hidden from the nearby office parks. Rooms are clean and attractive with comfy beds. I stayed here for just one night on business travel recently and the staff were incredibly helpful, particularly the security department. They helped me locate a package that was shipped to me, and helped me with return shipping, even after I had checked out.
Very nice facility - clean - appealing surroundings - friendly and helpful staff
I was here overnight to attend a conference here. The rooms were great, the beds were comfy, I loved the smart TV that made it so easy to watch Netflix and Hulu and I loved the complimentary HBO. I enjoyed having a mini fridge and the shower was great as well. A good amount of water pressure and quick to warm up.
Wonderful place to get married. My parents were the 2nd people to get married their back in 1990. The inside is well designed.
Was there for a wedding: very nice and clean, friendly staff. Only down side: closed the bar earlier the they said they would, they said it would stay open to 1, closed before midnight :(
I would reccomend this hotel but be sure you know if there is a special event going on at the end of your stay. It turns out the day we are to check out that the hotel is shutting down for a group. The hotel failed to tell us that they expect us to check out at 8 am. We did not plan to check out until 12pm (The normal check out time). We learned about the expectation at 12:30 am.
At checkout we had issues with our bill that were not even resolved. One of the guests staying with us had issues with her bill. Our coach that was responsible for team rooms was charged $3500 twice which was an error that locked up his credit card.
I've never experienced anything like this in all my years staying at the Marriott. They definitely did not live up to their Gold Star Standard.
I will say be sure to meet Lydia in the bar. She is amazing!!!
Attended a wedding reception here. It was amazing! The food was fantastic, the decorations were beautiful, and the service was fast.
Great venue for a wedding. Facilities are excellent. Plenty of parking. Bar stayed open until late.
Gorgeous place and everyone is so attentive and friendly!
Rooms spacious and comfortable. Surprisingly isolated feeling considering distance to the surrounding office buildings.
Was there for a business seminar. Absolutely stunning foyer. The appetizers that we had were very delicious plentiful and the staff was very attentive.
This tucked away hotel is amazing. The rooms are nice, the staff is courteous, and their event planning is excellent
The stay here was great. The hotel was very accomodating. I will say, on Friday night there was a large event and at about 2AM in the hallway of my floor there was a very loud interaction that woke my family up, but other than that the place was awesome. The hotel restaurant food and room service was excellent. I appreciated the disposable nature of the room service "dishes".
Been coming to their Thanksgiving brunch for years. Absolutely fantastic service and great food every time.
Everything was great, nice rooms, nice people. Just... nice everything.
A classic and historic hotel in the Virginia area, this hotel has a welcoming ambiance as you walk up/into the lobby. Renovations have made it more current than the old architecture would lead you to believe. Staff is friendly, lobby bar is great, and meeting space is quite nice.
I really enjoyed this hotel. It is beautiful and a relaxing setting. The hotel room has a sink inside the bathroom and also one outside the bathroom. It has a nice gym, indoor and outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, a sauna and steam room. The Resturant offers a nice breakfast. We ate dinner and the food was good. I m looking forward to spending another relaxing weekend at this colonial style hotel.
Beautiful location and ideal for short romantic stays. For longer (4+ days) trips I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The premium price isn't justified with the number of small nuisances such as thermostats that don't do anything, cramped bathrooms, and inconvenient parking.
Nice exterior but they charge for everything including hot water for tea
Went there for a Christmas party for my husband's work. It was really nice and the food was good.
Great location, minutes from dulles airport, beautiful facility inside and out, top service
Loved this place. However I was overcharged and they won't respond. Too bad. - since responded and handled my issue professionally.
Excellent place for drinks and food, clean friendly atmosphere, we had a great time celebrating a co-worker's retirement. Parking was bit far but they will park your car for you.
Wedding event brought us to Westfield's Marriot, Chantilly. VA.. the 0.2 mile driveway was beautiful, the hotel is tucked behind tall green trees and a small Creek. Although, the hotel didn't give us the marriage event booked rates, we were whatever, we have to attend the wedding. The rooms was very good, a big couch, feature I love. Bathroom was good, it had a bathroom anteroom with a big mirror and sink again when dressing for a party several trips to the mirror was convenient because of this and room. Overall good and enjoyed for two days.
Beautiful hotel with plenty of amenities. Large conference rooms. Prices are reasonable. Place can be a maze to navigate around
