Western Golf and Country Club Review

I have played this outing at Western the last five years. The course was not in the prestine condition as it has been in years past. Fairways were a little unkept. Hope that was only because grounds crew at most clubs are off on Monday's. Service was still great !!

The golf course at this private Country Club is outstanding. A very challenging tract for a serious golfer.

Great course and very friendly staff. Definitely has that old style country club feel and you realize how close you are to Inkster/Detroit.

At a banquet right now and the staff is incredibly loud while we are trying to hear the speakers. The tent does not have any sound proof rooms and this is incredibly disrespectful. Providing banquets with 2 speakers that barely put out sound and a bar 2 feet away for golfers is impractical and should have been better thought out.

Great country club with variety of social events, plus great pool, tennis and golf options.

The course (tee boxes, fairway, greens) was only in fair condition, the staff were friendly and helpful; overall, it was an okay venue for the PIME outing. For a country club, I was rather surprised at the condition of the course.

Absolutely beautiful! Grounds and landscape are a 15 on a 1-10 scale!!

Everything about this place blows my mind. Before the fire every aspect was impressive, the membership open arms attitude, the staff just out of this world, hard working to please you. Now after the fire, the teamwork to put this golf tournament on is amazing. For now the building may be gone but what this club stands for is standing tall.

Beautiful and challenging course. Always have a good time playing golf and attending events at Western. Friendly members and staff.

I was not at the country club, I was at a garage sale a block away!

Terrible musty moldy smelling dark pit. Ice cold raw food (Chicken). Salad not cleaned wilted. Parking by side street only, make you walk 3 blocks to get in, down sidewalks with bushes across the sidewalk so you walk on grass. Horrible facility. No s try ars they make you give them something.

Absolutely fabulous food, drinks & service. Kayie was a very tentative server! Great experience!

Their motto is the club of good fellowship, and it holds very true. You won't find a better membership in southeastern Michigan.

Though its on the smaller side for a golf course, western golf doesn't lack in personality or beauty! The ground are maintained throughout all seasons.

My non-profit agency held our 32nd annual auction here tonight. The sales manager, server's, engineers, we're all awesome! They were helpful, friendly, welcoming, cheerful and went out of their way to make our event go off without a hitch. The food was excellent and the drinks were strong! Needless to say we will be back. Thank you!
