I read the reviews about this company a few weeks ago, seeing as how I just got a vehicle financed through them. Today was my first payment. I've had nothing but difficulty dealing with them already. My wife called to make a payment but couldn't due to not being on the account as a authorized payer. I called these people to add her to the account but was told that she can make payments on my behalf just by entering my account info. She doesn't need to be listed on the account. This contradicts what she was told. So, I waited 10 minutes and called back. I then spoke with some girl who absolutely sounded like she just rolled out of bed who gave me more contradictory info. I asked if there was a problem with the automated system and she basically told me "I don't know, I'm not certain at this time" and that I should just call and speak to a live representative when making payments. The problem is that these people charge you an extra fee to process the payments over the phone. Great job scamming extra money on the sly!!
I just got off the phone with customer service and BTW- YOU GUYS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Where you get off talking to customers in such a condescending tone????.
Customers are the engine that drives the rise or fall of any company, whether large or small. I would never in a million years recommend WF.
These people kept hanging up in my face every time I called them about an account that isn t in my name. Do not deal with these people at all, they are unprofessional and they really not trying to help you at all. After I told a representative that my Mom has already spoke to someone to authorized for them to speak to me since I m not on the account, they kept refusing to give me any information. I had to put it on 3 way just for them to give me information on the account about a payment. Again, DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AS A FINANCE COMPANY!!!!!!! I wish I could ve gave zero stars.
Employment opportunity seems amazing, but like everything else with Western Financial, a real disappointment. The problem being, the same as they treat the customer. They get you in the door, and then work to sell you on there program, and it is certainly not what was is proposed in the beginning! Fine tuning the employee, and offering a sustainable package, not throwing a rock in the hiring pool, and seeing what ripples up would be great way to start!

These loan company people had the guts to call my wife like 10 times in less than 5 hours and cause she did not answer they send a message treating her to repo her car (wich is only 12 days late and we just got paid to send the payment), maybe they might need to think like "the customer did not answer, maybe she is in an ICU with COVID-19 and can't answer her phone instead of treatening like stupids... and by the way in 4 years the car has NOT had a missing payment!. Intimidating my wife is very ridiculous !
I am a dealer and not enough training and fairly new so given wrong information. I contracted the first client was told everything looks great they can sign the contract and drive off. I was a little puzzled but than here we go no funding day one. I ask with no call from the actual company i had to wait for my field rep. so they say some things were entered wrong so we since corrected them. I ask on day 3 everything is accurate now what is the problem, they said no problem we are going to fund you. i wait another day and they call say the customer has not gave us insurance information. i said i supplied everything to you and you said it looked great let them drive off now i have a car out there with no funding from you and the customer might not have insurance. so this contract is signed the customer has drove off and i dont have any funds yet for the vehicle i threaten to get the car back, but they say they signed a contract so you cant. so no i have not got paid from western funding given wrong information and now cant even get my car back.
While I am grateful that this company financed my car at a time when my credit was not the best, these people are relentless. I do understand the importance of being on time with your payments, but I was ONE day late on a payment and they called me a *minimum* of four times. And left a 5 second voicemail of white noise, so you don't know who's trying to get in touch! But I caught on. Very unnecessary. And then when you do call for literally a n y t h i n g, every single person I've ever spoken to on the phone has had a sour attitude as if they had somewhere better to be. If you don't like your job, then don't work there. Don't put your negativity onto a stranger calling your place of business. I am so so so happy that I have finally paid off my car and don't have to deal with these employees or this company ever again.
My daughter and I bought a 2010 Toyota in march 2016. She didn't have a,job long and my credit score was not great. Put 3k down, for 48 months. During this 48mo we had 5 deferred payments due to financial hardship. January 2020 we were told that due to the deferred payments a loan extension will be required until August 2020. It's now Aug 2020 and they are coming up with owing a balloon payment of $1600. Never once on a contract, phone call or in writing anywhere is there a mention of a balloon payment. I swear I will have them come find the car before another penny is sent. If 0 stars could be awarded it wouldn't be low enough. Gotta be mob connected.
