Called about renting a certain lawnmower. When I got there, it wasn't working. To avoid getting in trouble, the staff there made a note that I changed my mind instead of saying they made a mistake. They have a lot of other good equipment though. It does matters who is working there that day.

Awsome entire crew . Tools for every task. & there Party line store is second to non. So if you are planning e EMT they are the place to go

Great service!. They took the time to answer all my questions and I was able to inspect and reserve the equipment on a relatively small job. The guy at Home Depot even recommended I go to WTR to rent equipment. Also, HD is first come, first serve and a lot of their stuff is under repair.

Maybe they're just focused on professional contractors, so they don't care about individual homeowners. That would partially explain why they were curt followed by out and out rudeness.

The guys that work there are great but the TOOLS ARE THE GARBAGE I RENTED OUT 3 DIFFERENT TYPES OF MACHINES AND I ALWAYS HAD BREAKDOWNS !!!! PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!!

We use this company for all our rental equipment needs in lower Fairfield county CT.
Never had a problem on time and on budget.

Great neighborhood shop for finding rental tools and to purchase building and garden related materials. I only wish they would wear face masks during this ongoing COVID pandemic!

I have rented tools and equipment from them over a 15 year period. Their advice as to the exact and correct tool or machine was invaluable, their prices were always fair and all their equipment worked exactly as advertised. I use ONLY them in the Southern Westchester area, and there are choices.

Ken and his staff are great. They work with you to make everything happen just talk to them. And their sister company Partyline Tent Rentals are just as good. I had a big corporate event at Playland in Rye and WTR and Partyline made it the greatest event.. over 33000 people over a weekend so logistics was key and they rose to tackle every concern... they do it all and make it happen!

Never rent anything from these guys. I called about a air compressor and they told me they had it so I reserved it. The day I show up to pick up the machine they tell me that it s in the repair shop. They tell me they would call me around noon to let me know if it will be working the following and they never called back.

This is my new favorite place for propane....great people, great prices, prompt service - happy Thanksgiving !!

Super helpful on the phone!! I was able to book my last minute reservation no problem. Not knowing what the tables look like or what to get, she was very helpful and patient with me. I haven't even picked up my rental yet and already I'd use them again.

I've lived in Ardsley 20 years. This is the first place I ever rented anything from, and I haven't been anywhere since. It's pretty simple. Reserve a tool. Show up. Guys check it out then load it up for you. Bring it back. Guys unload it. I had a question about which type of thrasher was better. Jay told me he had only used one type and that most customer preferred that. I appreciated the honesty!

They check everything before the send it out, and they run you through operating instructions. Have never had anyone be less than efficient and thorough. And I think generally, this biz category isn't so much that way.

Everything I've rented has worked perfectly. Yesterday was no exception. It's a convenient location. Easy in. Easy out. Prices are fair.

Jimmy and staff are great to work with. They always have what I need and it's in top working order. They also are great for repairs or just getting parts and supplies.

I called this place and asked for renting a scaffolding for two days to paint the 18' high ceiling of a living room at customers home. I told the rep what I was trying to do and he said he would send me what I needed. When asked for price for the two days, I was told to rent for a week, because it is cheaper to rent for a week than for two days. The price I was given over the phone was $196 plus $45 delivery charge for literary 15 minutes away. However, when I found out few weeks later that they charged me $398. Instead of $196 they charge 254, instead of $45 delivery the charge was $90, and there was also a DMG waiver charge of $25. This is a real deceiving business practice to give one price over the phone and charge the customer almost double the estimated quote. I would not recommend this place to anyone who needs equipment rental!

I had made reservations for equipment 1 week in advance and the day before i was supposed to receive the equipment that called to tell me that they were not available. i will never ever use them for rental again. I would rather pay more money somewhere else.

Jimmy has bailed me out once again!! He has to be the most knowledgeable tool rental guy I know! Any time I need a tool or a trailer Jimmy is my go to guy!

Just spoke to someone on the phone who was helping me with a truck rental, he provided the vin number to add to my insurance policy by the time I called back 10 minutes later to confirm he rented the truck to someone else for a month. He wasn't even apologetic or anything. What a waste of time... don't bother!

I rented a Spay paint machine for two days, after 1 and half day it stopped working and couldn't get a hold of the company on a Sunday. Not only i didn't get a refund for the half day i lost, but i was charged $82 for cleaning fee - (you can't clean the machine yourself if it is not working). Next time will go to Home Depot or Loews.

They have no competition around, and show a very arrogant attitude with customers without knowledge on construction business, I did business with then several times before and they always average customer service , but now a guy call jimmy just after finish my complaint hang off the phone on my face, and show completely no respect.
Never more.

After they checked that review, a WRT call jimmy just call me to complain about my review believe or not.
My problem was exactly same as other review from Ray.
They told me one thing on the phone and charge other when I return.

They have great rentals. I am a weekend home project person and they have helped me with my patio restoration project. They showed me how to use the machinery and loaded it quickly into my car. Best place for propane as well.

This is the best rental company I ve ever been to. Ben and his crew are by far the best and most knowledgeable. Not to mention very helpful and willing to work with you.

Rented a carpet shampooer. The employee explained the instructions well. Got home and it worked as expected. Great price for the rental. I had rented from another place last year and paid twice as much as WTR charged. I'm very satisfied with the service and equipment.

NEVER RENT FROM THESE GUYS. They are very unprofessional and scam artist. You are better off building your own equipment than to rent anything from them.

Price was better then the home dustpot. Overall the experience was good and will rent from then again.

I'm here in this place talk to with one man because they changed more money from our business account and my husband and I we dont know nothing about the charge. For us is very illegal because we dont have any paper about this charge. I"m feeling very upset beacuse why they took money from our business account and we dont know nothing .The two man here were very unprofessional and dont respect the customer.They have actitud and talk to me very rude and i dont finish the conversation and one man said good bye. I cant believe people like that work with costumers
