I received a Tb shot for employment got a piece of paper with an apt date and time telling me to come back between 930-10 am 2 days later to check the injection site. I got to the clinic at 9:40 was told I had to wait 10-15 minutes by a Mexican male receptionist and I said I was told by the nurse to let you guys know this is for employment and should only take about 10 seconds to check he stated they should have me back asap. So I waited 45 mins later I asked how much longer it was going to take he replied when all the people in the waiting area have to be seen first then you will be seen then proceeded to tell me this clinic doesn't take apts.... is that why I received a documented piece of paper with a date and time to come back in??!!! I must be the only person on earth that thinks in my mind that's a scheduled appointment!!!!! I left extremely upset called my employer they told me to go back and tell the clinic they have a contract with them and that I needed to be seen within 10-15 mins. So I came back and talked to a lady receptionist who instantly had a horrible attitude with me told me to take a seat and they would see me as soon as an MA was available I said I have to go to work this should never have taken this long so I sat and started to wait and while I sat I watched the Mexican guy and white lady receptionists laughing at me thinking it was hilarious that I was mad and had to be at work and they were smirking talking to nurses and everyone behind there counter about it. The people you guys have working at this clinic are the worst customer service people I have ever delt with I will be going forth and doin everything in my power to get those two people fired there are plenty of other people willing to take their jobs and willing to treat people with respect and understand that there on a timeline and have jobs of there own to go to. I was told Day of injection by the nurse that did it when I got there let them know my arm just needs to be checked they will just pull me behind the counter check it I will be on my way that turned into over a 3 hrs issues and harassment good job westcare clinic!!!!!!!!

Like a previous reviewer, when I went in suffering from a weeklong cold, thinking I needed antibiotics, the P.A., "fixated on unrelated parts of my medical history...". My primary physician is a naturopath, and I prefer to see her, but she's not open on weekends. My husband and son both had just been ill with a similar infection right up to my catching it, and both needed antibiotics. I'm not one to jump on the antibiotics bandwagon, but I felt I had let it run its course and wasn't getting better; e.g., I'd begun to cough up things they tell you mean it's time to see a doctor. Knowing I'd have a long wait at urgent care, it still seemed a good idea to try to start antibiotics over the weekend so I could go back to work on Monday. The P.A. didn't reveal whether he saw or heard infection in my throat, ears or chest until I asked him and stated, as though I was lying about my symptoms, that he just wasn't seeing anything and was simply "stating the truth." Had he told me that as he examined me and that he felt it was just a virus that would have been sufficient. I understand that not all colds lead to infections. He took copious notes, which was incredibly irritating and, to use another patient's explanation, "fixated" on why I was taking a medication my naturopath prescribed and how it affected me. And, even though I stated I couldn t take an antihistamine when I talked with the nurse prior to seeing him, he wrote a prescription for cough syrup with codeine and for an antihistamine. I feel for people who have to rely on this clinic for their care. It's not worth the wait.

The staff here is rude and mean, the air smells bad and the floor is dirty.
I wouldn t go here unless it s literally your only option.

Great experience, 1 hour before closing time with no wait and professional staff. The lobby was spacious and neat, and the Dr. was welcoming and knowledgeable.

Yes here i sit for a hour. There soda machine no water. They wanted 75.00 copay. My copay is 25.00. I will never recommended any one here. Not enough docters.

I was able to do a walk in DOT physical for $100. They could use a backup power supply for the computers and routers. A windsrom just happened to be going through and they lost power 3 times almost had to come back at a later date. Overall though I'm glad to be able to get my CDL medical certificate done and turned in to DOL to keep my license in good standing. Thanks guys!

Have been utilizing this walk in clinic for many, many years.... 20+ years! Always treated well by all who work there, and receive quality care. My family drives a bit further to use Westcare but they are hands down better and kinder than any other walk in clinic in the area. Thank you Westcare staff!

Absolute worst place I have ever been I waited over an hour and a half to be seen for my ears and got told it was only a 45 minute to and hour wait and they were taking in patients that had just arrived to be seen before other's who have been waiting to be seen back. They are all about the money and themselves rather than their patients.

Transphobic, incorrect diagnosis of a broken leg, terrible

I went to this clinic to be evaluated for a leg injury that I sustained at work and their Physician Assistant, Tom Weissberger, was very rude and inappropriate. He muttered things under his breath that were unprofessional, which I could hear, and proceeded to tell me he would control everything about my workers' compensation claim. I work for workers' compensation, and Physician Assistants are not allowed to be attending providers. I tried to reason with him, but he walked out of the room twice looking quite upset and muttering things about me. He never even took a history or examined my leg. Dr. Knowlton came in afterwards and it wasn't much better; not rude, but unprofessional. She said she would be my doctor for the claim and I said no, she wouldn't. The claim has to be initiated through this clinic but I will transfer my care elsewhere. I will never go there again, and neither should you!

Over the years Westcare has been my first stop for medical care when, most fortunately, I've very rarely needed it. A recent visit provided the same quality care and friendly professionalism I've come to to expect. Thanks!

My family and i really like this clinic. When we can't get into our primary care we go here and always well taken care of. Great staff

Always a reasonable wait time for walk in appointments. The entire staff from the front desk to physicians always kind and helpful. Grateful that the clinic is opened long hours waiting in an ER for hour and hours is never fun. Thank You westcare clinic

Friendly staff! The receptionist are wonderful. They had us in and out within the hour. Over all clean office. We will definitely visit again if we are not going to our normal physician.

My boyfriend went in for an ingrown toenail yesterday. The woman at the front desk was short and treated him he was an idiot. I literally stood next to him in horror. She was rude when we went in and she was rude when we were leaving. I'm giving two stars only because the Doctor we had seen was nice, although she didn't ask us to come back for a follow up or gave us any instructions on how to treat the toe after she removed his whole toenail. When we got home we couldn't remove the bandaid because it had fused to his skin because of the profuse amount of bleeding. Avoid if you can.

A week ago I woke up in pain because of my neck, so since I have gone to West care clinic before and had a Dr that had compassion I decided to go there again. Dr. Rodriguez told me I was fine nothing wrong with my neck. That's not what my MRI shows. I have degenerative discs and bulging discs. He talked to my daughter about me when I was right there. He asked her if I get disability. The 1 star is for Dr Lobe. She actually deserves at least 4 stars!!

I've been here a few times, the Doctors always get me squared away and back on my way to normal life in a jiffy. They were EXCEPTIONALLY helpful today, they helped me with an issue I've been struggling with for months now. The staff here are always Way more helpful than anywhere else and the Doctors are Exceedingly knowledgeable and understanding.

No doctors on staff. You get seen by a PA.
Very questionable billing practices. They charged me $10 "finance/billing charge" for a $7 bill.

Don't recommend this place. The new Providence clinic in West Olympia has urgent care and appears to be a much better option as far as facilities and staff quality.

In the past I hadn t been impressed by the care I received- however, today I was cared for by Tom W. He provided EXCEPTIONAL care! He was extremely thorough and explained everything very clearly. I felt like all my concerns were listened to and addressed. It s very apparent that quality patient care is his first priority. I follow up with him again in 2 weeks and am very satisfied.

This was the best experience that I have had with an urgent care in many years. Check-in went smooth and we didn't wait long at all maybe 10 minutes. The doctor looked at my son's throat and knew right away that it was Streph, said they could run the test if we wanted but would just keep us there longer. He wrote a script and we were on our way! Took longer to drive there than what we spent in the clinic!

Staff was great. Doctor was very nice and listened.

If you prefer a unhappy condescending physicians assistant Thomas Weissenberger that act s like a junior high bully because of your high blood pressure then this is the place for you. Extremely low budget. I will never return there nor will I recommend this place. Although receptionist s and nurses were nice. The only reason this place exists is there cheap. Not worth it go somewhere else!!!

I would give this place less than one star if possible. They have time and time again refused to contact my insurance company for payment. I have Tricare Prime and do not pay bills for urgent care. They have billed me several times, even though they know I have Tricare Prime. They add a charge to the bill each time they send a statement to my house. I have told them many times not to send me bills. I am not going to pay a bill for something I do not pay bills on. DO NOT USE them! It s very sad how some companies are treating military families! I urge anyone seeking medical help to see someone else.

Absolutely terrible place to seek medical attention. I would give it zero stars if I could. I took my boyfriend here and was seen by "Doctor" Julian Rodriguez for a work related injury. Every time we've come in for his weekly appointment, my boyfriend expresses to him that the pain is getting worse and his swelling has increased, and he marks the same stuff on the L&I claim sheet "better as expected, keep wearing the immobilizer provided". It's been 3 weeks of him saying the same thing, never listening to a word my boyfriend says. Definitely do not recommend.

Usually a short wait and decent staff. Good for finding out if you have strep or bacterial infection.
Don't go to a walk in clinic (any one) for an ankle injury.

Long long long wait, extremely rude receptionist, like literally everything is a burden for her. We waited 2 hours and someone walked in and went right back, when we asked why it was because they needed a "special room for us". I do not reccomend here at all ever. This is our second bad episode here too

This place is dirty, with unathused rude staff. Would only go here if wanted to be left unattended and untreated for hours.

I went in for an on the job injury (smashed finger) on June 24th. They were able to get me into the room and seeing a provider within 20 minutes of arrival.

The staff was absolutely perfect, destiney was my nurse, she was fun, informative, humorous, great attitude, great personality and professional. The Provider I saw was ms. Lobe, she gave me lots of knowledge, an exact answer to what was going on, she was professional, informative, fun, and gentle.

Overal this clinic was one of the best clinics I have ever been to, I am going to come here whenever it permits on all occasions possible.

Thank you to such an Amazon staff.

if I could give no stars I would. We have never had such rude service from staff before. They yelled at us on the phone and called us liers. never again. I was also hung up on the phone when I payed my bill.

went in with a sore finger and to look into treating the ringing in my ear. Left with a prescription to treat the infection in my finger and a referral to an ear specialist. all and all id say the service was quick and effective.

Walked in to get my CDL physical walked out about an hour later with physical in hand. Friendly staff and doctor. Would recommend

Overpriced, lack of treatment instruction, poor follow up. The X-ray tech was the best communicator there.

We had a very good experience. My son had slipped in the pool shower and needed stitches. We arrived without an appointment during their "walk in" hours and I feel we received great care. The staff were professional and caring. We were there for about two hours, which felt like a long time, but is nothing compared to an emergency room visit.

This place is one of the worst places I have a hard time believing that these people have medical degrees. I well never again come to this clinic.

Dr. Rodriguez was exceptional-thorough, capable and compassionate! AC was being repaired so it was a bit toasty in the lobby. Otherwise I would have given my visit five stars. I would recommend this clinic to a friend.

Service Here Is Incredibly Awful and Slow To Say They Are Not Busy At All! Receptionists Are Rude And Have 0 Energy For This Type Of Work! In Their Phones And Have No Concern For Patient Needs! The Entire Staff Needs To Be Replace This Place Is Joke.

The wait time was TWO hours and when I saw the walk in doctor, he was rude and unsympathetic. I don't suggest going here.

I read some of the reviews that were left and was kinda worried about going in but I decided to go in anyways as I needed my physical done so I went in the other day after calling and finding out they were the cheapest around for my DOT physical. $89 compared to the $150+ I found everywhere else. Nice staff and good Dr's, I will definitely be back for any of my needs that might come up.

The nurse that helped me got a message or something on his phone while I was talking to him and he put all his focus on that. Seemed a little weird being that he was supposed to help. But other than that it s good place to go. Thanks guys!

I have never been treated so badly In my life! I go into their "walk in clinic" talk to the lady and ask her if they can help me, she responds with "we could help you if you had real insurance." Gee I'm sorry I'm a small business owner who can't afford fancy insurance. I can't believe their are enough snooty tooty people to keep you people in business. Disgraceful.

I tried for 2 weeks to set up a client for drug testing. Never a call back despite me sending emails and voicemails. I'm not sure why there was such a issue. A call back would of been appreciated.

I have/had a strained ankle for about a week when I looking for a walk in clinic to get some help. I read the reviews and was skeptic to come here. I am glad I did. While the building needs remodeling, it is not dirty. The lobby is pretty open and looks pleasant. Dr. Rodriguez was very kind and eager to answer questions. I was really pleased with my overall visit. I would recommend it.

I went to get care here, and they did x rays, but the doctor said I had a bruise on my knee and it would heal and I should be okay Togo to work the next day. So I got up in the morning, not able to walk, and had to be taken into a different clinic where they said I have a sprained LCL. This place is not efficient! Go else where to get better care! Doctor didn t even look at my knee at all!

The service and level of knowledge from Dr. Buser and the entire staff was excellent. Seen for breathing difficulty and congestion, was able to have an x-ray, have blood drawn, and leave with samples and prescriptions. Extremely satisfied with the cost and level of care received. Thank you Dr. Buser!

What a joke. Nobody is on the same page. Receptionist says sure no problem, you wait 2 hrs and the doctor says no we don't do that. Insane. I'm in between doctors and they denied my care. I don't appreciate the female doctor going up front and yelling at the receptionist spilling my history for everyone to hear. How is this place even open?

I've been to WestCare many times and will always go to them. The entire staff is amazing and they treat me and my family with the utmost respect all of the providers are excellent they get you in and out as fast as they can while providing excellent service. The staff is there for you the doctors are there for you they make sure you're okay they'll even call you back to make sure you're feeling better that's Quality Care. sometimes there is a wait but that's just how it goes I personally don't mind waiting because I know about the care that I'm going to get I give them 5 stars five thumbs up. Thank you for being there WestCare you're the best

Good luck getting good medical advice or real help here - and that's after the 2 - 3 hour wait.

This facility should not be allowed to exist. I had a checkup yesterday for the Army and the staff was incredibly unprofessional and unkind. I waited 1 hr and 50 minutes to see a provider, completely unacceptable. When I politely asked about the delay I was told that they, "only had one Dr. today." When the doctor finally arrived she was curt, dismissive and breezed through the visit with little attention to detail or empathy. Last year the Army sent me here as well and I waited 90 minutes to be seen so clearly they are only getting worse.

Waited over 2 hours to get called back, will never go there again. Just seemed like they were taking their sweet time and more people came out then ever were called back.

They were nice enough but lacked professionalism and were unorganized to the point of mixing up me and my daughters test results amd information in the system causing me to have to deal with a UTI FAR longer than needed because they told me my test came back negative (the results were not MY results amd instead someone elses). Horrible

Completely unprofessional, uncaring staff. Went in because I felt extremely dizzy, lightheaded and disoriented, and the last time I experienced this it lasted for about a month, so I went in with hopes of getting some answers. The PA, Tom W., didn't offer a blood test, was rude and uncaring, and kept saying "I don't think cognitive enhancers are the answer" and giving me his opinion on medications, as if I went in there to try to get Adderall. I never brought up medication, my initial thought was I needed a blood test. I assured him I wasn't there for prescription medications. He rudely retorted "I'm just giving you my opinion on them, but thanks for letting me know you're not here to get drugs." So then why did he keep bringing cognitive enhancers up?? Anyway, he didn't offer a blood test, and when I asked about getting one he said "I think you're healthy and fine but if you want one then you can have one. " He told me I should "eat healthy and get exercise." I'm an injured college athlete, and even with my injury I'm in good shape, so I don't think that's my problem. I felt feeling more frustrated than I did when I walked in. Don't waste your time going here.

Went in today with a cold with a sever sore throat. I was most concerned with the incredibly painful sore throat that I am suffering from. I waited an hour to be taken back which really isn't bad for a walk in clinic. The nurse was was very nice and quick. When the Dr came in he looked at me checked a few things and when I coughed he asked "oh you have a cough too" and then it all went down hill. I explained all of the other symptoms that I am experiencing. He said nothing about the sore throat that I have and decided that I have a "mild sinus infection" I have a history of sinus infections which is in my chart so yeah I probably have a sinus infection not why I came. He says "you probably don't have strep we could do a culture but since we are doing a prescription for the sinus infection anyway we don't really need to." He asked me no questions about my symptoms and just seemed like he didn't care at all. When I explained that some weaker antibiotics don't work very well for me because when I was young I was over prescribed antibiotics. He basically told me that if antibiotics aren't working for me it's because whatever I have is a virus and won't be treated by antibiotics. I explained that I have been sick all month and that I feel better for a bit and then get sick again. He said "that's just the way a virus works" um sir that is also the way bacteria works. I just feel like he was treating me like I was a pill seeker all I really wanted to know is if I had strep.

This place offers terrible service, excessively long wait times, and has very poor customer service. I would give this a zero star review if possible.

Considering that it's the cheapest option I guess a bad experience is expected. They wouldn't do a test onsite that most vets and doctors can do with a microscope. It would also have been nice not to be scowled at so often. I'd prefer not to go back.

This place will keep you out of work for months then refuse to see you for lack of bill pay therefore never being able to pay since they refuse to release you to work.

Had to get my class a CDL dot physical and the clinic was very quick and effortless! The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable in getting everything I needed! I also had a work related injury which was also taken care of thru them and had physical therapy referred and was back to work in no time! Thank you west care clinic and staff!

We are very lucky to have such a nice walk-in clinic on the West Side. I went twice and felt very well taken care of. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Saved me from having to visit to ER, which is a savings indeed!

I took my 2 year old in because he hasn't been feeling well. The staff was very helpful and everyone we spoke with treated him with respect and kindness. I would recommend going in the morning to reduce wait times. Overall good experience.

My visit was for my DOT physical examination, at the West Olympia location. The staff was very nice and the exam went very fast!

Does NOT accept medical for DOT exams like most clinics do. Prepare to pay 89 bucks out of pocket.

I would give five stars if it was not for the front office staff. I recently moved to Washington from Arizona and I have a handful of medical problems so I am constantly at the doctor. I had tried getting in to see almost every doctor in Thurston county with absolutely no luck. They were all either waiting to take on new patients in January, not taking new patients at all, or had huge waiting lists. Very disheartening. I was in TEARS on the phone trying to get a refill for my antidepressants. I had attempted Westcare once for this reason and was turned away by the front staff. They simply said, "we will not see you for that."

I went in to Westcare Clinic last night for a UTI and Dr. Weissenberger was so wonderful and compassionate. I did not try to get an RX for my antidepressants because I was there for something else, but he was asking about my overall health and how I was feeling- so I had told him about my previous experience and he told me that he absolutely could help with the script for Wellbutrin. He seemed to genuinely care about my well-being. It was such a nice surprise after so much stress trying to find a doctor to help me with absolutely no luck and my bad experience with the front staff in this same clinic. Thank you, Dr. Weissenberger.

Unfortunately I had to go here in an emergency for a UTI and think I left with someone elses sickness. I was throwing up the next day and stuck in bed all day. I recommend wearing a mask, that the cliniic provides.

If I could give them zero I would, do yourself a favor and save yourself some heart ache and time find a regular dr you can go to, the time and sanity you save will be priceless. Rude staff I got my go payment back and went to tumwater family practice;they got me in that day. And now my wife can breath and so can I.

I went in for a physical a couple of weeks ago and had a great experience. Was visited by PA Tom W who was extremely pleasant and professional. I strongly recommend this clinic.
