Westbury Manor Review

This will be an ongoing detailed review through our wedding process with Westbury Manor.



I will add more through the process and actual event.

The raw clam bar they had at my company's Christmas party made me sick.

Went to a reception here that begun outside and moved inside. I was skeptical at first about the outdoor experience in the middle of the summer with everyone dressed up, but with the nice weather and shade it was quite enjoyable. Standard appetizers and bar but the menu for dinner had several more options than these places normally do. The room we had was a little smaller than the usual wedding places but we did have a smaller group and there are other rooms available.

Had a wedding here in February. The staff was wonderful and know exactly how to run a wedding. They made everything so easy. The venue is impeccable decorated even without bringing your own decorations. Highly recommend having an event here.

A garden wedding experience. It was absolutely wonderful and picturesque. Plenty of photo ops outside. The staff was nice and accommodating. The package chosen for the wedding was fantastic. As an Event Planner, there were some issues I noticed, however I know it's only because of my profession that I noticed the infractions.

*I enjoy the bathroom stalls with sinks (but all of the sinks were not functioning).

Italian restaurant in Long Island New York excellent service very cozy place for receptions and events excellent food very good location.

Awesome.. everything! Great food served with grace manners and style. Beautifully decorated for all holidays. I would definately have a wedding here.

We are SO happy we chose Westbury Manor as our 8/17/18 wedding reception venue! The staff was incredible for the entire planning process, answering every email and phone call, always setting our worries at ease. Sandra and Claudia were our Maitre'd and Bridal Attendant respectively and they were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! My husband and I wanted for nothing all night! They were constantly getting us water, drinks, food, anything we needed. They anticipated every need before we realized we needed it. Just before cake cutting, I was worried because my bangs were not looking so good, sweaty from dancing all night. I ran to the bathroom with my maid of honor, trying to figure out how to fix them, and Claudia and Sandra come running in with a blow dryer and brush! In two minutes I looked as good as I did before the day even started! The food was absolutely delicious and every tiny decor detail became a reality thanks to the entire WM staff. When I say that WM made my wedding a true fairytale, I really mean it. Their attention to detail, their amazing communication, and obvious love for what they do is so apparent! WM, Jerry Scotto, Claudia, and Sandra made my wedding dreams come true, my husband and I will never forget them!

I was a guest at a wedding here and it was love at first sight. The staff, the food and the ambiance were on point. I am happy to say I will be getting married here June 2021 and I cannot wait.

Perfectly organized party with great staff at reasonable price.

This place is shockingly beautiful. Had my wedding here and felt as if I was royalty. Real peacocks, ponds and beautiful flowers surrounding the place. The food is exquisite and prices you see is well worth it. I been to other places where the prices don't match the taste of the food and this place is not one of them.

Very nice place. However the food are not to famous

Beautiful surroundings and the food was good, but the service was lacking. They were cleaning off the tables before we were done eating, only half the table got coffee and it was cold at that. Coffee came out before desert and again only half of our table got cake, not even the half with the coffee.

All in all a great time was had by all. I wouldn't cross it off my list if I had to find a place for an event/special occasion.

I found Westbury Manor on google as i was looking for a venue to have my baby shower, I read the reviews and decided to give them a call and I spoke to Lana , who was a awesome coordinator and listened to what i wanted as far as my vision in colors and how i wanted the set up. I was so pleased and in astonishment how amazing they put the room together and how all the colors came together. It was absolutely beautiful and the staff was so nice and friendly the food was amazing and I just had a great time. They made my day super special. I would recommend all my friends and family to Westbury Manor.

They have rules on how many people they accept , which is unfair for families that are only 2 , they don t consider you a family , and they will never accept reservations from you , for 2 people , horrible unfair

Delicious food, live music on Thursday and always a good time.

This place is so nostalgic to throw a wedding and the food and staff is excellent.

Wedding went as perfectly as could be. Venue was clean, beautiful and well staffed. The staff was professional and worked hard to make our special day as memorable as possible. If I could redo that night, I wouldn't change a thing!

Aunt MB and Uncle Ed threw a great party! The food was excellent as well! I had to amend review because I didnt mention how great the staff was! Glad I chose the Watermill for my wedding this year!

Wonderful venue. I had the opportunity to DJ an event there and staff is very helpful.. Rooms are beautiful with a vintage feel. They need to upgrade to add an elevator.

Everytime we go here the food is always good and everyone is always professional. The grounds ars beautiful as well

I concur with this other reviewer. I agree that linda was very pushy .or sort of shady in her approach
i also recd a call from dazzling events about my future sister in laws affair too. (Maybe they work together)
a know it all approach like the affair will be ruined unless we hired her. was the feeling. My sister wont be fooled and you shouldnt either

Gteat catering Hall. We were thete for a function. From the car hops tonthe staff inside. Everyone is first rate. Great food, decor, and atmosphere

I loved the venue. It has its old charm that made me nostalgic. The winter garden looks so beautiful and...I wish I could have my wedding there, but! I cannot even imagine talking to Mary again. She was dismissive and condescending, wouldn t answer our questions. Like I care about your speech?! Answer the question please, if you want my business. Out of 5 venues we visited that day, this one had the worst sales rep and it left a sour taste for us.

My eldest daughter had her wedding here. Absolutely beautiful! The staff was amazing. Thanks for making her day stress free.

The staff was inconsiderate and discourteous. They lacked professionalism and efficiency.

Our daughter was married on 3/29/19. A flawless affair. Well beyond our dreams for the perfect event. Recommend to All. Thank You staff at Westbury Manor. Words can't express our gratitude and our happiness with the wedding.

I attended a Christmas celebration event there on Wednesday. There was great fashion show as well. The ambiance is amazing. Great entrance. I took a lot of photos with friends by the elaborate tree at the entrance hall. However I cannot share those. The venue is amazing! The food so delicious, the service is excellent. The bathroom was very much appreciated by us the ladies. As they had the wash basin right in there. Also there was an attendant keeping it all so impeccable and lovely. It s valet parking. Several attendants are there to make it all run smoothly. I had three prizes which I had won. The staff had a cart for me ready without me having to look for help! She even brought it to my car! I highly recommend this place for whatever celebration you plan on having! Excellent in every way!

Got married here in 1970..we're still strong and so is this amazing place !!!

50th Wedding Anniversary the staff was the most attentive I have ever experienced Would recommend anyone looking to have a affair there to do so Ask for Franco he never leaves you looking for more

What a place to have a wedding. I have been to 2 here. The cocktail hour is unbelievable. So delicious. Beautiful decor. Not cheesy at all. Dinner was great. Dance floor was big. We partied all night.

Beautiful venue for a wedding or small function. I was there for a baby shower and everything was lovely. The grounds are beautifully decorated for the fall. Besides the lovely landscaping....they have a nice koi pond with a waterfall and foot bridge. Perfect for pictures. Inside decor was very rich deep tones and elegant. Very clean private bathroom stalls both upstairs and downstairs. Food was excellent. Appetizers were very tasty. I could have eaten 100 Beef Wellington! Staff was very helpful and polite. I would definitely consider this venue for a future function!!!

I have to admit this is a professional and fancy wedding venue in Nassau County. BUT the service staffs are terrible even the worst I have ever had. I have been here as a photographer many times because I work with my team for a lot of weddings for Asian those come from Queens and out of state.
When I was shooting for the family of groom and bride , the wait staff was trying pass through because I knew he is doing his job. BUT, HE USED HIS FINGER TO POINT ME INSTEAD OF CALLING ME AND LET ME KNOW HE IS PASSING THROUGH. What a BAD ACTION!!! He didn't event know he is representing a service industry.
I hope the manager of this place can give them training about how to BRING YOUR VALUEBLE CUSTOMERS GOOD EXPERIENCE NO MATTER THEY ARE FROM ANYWHERE.

We attended our nephews wedding on 11/17/18 and can't stop raving about this venue. From the beautiful decor, delicious food and amazing professional staff. The nicest wedding we have ever attended. Kudos to all the staff and Phil .

My employer has our Xmas parties here and this place gets worse. Food was bland and tasteless. Service was poor. Chairs need to be cleaned....stains on fabric. Enough already!

I had my clients wedding here and the food the drink the service was great
most of the vendors were good except brians flower shop
i couldn't believe they delivered the wrong flowers, and the wrong colors but mostly the flowers were wilted and dead.
We tried calling to speak to brian
He would never get on the phone, I actually heard him yelling in the background, "dont put me on the phone" his girls are nothing short of rude too.
They acted that for all of the money we spent we should be greatful.
greatful for receiving the dead flowers wrongfully delivered.
Mr Scotto, your facility is very good. You should be proud but this guys company could care less about you and your reputation so it seems.
I wished we listened to the bad reviews he has as they speak about similar complaints and his attitude. I was initially pushed to brian by our sales person at your facility, i should have gone with my gut after reading his bad reviews and judging for myself.
My Scotto, You have a good company and do not need someone like this ruining your reputation.

Was there for a party. Food was great. The staff was polite and efficient.

Food exceptional, service was very attentive. Frank the manager looks after all the details.

My gorgeous friend had recently gotten married here , great experience ! Friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere !

Had a very nice old antique feeling the outside grounds looked very pretty with different paths over Bridges and waterfalls and even a pretty peacock walking around the premises

I had my daughter's sweet 16 at the Westbury Manor and I can't thank them enough for their outstanding service.
From the first day of reserving the hall to the day of the event the Westbury staff guided and worked with us with sincerity.
To this day my guests rave about the service, food and speak about the beautiful the grounds.

Nice place. Wonderful menu. Great for weddings. Piano lounge Friday nights with Lenny is great!

Went to a Gatsby theme birthday party here.. great venue!

My daughter lives going here to minister in dance for the seniors. The place is clean as well.
