One of my most favorite brunch spots in the city. The coffee is Dark Matter...yum!! The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. A plus for people with kids, this place is totally family friendly. However, people with kids and without can come exist happily in this warm and friendly environment. Gotta go!
I've been here tons. The coffee is good and the food is fine and I never do these but I felt it was probably necessary to at least say something. Today there was a screw in my Denver omelet. Probably a half an inch long metal screw fell off my fork as I was about to put my third forkful in my mouth. The waiter and the cook and the manager were all nice about it and I don't blame them but a screw fell off the vent above the grill and into my food. That could have gotten really ugly. Like I said I've been there a lot and there have been other little things like bugs on fruit and hair in my pancakes things happen, I understand that. But not screws. If you're too busy to notice you just served somebody hardware, maybe you need more staff or more oversight. Just something to be aware of when you're there.
Slightly overpriced but great lemon bars. Great sweet treats all year long.
Great breakfast, brunch and lunch spot in Westtown. The eggs Benedict is divine, avocado toast scrumptious and the cinnamon toast is more like cake than toast. Their bakery treats are decadent.
An absolute favorite!! Friendly atmosphere, great customer service, and wonderful food. We love Alcove!

Kid friendly with abundant menu options, including vegan and vegetarian items. Attached to their cake studio and bakery for cakes (of course) cakeballs (!!!) and donuts ! Part of the 50/50 restaurant group.
I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. Their jumbo Homer Simpson donut is worth the trip!
Birthday vegan cake.
I ordered cake through email.
I could say that they didn t pay much attention to what I ordered.
I asked them about chocolate cake with vanilla filling but I got chocolate cake with chocolate filling instead.
Also asked them to write on the cake happy birthday, name but they did not.
About taste.
The taste was ok but not something that I would like to eat again. Filling of the cake was hard, difficult to cut. I guessed because that cake wasn t that fresh, most probably it was in the freezer. Cake was too sweet for everybody.
Several vegan options. Beautiful cakes and pastries, excellent service.

Loved it. The set up was nice . U had to scan a barcode to see the menu. But I have a Android so it didn't work. I got something from the bakery. And a ice coffee. Didn't like the ice coffee just because it was really bitter. I prefer mine really sweet and with syrup.
I want something to eat but the options they had didn't offer alot of meat. So just got a chocolate scone. It was delicious. The waiter was very polite and attentive.
Didn't stay for too long. In the end the waiter comp my drink. Which was super nice. I gave him a tip of maybe $6, or $7. And paid my $4 for the scone. And when I walked by I saw the wait was actually working at the restaurant next door too.

My favorite breakfast spot in the city. Dosants are the most incredible baked good. Their blue plate special keep a regular coming back, as well as their ability to knock breakfast essentials out of the park. (I.e. biscuits and gravy and bagels and locks). They have a farm on the roof of the restaurant, and have an awesome open bakery. Pay their weight staff liveable wage and full benefits, and you can tell. Coffee is never yearned for and everyone has been friendly on every visit. After about 15 visits I've never had a bad experience.
This place makes the most amazing bread! ...but they don t sell it here? Odd.
Food here is awesome. Only complaint is that it's tough getting a refill on coffee.

BEST CAKE BALLS I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Who knew these could be so tasty!?!? They are melt in your mouth delicious. They re oh so gooey! The best part is they re not too sweet! Im not even a cake person but they re not the texture of cake. I can t even tell you my favorite ones because the chocolate mint, chocolate sprinkled, double chocolate, red velvet, and vanilla are all INSANE!
Had close to 30 different varieties of biscuits and gravy in my life and this one takes the cake, or shall I say biscuit! The biscuits were cooked perfectly and the gravy was seasoned and balanced perfectly. One thing I noticed right away is how fast they refill your water. It s small things like that that speaks volumes to the customers!
Had the Complete Breakfast. It's completely awful. Burnt hash browns,hard eggs, and spongy pancakes(+2$). Also hand washing appears to be optional for the kitchen staff. If you move a trash can wash your hands and please don't pick your nose. That's all I'm asking. :(

Only gave one star because zero stars isn t an option. Placed two very simple pick up orders & they failed intensely. Wanted two of the no more lonely nights cheeseburgers & they put literally nothing on them that was described on the menu. Got two burgers with only cheese on them & nothing else, & even found a hair in one of the burgers. We called them back to explain we wanted a refund & the manager said they could oblige. Has been a week & still have not received the money back to our cards. Can t expect to get our money back, just like you can t expect to get what you ordered. ZERO STARS.
Great bakery and great food! This place is a go to for my wife and I. Patrick is always a great host. I highly recommend this place! The cupcakes are my favorite but it's hard to go wrong with anything here.
Was here on Sunday and experienced the rudest people and service I ve ever seen. The cinnamon roll was tossed into the bag - UPSIDE DOWN! When we asked the woman what the donut hole flavors were her response was can t you read. The only reason we didn t walk out right then and there was because we were told then bakery was unbelievably good. After the ignorant service, the food just didn t sit right.
