Amazing food and unbeatable service. This is my #1 favorite place to go for seafood, shout out to Mark for the incredible food.
Food was amazing, we had the trio of fish and ahi tuna burger. Burger was good, the brioche bun was soft, and tuna and sauce was done well. Friend had trio of fish and it was very tender. They know how to properly cook the fish. Service was attentive, water was refilled. If you want nicely cooked fish, this place does it well. They have other items on the menu but I recommend you get a fish plate.
The food is not really worth the cost, but the environment is pretty nice.
Enjoyed this venue for a private function and the food and drinks were all excellent. It's rare to have such great quality at a large event!
Really like this place. Staff are friendly Food is good Great atmosphere. You will enjoy if you try
Great location and tasty seafood. Granville Island is amazing! I had fish and chips and nibbled on the seafood salad. I'm from Maryland and am a bit judgemental when it comes to any other regions' seafood.
I was impressed.
Great afternoon happy hour deals! Very tasty food and good wine.
A lovely place with the friendly waiters and the quality seafood. Visited it while on business trip and will definitely come back.
The best see food i ever had in Vancouver, cool happy hour and suitable price, highly recommended
Nice place good Canadian wines fresh seafood, it's not cheap but it's worth it
Helpful service and heartwarming food with a warm, comfortable dining room. We were able to sit in a quiet booth right at the door since the main dining area was bustling and quite a bit louder. Beautiful view.
The service was excellent, and the burger was delicious! However the burger and beer special does NOT come with fries, something that was totally unexpected. A burger on a plain white plate is just bizarre. Add on some fries and you ll be satisfied.
My wife had the $29 mussels which were also delicious, but seriously lacking a side of bread. Again, once we paid to add on the cheap carb on the side, it was a full and tasty meal.
Hey management, just include the cheap carbs!
Super friendly staff. Made me feel good about eating my fishy friends
Amazing seafood, splendid staff, and to top it off, a gorgeous view! All you can expect from one of Vancouver's most iconic restaurants!
The restaurant located next to the Inner Harbor of Grand Island can be known as a restaurant specializing in seafood. This is the three-course cuisine attached to the group tour. The main meal is lobster. Of course, the steamed bread is bigger than delicious. The dining environment is comfortable, the service is in place, and the view of the harbor is also very pleasant.
Value for money, good taste fresh seafood and relaxing environment.
Good choices of a variety of seafood dishes at reasonable prices. Small warning, shrimp salad sandwich from the lunch menu can be a bit messy to eat, but delicious none the less. My friend who had the tuna poke bowl cleaned the whole thing up without a second word!
Service and food were great. Little disappointed with the reservation. Had a reso when we arrived everything was very chaotic. No information was given on how long we would have to wait after our reservation. In the end our server was fantastic and the food was great.
Cool outside long balcony patio
I loved my fish and chips
Thanks
Too much valued ... servicio.lento y una.comida insipid .. what of seafood restaurant comes long .. you ask for crab meat with prawns and it comes with twice as many mushrooms..normalito
Great place. Exactly what you expect in a fresh seafood restaurant. They have a lunch 3-course option, which is pretty rare (that's usually a dinner thing). Recommend the catch of the day and the sockeye!
My net system remembers that the crab meat is so sweet, and the juice is good. With IKEA, it is more certain that the sashimi is more savage.
I ate there at their happy hour and was able to enjoy their $2 oyster special. The oysters were delicious that day!
Absolutely delicious food and good service, but very expensive and hard to find
I first heard of this place from a sponsored post on Facebook so on this trip to Vancouver I decided to try it out and man am I glad I did, when I arrived at the restaurant there was a 15 min wait which I normally wouldn't do but I decided to wait it out. The hostess was very friendly and offered to let us go explore and she'd call me when the table was ready. Fast forward, so they sit us at a nice booth in the back, our waiter (wish I'd got his name) was very knowledgeable of the beer and menu selections (great customer service is a big plus for me) I had the 6oz steak and King Crab legs which was delicious, my gf had the Steak and salad. TLDR: Excellent experience, food was A+ along with the staff. Definitely a a restaurant everyone should visit if you're in Vancouver!!
Great seafood platter with fresh crabs, a very delicious lunch
Great ambience, lovely cozy place for happy hour between 3-6pm
Fresh Seafood , with a great atmosphere! The service was excellent!!! VFC
Came here for Happy Hour, great selection at great prices!
Great atmosphere, waiter, wine, and food. We received a card congratulating us for our anniversary. Worth the cost
We just stopped for a local beer. The facilities are beautiful and the service was friendly. I only found it unfortunate not to inform us on arrival that if we sat at the internal tables we would have the right to happy-hour promotion
The meals are exquisite and the cocktails and desserts are abundant too
The best. Loved it. Lots of precautions taken to keep customers safe.
Great food, best fish and chips I have ever had. Oysters were also amazing!
Did was ok, prices were high. Service was good, but I shouldn't have to ask for a coffee refill.
Excellent select of seafood items, including gluten free options. Great atmosphere and service in a heavily trafficked area.
Hey there I don t know how many drinks you ve had tonight but I ve had one beer NOT two; it s still half full sitting at the table over there, also I think you added someone else s order to my bill... I explained to the bartender Geoff (who has been there for years) According to the group of regulars I joined one night I ve only heard positive raving reviews, I had to check it out and I was actually more than disappointed. I was not impressed with the service, as my husbands drink was taken away before it was more than half finished, my bill was wrong on more than one item and I m 100% sure I d seen the staff drinking in the job instead of clearing empty dishes to the only table still in service.. WELP that is what it is I guess. I would hate to imagine that this kind of stuff happens more often than not (overcharged bills, half-cut staff) but that s the truth in the business I suppose. Quite alarming and unprofessional.
My waiter was bomb diggity, wonderful environment / Atmosphere.the food was on point I ordered the surf and turn platter plus 1lb king crab legs extra. They murdered it I'll be back
The food was good especially the chicken tacos . The service was extremely slow though .
Save your money and keep on walking, there are far better options on Granville Island. The only good things about this place were the patio & our server. Food was poorly prepared and over priced. Portions were very small. No options if you don't want seafood (although the name Vancouver Fish Co should give that one away). Will not return and would not recommend.
A little overpriced, more tourist place with a great patio....not so much for locals
Great location, Excellent service, Beautiful food, Not over priced
Very good food and a great location. We had fish which was prepared well. The outdoor deck overlooks the boating area, which is nice. Definitely a good restaurant to go to on Granville Island.
Our server seemed occupied, not the best service. Forgot drinks and appys throughout our meal.
This was our first stop when we landed in Vancouver and it did not disappoint. We got fish and chips, oysters and chowder it was awesome!
Over Priced & Under Fed... nice day however. The waitress was a very nice young woman from Alberta. Had the Trio of seafood just a bit disappointing.
Nice place to have drinks while sitting outside and enjoying the water. We skipped the food aside from the bar snacks (fries etc.) which were just OK. Drinks were good and the party was very happy with the service. Nice location and good seating. Works for larger parties. Food didn't seem super appealing, but is has more of a hangout/bar vibe to me anyway.
Came for Dine Out with my girlfriend's family. The menu was incredible for a $45 menu. The wine pairings were also on point.
Would highly recommend the prawn or seafood chowder appies, as they are both unique takes on standard concepts and made with healthier ingredients.
Finally, the desserts were a bit less "wow" than the previous courses, but by no means less. Both the apple tarte tatin and cheesecake were a delicious and refreshing way to finish the meal.
The wine pairings chosen were the Riesling for the prawn appetizer, and the port for the cheesecake, and the guests all thought they were very well matched!
Given location was expecting a tourist trap but the food was great. Good chowder, excellent Humboldt squid, prices reasonable
It's quite ordinary here, nothing that I've tried here really stands out. They do open later than most other restaurants on Granville Island though, so that's a plus.
Fantastic fin ng experience, the food quality is above the par, fine dining environment, friendly service and reasonable pricing.
The scallop is fresh, well seared, and very juicy inside. Vegetable are well cooked as well.
The brunch menu is pretty solid as well. Good amount of choices and affordable.
Will come back again.
Great place, awesome fish and always the freshest oysters. Jessie was our server and was so accommodating of our quick visit. Great location too!
Mediocre for the prices. More for tourists perhaps.
Over priced, over cooked fish. The setting was nice though
EPIC HAPPY HOUR! I totally devoured all of the food we ordered or I would post photos. The halibut fritters and chips were a highlight, and the mussels, actually the prawns were soooo goooood. Come here!!! Happy hour 3-6!!
Mussels were some of the best i have had in a long time, place was nice with good atmosphere
Wanted to wait until I had been here a few times before writing my review. Overall this is a decent restaurant for some seafood. I do find it is on the expensive side and you are definitely paying the tourist tax here. The food quality was just above average in my mind. I've had the salmon burger and fish n chips. Both meals were a bit dry for me. Drink and wine list is decent but not overly creative. If you are a local, I'd suggest a place downtown for better value.
The food here is amazing, view is breath taking and the staff are professional and kind. This place is my new favorite seafood restaurant
Had the worst experience. NEVER order the paella. One of the servers was rude and impatient. Another server asked if my girlfriend had contacts on just as I was paying (probably complimenting me to get a bigger tip).
Anyways, the clam chowder bowl was pretty good. Polished it off. Nothing to write home about and have had better but good enough. The paella, however, was totally and completely unacceptable. It came to us cold and the rice was under cooked. We asked for a re-do or re-warm and it came back again COLD and basically unchanged. The chef tried to satisfy us with a walnut shrimp but it was below par. I don't know paella, but I do know the rice should be properly cooked. Very unhappy about spending nearly $40 on a dish that we didn't enjoy.
Will not return to this restaurant unless the g/m or head chef responds back with something worth our time.
Drove all the way from north Vancouver hungry during happy hour, the server would not let us sit out of the happy hour area right by the door, even though we were planning on having a full meal plus one or two items from happy hour. I would not recommend this place, such a waist of drive. probably why the restaurant wasnt busy.
I had the fish and chips and my wife had the poke bowl. The fish and chips were overly greasy, with over done fish. My wife's poke bowl had tuna that tasted very old and left a bad taste in her mouth, and the salad dressing had zero flavour. Was an over all disappointing experience. We were there as a party of 9 and had to send back two meals due to bad ingredients, and not a single person would recommend this place or return.
Went here for happy hour. Hostess was good.
Server took long time to check in on us for each time we could have wanted something. Didn't see him for most of our meal. Other serving staff were way more available.
Food was ok. Burger, less so, very boring. Salad didn't have much dressing and maybe not tossed properly, just tasting raw veggies. The halibut fritters and fries tasted good.
Seafood linguini from regular menu tasted good but not what I wanted and feel overpriced. Just that the happy hour dishes were piling up and we were not getting full.
Good service. Fresh seafood. On Granville island, good views.
I like Caesars, and these folks know how to make a proper caesar. Though being on Granville island, its priced for a tourist. Otherwise, excellent raw oysters and overall food menu. Service is top notch.
Enjoyed the food and the outdoor seating. Good social distancing protocols
Was so awesome one off the best tasting food i had and service is great plus views was so beautiful :)
