Staff are professional, friendly, and very well trained. I am just starting my swimming endurance training. But am an experienced pool swimmer. Life guards rotate pools to maintain an alert attitude. Love this place

" Please be out of the water by 6:00 if you are participating in fun/family swim." I got into a verbal altercation with a staff member here just today. I thought I was doing everything right. I researched the place and it clearly states that the facilities close at 9:00. Come to find out fun swim stops at 6:00 which I was okay with. When the lifeguard stated that they were closing my daughter asks to use the restroom and the lifeguard tells her that we close the restrooms at 6:00. He tells me she should have went to the restroom prior to closing but we thought we had 3 more hours. Wouldn't you try to give a family time to get their stuff together and leave? These kids (lifeguards) group together and consider no one else's needs but their own. I understand being ready to do home from work as much as anyone but be considerate especially while dealing with small children. I only gave this location a second star because of the beautiful facilities.

I've been to Buford, but Buford is nice to play inside,
It can be played inside the pool (it's too deep for children to play), and you can take food with you in both places.

My kids like it. Will be visiting next summer !!!

Great place to swim laps. I wanted to work on building up my stamina during Taekwondo sparring matches. My Master (Anna Perez at Tucker Taekwondo Center) recommended swimming over running as it's less impact on the knees, requires more breath control, and uses the full body simultaneously. Anyway, the prices here are great, the place is well equipped and maintained, and I highly recommend it if you're into swimming.

Great facility, too bad that the reception is rude and the rules are way toooooo strict. They whistle and yell at the kids for it seems like every little thing. We had a 5 year old child in the group and was asked to leave even when we had one adult watching along with the county paid life guards. What was the point of having the life guard? To harrass kids? REALLY, we are on top of our kids watching her in the kids play area and still need to be in the water with her at all times. She had a vest on and the water is only belly deep vs her height. I understand the there is liability issues but whats the point of openning a water park if the guests cant enjoy it without too much impedence from its staff? And Yes, No Refunds..

It received 1 star because I had to pay almost $4/per baby for my 4 month old triplets that I had no intentions of putting in the pool and that sat in their car seats sleeping the whole time. I can see if I was putting them in the pool but they were fully clothed in regular clothes the whole time. This policy should be changed.

We brought the kids here for the day. I would suggest that if you go, you try to go on a day during the week when it may be less crowded. We went on a Saturday and they don t open until 12. We got there at 1230 and it was already packed. No seats available outside.

Recommended items to bring include lawn chairs, an umbrella for the sun, and snacks if you have kids.

The space itself is nice as there is an inside and outside area. Outside has a kiddie pool (that has a broken slide), a lazy river, and a regular pool area. It was just too crowded to really enjoy the lazy river.

Inside has 2 regular pools and a diving board. There is also a salt water pool. This was clearly the best part of the location as the water was warmer and it was so less crowded.

Be prepared for hourly pool checks that last 15 minutes and 2 of the pool had someone vomit or poop in them so they closed them for at least an hour.

We love the Aquatic Center our kids take swim lessons here. What we don't love is the registration process for trying to sign up for new classes. You want you kids to have the same instructors but they make it hard to get the same instructors for the next session and you have to go on the waiting lists and hope and pray they let you in. If your in the class you should get first dibs on signing back up for the next session. This rating on this entire process no just the Aquatic Center itself.

This place is so cute! It was $8 per person ages 2+. Tickets have to be purchased the day before. Due to Corona they are limiting visitors and hours so check the website. We had a 3 hour slot and all the kids had a blast. 2 large slides, lazy river, awesome play place in the middle of it all. It was a great day.. we will be going back!

Gwinnett parks has a great pool system. Yes, they enforce their rules, but that's why the pool system is nice and not overrun with undesirables. They don't allow you to bring your big-ass ugly floats into the pool. They don't allow you to run around the pool area. They don't allow you to bring a big picnic lunch and sit right next to the pool while you're eating it. They don't allow you to let your young toddlers swim without swim diapers. They don't allow people to come in their regular shorts (bathing suits only).

ALL of these rules serve to make the pools an enjoyable place for EVERYone, not just the people who can't make their children behave and feel they should be allowed to do whatever they want whenever they want.
