They teach The WORD. People are friendly and the choir is spectacular

I was visiting LA from Canada and wanted to experience some real gospel music, and to worship the Lord with some Angelenos. I wasn't in town for Sunday, so I went to the Wednesday evening service. I felt nervous going in, but as I walked in, I was immediately welcomed. The love of God is alive in this place, and among the people here. I met some great people after the service, and the music was wonderful. Thank you Bishop Blake, and West Angeles!

I been here before but it wasn't during church hours. I was sitting in there in the dark by myself.

I was raised in this church as my family it still ain't somewhat involved but not like it was before. Love this church pastor E Blake the best one of the best out there and a soon hall of famer.

BEEN a source of HELP to my family and me for some thirty years or more, TO WHOM IT SEEM as though they are the ONLY penetcostal Church that held FAST to the WORDS OF HOLINESS and SANCTIFICATION!!!! AND HASN'T SOLD TO the world's WAYS!!!!!!

After divorcing a devilish COGIC pastor, I allowed the devil to totally take my eye off of the prize, JESUS! After years of running, God showed up and showed out through my 20 year old daughter with a message through her for me that snapped me out of that hell I was in. The Holy Spirit told me to get back in my word & fellowship and get my praise and worship on with like-minded believers who wouldn t judge my noisy praise. He lead me to West Angeles COGIC, where I ve been every Sunday since! I even worshipped there on New Year s Eve & enjoyed every minute of it! I m spiritually fed & really love and appreciate the humbleness of Bishop & Lady Blake! It s my new church home & I m so glad to be in the house of the Lord where I belong!

Huge church campus, Sunday catered lunch is offered after service for a very mineal cost of $8.00. The worship is good, the preaching is okay, lots of praise and worship songs and the church acknowledges each others life accomplishments and lift up people who need prayer and help. If you enjoy that old school Southern Baptist type of church, then this is a church to visit.

Although, we know we will not live forever, it s such a difficult emotional moment when you re told a parent has died. This was the case for me when my mother transitioned unexpectedly. Then came the process of honoring her memory in the way she lived as a Christian. It so happened that on the same day the news arrived a friend connected with me and he directed me to West Angeles Church for her services. I m so eternally grateful for that call as this was the most amazing experience. From the onset every detail was explained clearly. What was required of me was made known, while that may seem like standard communication, but after calling other locations apparently it s not. West Angeles Bereavement Team is exceedingly professional and I felt well taken care of and supported during this very tragic time. I was provided with a plaque commemorating the journey of my mother, a recording of the service and above all else a stress, drama, and worry free memorial. The services and repast was held inside the Crystal Room, which is large and spacious. The West A team conducted the service so that I could breathe while still grieving. It was just amazing. The meal serviced was delicious especially the green beans and rice. The ministry team serviced guests (albeit we were a small group) with love. I felt the love and care. This review has taken me a while to write, but I m so incredibly thankful and if you re journey calls for such arrangements know that you ll be in good hands at West Angeles.
