Working with Chris Erstine on selling my current house. Fantastic experience. I've never reached his voicemail when calling and he has kept me updated on each showing. Very good at his craft. Highly recommend.

I live in Cambridge Park Apartments. I received a notice last week that they are raising my rent by over 10% in the next month, which is the second rent increase that has happened during my tenancy. The apartments are in a great location, but they have no amenities other than a tiny gym and are only about 800 square feet for a 2 bedroom. Also, the carpet, tile, counters, etc. are the cheapest kind possible. For the price, it's no longer worth it to live there. I'm moving a mile away and getting 400 additional square feet in a townhome for only 100.00 more. Beware renters, this company WILL raise your rent and it will not be in small increments. On a positive note, they keep the grounds very nice and it is a safe, quiet complex with very nice neighbors. For the most part, they get to maintenance requests quickly and have a very nice maintenance man working for them. This company also stole my deposit from me. I had pics and videos though, so they ended up having to give part of it back. Shady people. Avoid if you can.

Beware!! Beware!! We leased a house for right at 2 years. An employee from this company was the property manager. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK. We were told we didn t use the correct paint to touch up some spots on the wall. We used the paint the owner had provided. They said it cost $2200 to repaint. They repainted because the didn t like the yellow color it originally was and to sell it they needed to paint it a different color. We shouldn t have to pay because they wanted to paint it a different color. They also charged me $172 for landscaping and mowing. Landscaping and mowing was included in the monthly lease payment so to charge extra for that REALLY. They will make up what ever they need to in order to take your entire deposit. Amazing how they treat people that had the carpets professionally cleaned before they moved out. Just tell people up front you are going to take the deposit from them.

"THE WEICHERT DIFFERENCE"

If you are looking to buy any RE Property, this Real Estate Office is the last place to be used for it. All they want is to trap you into signing a contract (exclusive right to buy that is) and make you completely dependent on them; you are not going to be able to use any other Realtor for six plus months even if you do not like this office.
Moreover, if you decide to terminate this ridiculous relationship, you will have to pay $1000 as an early termination penalty (that is probably, how they make the majority of their income). By the way this so-called Contract is used only if the RE Office cannot provide adequate comparable service for the Buyer.
The RE Agent Mallory Stroud (witch was supposed to work with me) seemed in complete prostration and could not answer any questions, so she ran for Help and The Help arrived: Greg Spencer - The Broker. He looked very official and behaved like Supreme Leader, so when I asked him: how could I sign the Exclusive Right to buy Contract for 6 months with an agent that I saw for the first time in my life, do not now how knowledgeable she is, if she fits to be working on my project and even before the first showing? He replied: We, in Arkansas (then added) in our Office, require signing such a contract. After a few seconds of thinking, he pronounced: but it is completely her choice, if she is willing to proceed without it.
I have been in a RE business for 30 years and I have never come across such ridiculous condition: Unless you sign an Agreement, you're not gonna go see the properties
Indeed, I refused to sign it and told them, that I would have to report this issue to Arkansas Board of Realtors. Therefore, Mr. Spencer replied: Good luck with this one, I am sitting on that Board!
In conclusion my wife and I left the Office with very hard fillings, wasted time and a bad taste in a mouth.
GOOD JOB, WEICHERT . WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

In response to your response: as a Realtor, you should understand the difference between Buyer Agency Agreement and Exclusive Right to Buy Agreement

Some offices (like, for example yours) squeeze the Early Termination stipulation with the penalty (in your case) of $1000. It means that if you even do not satisfy the buyer s expectation, he cannot get out of this agreement in one peace. And, by the way, time is always very important for the Buyer.
Buyer Agency Agreement - Homebuyers typically sign buyer broker agreements with their real estate brokers/agents before writing a purchase agreement for the certain property. The buyer broker agreements spell out precisely who represents the buyer. It is also known as buyer representation, without any further obligation from the buyer s side.
This you have to learn before taking your Arkansas Real Estate exam.

I had a horrible experience renting from this company, as they are reluctant to help when situations arise, and do not return your security deposit in a timely ethical manner. My unit was left in better condition than I received it, although $200 was taken out of my deposit for cleaning and keeping the utilities on after termination of my lease.

My husband and I purchased our first home yesterday and I can not rave more about my experience with Amber Coleman of Weichert Realtors - The Griffin Company. She has been a saving grace in what could have been an extremely stressful time for us. She is responsive, informative, professional and extremely considerate of a buyer's needs and wants. She made the home buying process so enjoyable and I'd recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Amber, for all of your hard work and dedication. You're a peach and we couldn't be happier!

The review stating these folks are incompetent and...

The review stating these folks are incompetent and self absorbed falls short in describing them. They shattered any ethical boundaries, regulatory or otherwise and the realtor who handled our deal should be investigated criminally.

Do not rent from them at least not from the Orchar...

Do not rent from them at least not from the Orchard st rentals. the landlord is rude. she constantly hounded me for my 30 day notice which I still had a whole month to turn in to her. I even called the main office and they told I had a whole month and she was sending me text every day saying she needed it no later than the day that she sent the text. I had four little holes in the wall where I hung my tv and 4 holes on each window where I hung my curtains. I filled all the holes before I moved out and I vacuumed, dusted, swept and mopped every inch of that place when I moved out, I even scrubbed the shower and out of a $650 deposit I got a $12 check back after moving out. the landlord at this location is horrible.

They pay my Janitorial Company more money to clean apartments and town homes . They are proffesional at what they do. I left Lindsey Management to contract with them, so I could proffit more for my company. Lindsey is the worst company ever to work AND do business with.
