Wegmans Food Markets INC Review

Too slow unloading 5-7 hours most of time here for unloading.

Wegmans is fun to shop in. Everyone is helpful. The floral department is fabulous. Great selection.

Had 1am appointment and i was there by 1245 , it was 3am before i got into a dock door , then 2.5 hours before I got unloaded and only had a half of a trailer of bread , then they will knock on your door wanting you to hurry up and leave , no parking on lot

one big plus - they have very nice cafeteria with very nice price

Typical food DC, driver's time does not matter. You will be here awhile.

Bad place for unloading. Very long time. For the inexperienced Drivers bad place for parking on the gate. Not enough room. Go into a black list

Do not come here on Friday night, ull leave Saturday noon!!! Virus must be good for everyone but not for truckers. Just an extra 10 hours to usual 4 hours. No biggie

This place sucks big time no respect for drivers at all takes for ever to unload show some respect or teach your employees at the receiving to work faster is rididiculous arrived at 640 am with a 7 am appointment got a door at 718 am but took a lot of time to unload now i have to drive late at nite for my next load just because of this place SMH !!!!!
I guess the good reviews are from the same employees in here all the bad reviews here about this place are right.. *********until when drivers have to suffer the abuse from places like this one and many more *********

They will hold your truck over 6 hours after the scheduled appointments. Think if you can afford it.

For the truckers. No overnight parking on premises.

This place is slower than sloth trying to pour molasses over a mountain! And to think I actually liked their store..don't think I'll be shopping there anymore. 6 hours in a dock is rediculas! And my dog hasn't got to go out either!

Normal place, unloaded the Reefer quickly in 2 hours. In the interior there is a cafe supposedly buffet. You can eat normally for not much money.

Truck drivers STAY AWAY from this place.
I came in early 8:30am for my appointment at 3pm with the hope they maybe able to unload me early if possible. Still here now at 5pm and my trailer still full. Talked few times to the security and the lumper people and every time is the same BS we are busy you just have to wait or we don t have your paperwork yet or security did not check you in or the warehouse is not ready for you yet. I am
the only truck waiting everyone else that came after me is gone!!! Worse place I have been so far.

I can only assume some fat guy is unloading me one box at a time been here going on 6 hrs, I know grocery warehouses are notoriously slow but damnit boy!!!

Six hours to unload 28 pallets. Dirty restroom, no pet area, and they prefer you stay in you're truck, no staging area park wherever and block traffic.

This place is for the birds!! Checked in at 0615 they took our trailer at 0645 so thinking yay... Whatever it is now 1641 clock is down to 15 mins and we are sitting here because they have unexplained OS&D!! We will never return here garbage!!

Truck drivers try to avoid this place... my appointment was 8:30 am, I checked in 6.00 am right now 14:33 still not unloading. There are bunch of lazy guys do not know what they are doing over here. No Managment.

Had an appointment for 9:00 pm got in around 4:00 pm was told to park and they will come get my trailer when they have a door open. At 11:30 I still hadn t been given a door checked with guard and I wasn t even in the computer from when I checked in.
Was sent to an overflow lot and was finally unloaded at 10:00 am the following day.
Was late getting to my next pick up..

Cafeteria on site. Pretty inexpensive. Polite and friendly stuff. Wish there were more places like this!

I don't even know if I am wasting my time writing this, in hope Wegmans would care someday to read these reviews. But drivers should know for sure that this place is complete out of mind. Min 5 hrs to unload 24-28 pallets?!!! This is just insane. Employees don't care since they get paid hourly so don't managers. That's why its been years but no improvement, getting worse . Unbelievable how these people have no humanity sense in them for keeping driver hours for something that can be done in less than 1 hour. Shame on Wegmans DC employees.

Over all good experience. Checked in at gate, guards were nice.. checked in inside and assigned door. Unloaded fairly quickly too.

Very Slow. Took 4 hours to unload from my appointment time. They run me out of my duty hours and they don't have overnight parking and force to leave or park on the road.

6 hours stuck in a dock? Even Walmart is better than this. Never shopping at a Wegmans again. No pet area either. :(

OMG appt was 11:00am, checked in 10:50am, at the door 11:30am,now 2:15pm and I'm still here waiting for phone call. Lazy workers, takes forever to get unloaded. This is my second time. I hope I'll never come back.

had 9:30pm appt, got there at 7:30pm. Called driver 11:45pm to come to door. Got out at 2pm. SLOW!

This place is a joke to get unloaded, other O /O make sure u ask brokers were is load heading. This is Rochester NY location cuz u will loose most of your hours,which screws up your daily plan to pick up next load, ask broker least 600 above what they offering for the load going to this hell hole I am putting this location on my black list.

Pls, don t go there with out apt. also u can go there two hours earlier to de apt. time. No overnight, but fr there u can go 24 miles away to trucks stop on I-390 south exit# 9 n make left n it ll be right there. ( with apt. time in n out two to three hours)

This place is a joke lumpers are slow and lazy took 8+ hrs to unload one trailer make sure to never haul a load here again!

I didn't hate it but 4 hours to take off palletized load that took shipper 15 minutes to load. Plus I was more than an hour early for my appointment!!!!

Fast unloading even despite the fact I was late. I don t know where this cheap cafeteria is located that everyone is talking about. Didn t see any signs. But I didn t need to. I m out of here on to my next assignment.

These days they unload bit faster than before, keep it up guys, make the driver come out with smile on face!

Had a load straight through delivery (260 miles, dry load)Arrived an hour before my appointment time , got unloaded after 24 hours ,idiotic facility , try to avoid them ...0 stars

Got appointment at 4:00 am, check in at 3:15 am and was unloaded by 6:00 am. Not bad for how bad the other reviews were. I found the staff very polite.
Once you check in you need to drop your trailer in the designated area and just wait for them to call you to pick up your trailer back.

Tight on the inside, be very careful. But they have food cafeteria. Takes a lil for them to unload though

The guards are always friendly, but the woman in produce receiving is cranky. Worst of all, I'm usually there at least 3 or 4 hours past my appointment time. Do not show up any earlier than 1 hour before your appointment, and there's no parking before or after delivery.

Very slow unload time. My appointment was at 11am I showed up at 10am they put me in a door as soon as I checked in but it has been 3.5 hours and I'm still not unload. First time here, hope it's my last.

1.75 hrs to unload apples and pears. All staff and personal very professional and nice.

Appt @0900 came 30min early. Was dock at 0915. It 1153 now no phone call yet. Walk in to check on the status of my trailer it's empty! Asked the receptionist and she said it not ready yet! My trailer is empty! Still no phone call when ready..... avoid if you can

Since you arrive at this place you realize that it is a garbage a huge line to check before entering there is no space to park before the entrance you have to stay blocking the main street.

Appointment 11am showed up 9am told to drop the trailer and wait for the spot guy to take the trailer still sitting here past my appointment time now worrying about how long wll it take to get unloaded here after they take my trailer

I came here two hours before my appointment now five hours after my appointment and still not unloaded yet only six pallets I will never ever come here as long as I know it s Wegmans dry grocery

Friendly Ppl at security. Delivery 3-4 hours
1- No overnight parking. The nearest rest area is almost 40miles on I-90
2- check in with Guard and place ur Bills at the back of trailer.
3- Back in to your assigned Dock. Stay in ur truck
4- once a green light u can move forward. They would place the signed bills at the back of trailer. Sometime they may bring the documents to ur truck.
4- leave ur doors open while exiting facility

This is the best food store IN N.Y.

Was here at 9 am for an 11am appointment at 1pm went in to receiving to find out why I was not in the door yet was told by they manager they were not going to call me in to a door till 4pm because unfortunately they were overbooked today I ask you how is this my fault that i have to wait 5 hrs after my appointment time because you overbooked wrong answer
Had I been late would have made me reschedule I was early should have been out before noon don't go here they make there own appointment regardless of when your appointment time is

Typical grocery warehouse. Nothing unusual. My only drawback was entire load refused. Reason gave was pallets wrapped too tight. Don't know who that one falls on

Appt 1100. Arrived 1000. Unloaded at 1403. Why can't these places unload in a timely manner? I'm delivering their product to sell to consumers. But I have to wait to get unloaded. The reviews live up to how bad this place is. I know, 3 hours after appt time is not terrible. That's why 2 stars. It could have been worse.

Truck drivers for your attention. My appoint set morning 5 am up. I checked in night before 11:00 they let me to park inside and wait for yard guy to come to take my trailer inside. I woke up in the morning 6 Am no one came until 6 to knock my door. I went back to office to find out what is going on. They all say just wait. Yard guy came 8 am to take my trailer inside. After they took my trailer in I call several times all saying wait. I walked to office couple times no reason. Or Respect to drivers time. Right now it is 11:50 they still not calling.

JUST AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!
