The worst hospital I've ever been to in my life, this place needs to be inspected. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Btw this is for weatherford ok. I was recommended by urgent care to go to the er and I did. They checked me out but said everything was fine but urgent care said I needed blood work and chest X-ray. They discharged me and urgent care told me to go to Clinton er. The Clinton er is a little out of date but they were so sweet and treated me with respect. Would go to Clinton Instead of weatherford.
Dr. Lipe that works in the Weatherford Regional Hospital ER. Everytime he is the dr on duty we never seem to get the help we need. He never checks into things correctly. A few years back my 7yr old niece almost died becuase he overlooked her internal infection several times when brought to the er. Thank God we got a second opinion! My mom had to go to the er tonight at 4am and after she has had 2 near fatal strokes at 2 weeks ago and her dr told her if her blood pressure got high go to the er. She had 2 blood clots in her brain. He told her that her blood pressure being 200+/100+ was "not a big deal". Please go back to private practice so we can actually choose to see you or not.
My daughter comes in 8 weeks pregnant having spotting and cramps and you people claiming to me she is in the OB being taken care of all the while she is being sat in the waiting room and you don t have time to take her mothers calls!!? REALLY!! You re a sorry excuse for a hospital!! If there was a zero stars that s what you would get while your reception sits on her Instagram!! But can t take my calls!? Check your cameras!!!
My mother-in-law and I were next door to the hospital touring an assisted living care facility. When we were leaving she was having trouble breathing from the walk and needed her oxygen so I helped her put on the mask and she asked for help to get into the vehicle. I ran in and found two employees to come and help me. When we got out there to help she was coughing awful and then all of the sudden passed out so we laid her gently on the parking lot.
As the workers called 911 and I called my husband my mother-in-law, Karen, was starting to turn blue in the face..she wasn't waking up...more employees were starting to gather. It took 17 min for a small fire truck to come and start CPR, why hadn't any of the staff or I start to do this sooner? Everything was going so fast except the ambulance they took forever!! When they did finally show up we got mom to the hospital right next door!
The doctor and nurses had her in an emergency room while I was answering questions in the back and handing over her medical cards. They brought her back thank God, but then she passed right back out, she did this several times. I was told I had to wait in the waiting room where I had to answer the questions all over again. Then they wanted me back again and was asking more of the same questions then back to the waiting room, then back to the E.R. It was crazy! When I was told to go to the waiting room last my husband showed up and we could both go back, then they offered us drinks. It felt like they had no clue what they were doing at all.
The doctor kept coming out of the room and doing different things, talking with other people and then they asked if mom had a D.O.R. in place? Really!! I would've told them a long time ago if she had..is there no communication here? After mom had come back to us 4-5 times then shut down again the hospital decided to medi-flight her to the OKC Heart hospital. They brought her back and told us that she was having seizures from going without oxygen for those 17 awful minutes waiting on the ambulance. With the seizures mom would never be the same and she would be on machines for all of her remaining life, she wouldn't be the same. We had to make that tough choice to say goodbye and let her go. She had already been through so much and we knew she'd never want to live as a vegetable or have machines to keep her alive.
If you EVER have any other choice use another hospital!! This one has absolutely no communication. The doctor was out of the room more than he was with his patient than needed help from him. I don't have anything good to say about the ambulance or the living center next door to the hospital either. With those employees working at a place where the elderly spend the rest of their days you would think someone would've dropped down and started CPR!!
I don t normally leave reviews but this place is pretty much a joke. Our chiropractor ordered X-rays of my daughters back. She s a gymnast and cheers and has been having horrible hip/back issues. So he wanted to make sure he wasn t missing something. They treated my husband and her so bad. The minute they walked in the door. They got their temps scanned...lady was rude. The lady who registered the paperwork...rude. I will be making a complaint with administration as well. We live close enough to OKC we will just go there instead next time.
The er dr accused me of doing drugs and the nurse that discharged me from the hospital told me that i shouldn't come in to the er. They misdiagnosed me and said i had a uti and that i was fine the next day i went to my primary dr and they told me i was starting to become septic because my kidneys were severely infected it almost killed me. I waited 4 hours to not be treated as a human being. The only doctor that works is dr lamb. I would rate it 0 stars if i could
This place is so so very bad... my tenant got sick went to ER they doped her up then had me come get her O M G she fell because they had her all doped up and we had to call the fire department and ambulance service again they said she needed to go back to ER
The reviews really do sum this place up pretty well. Everyone here in weatherford absolutely hates this hospital, it's a massive joke. I highly suggest staying away unless you have a limb hanging off.
Don t bring a loved one here if you actually care about their well being. They will mock and make fun of you and complain about having to do their jobs
